Band is amazing. One of my all time favorites, but also gotta give it up to kexp for some of the best audio engineers around. Every video they put out sounds consistently amazing. Massive props to all of them.

@@dommikry Really? Well it might be cause I heard this one first before the studio one and that might bias me, but I love the faster version.
KEXP mixing is notoriously dank af
that is the KEXP effect, god knows how many groups i found on KEXP and loved them, but their albums dont cut it for me. it's probably because their mostly indie bands playing on KEXP'S shit hot set up. if i were in a new band KEXP would be my first port of call.
I saw them last night and yeah, I can attest that this band sounds even BIGGER live. Absolutely incredible how in sink all of them are together.

Very accurate description these dudes are definitely disciples of the rock n roll, and definitely of the dark and heavy flavor. Been on rotation and been my mood for the last week now.

I came across your band thanks to this very video, it's been the biggest blast I had in my life so far.
This is, without any doubts the best live session I've heard/seen so far from a radio, the sound is pure ectasy to listen to with a headset.
To the good folks of KEXP, you have my whole admiration. every single of your hosts is absolutely charming with their guests.

I wish this was in 4 quarter screens so I could watch Robby's expressions the whole time.
ATW came to Toronto in the winter and barely made it to the venue. All of them were beaten down by colds and Robby had a stomach bug that had him throwing up multiple times throughout the show. Despite all of that, they put on a killer show and sounded amazing. Go see these guys if they ever play a show near you, you won't be disappointed.

Finally! these dudes have been my favorite band for a couple of years now , so fucking talented!
boddisburgers if ya check iTunes, they have a live album called Live at the Garage, which is in my hometown of Winston-Salem, NC. they were practically a house band there when they released their first two albums, so I got to see them pretty often. I met the guitarist Ben McLeod because a friend of mine played in a band at the garage (ATW actually mentions my friend's band, tusker, in the 2nd track of the live album.) definitely worth checking out the album if you like these guys

WOW!! Can't believe I just found these guys. Ever since the early 90's I've been looking for a great band. Found several good ones, but ATW are the best I've seen. Was listening to one of their albums and thought, how are they making these sounds. I found this KEXP show, now I know! Mix of Doors, Floyd , and Sabbath. Unique sound I've never heard. They are from Nashville, so I'll be going to see them. Already ordered 3 CD'S. Thanks, KEXP for recording this! Best job I'll seen from a radio station.

I put it on In The shower. I was so enthralled I just sat on the tub floor and listened to the whole show! Then got clean! My girlfriend is wondering what the fuck I’m doing, LOL! I told her my life just got better!

They have their own thing going on, yet the sound of each album is different. Super rare nowadays. This is the first time since i was a kid that i have found a band or an artist i'm excited about!
@@14AspenDrive I personally think they are the best band creating music today. Such an unbelievably diverse range in their discography, and it’s all incredible. Everything they have put out has been fantastic and each member exhibits some excellent musicianship. I can’t stop recommending them to people any chance I get lol

haha i remember listening to Our Mother Electricity on SMOD thinking "eh, it's okay i guess" then being absolutely blown away by Lightning At The Door, it's insane how far these guys have come and they absolutely deserve it, they're insanely talented.
Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a bad ATW performance. This one is especially awesome. I swear it's better than their studio album releases. I love this rendition of Talisman; it's perfection.
Ive watched this thing a hundred times and find it better also.
