I was lucky enough to see them when they came through LA during this album tour, awesome show and even nicer dudes, I smoked a fat ass blunt with them after the show too.
Andrew (12 string guitar) left to start another band, rest of the band moved on and made another album but then Nolan (bass) moved to Canada while the rest of the band stayed in michigan and kind of life happened. Sadly I dont they're making anything new anytime soon.
well, they reminded me of Temples too You have a whole fucking lot of bands sounding like that nowadays .. Tame Impala (at least the first albums), White Mystery, Twin Peaks, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, A Place to Bury Strangers .. oh, and all the stuffs Ty Segall has been involved in (Fuzz, White Fence, King Tuff ..) cheers
The Murlocs, Man or Astro Man, Pond, Wand, Black Angels, Mink Mussel Creek, Post Animal, Meatbodies Various degrees of Sabbath heavyness, 60's psychedelia, fuzz, surf rock, blues, minor chords etc.
a bit heavy on the echo but I like their retro-style mixed with riff-rock....they are competent but not spectacular musicians however they have a great quirky vibe in their look and presentation.
These cats are cool but those vocals just get too lost for me. But still like it. I also recommend "Thee Oh Sees". Very undersated band with a harder feel similar to this.
These guys have a cool sound but either they're invisible on the internet or I'm incompetent. Is there any press on these guys or do they have a web page?
not going to lie, I clicked because of the j mascis jazzmaster in the thumbnail...not disappointed at all.
new fan

Primary Colors! Reminiscent of early Horrors
What kind of pedal is he using to get that awesome effect at 2.36?
Think its a phase shifter, not too sure though
Sounds awesome through the 12 string and I think with all the reverb/echo makes it difficult to pinpoint the exact effect
10:10 nice
get wytches on kexp please
Fuck, this sounds until mexico
Bass player from Meatbodies on the 12 string?
