    I like when you do comparisons of 3 products on the same car in real world situations.
    I agree that quick beads is a really slick product. I too have noticed it struggles on lower panels ( I rinse from bottom up).
    White vehicles are the worst to get great footage. I just did a white work van that looked amazing in person but on camera it didn’t look like I did anything to it.

    Great comparison. I started with Wetcoat and then went to HydroLite and never looked back. Wetcoat didn't last as long and bead as well as HL on coated and non coated cars. I haven't tried Quickbeads, but I'll be surprised if it outperforms HL.

    I use wet coat on my wheels and hydro2lite on my paint. Haven’t tried quick beads yet, but will give it a try in the near future 👍 as far as durability I’m getting maybe a month on my daily driver. This of course is driving through a couple rain storms etc etc. but as others have stated, these products are very easy to reapply so it’s not an issue. Thanks as always for the vid.

    Hay man, a great vid as usual, I like that you often pick Gyeon and DIY lineups to test with other ones, I really like those brands, I wonder since you often use DIY Coatings how's the durability on them? Wich one u like best? The 3,5,8 year?

    • @Detailing_Dogma
      @Detailing_Dogma  3 місяці тому +1

      Hey Victor, glad you like the content. For DIY Coatings I have the 8 year but havent played with it yet. The 3 and 5 are very easy to apply, like a breeze, they all apply in the same fashion pretty much, maybe 3 year is slighty easier to avoid high spots but dont quote me on that. I have not applied them on my personal cars so I cant vouch for their durability yet. As far as the durability we'll have a test and comparison soon on the channel but we'll have to wait months to see who's doing better since im not going to throw chemicals at them but rather install coatings on a daily driver. Cheers

      @@Detailing_Dogma Wow thank you very much for a detailed run down on the coatings and their application, and taking your time to anwser me, i really appreciate it! Most channels don't anwser at all or just write simple and super short without going into detail (wich is super important sometimes), your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I would like to apply ,,the 8-3 stack", but it's not good price wise in my country (Poland) its over 350 Canadian dolars (for the two 3 and 8 yr), when Mohs or
      other coatings are around 120. I've heard good things about the ease of use of DIY coatings and their performance, i think ill try the 3 or 5 year on my daily beaten Toyota CHR, my BMW garage king has Mohs topped with Cancoat now. About the durability test i completely agree, throwing chemicals at a coating don't say much about it, only real world test!

    • @Detailing_Dogma
      @Detailing_Dogma  3 місяці тому +1

      @@victoryensured7137 Hey, your post just answered my question about where you are from 😂. I'd say go with a simple coating, the DIY 3 or MOHS are good, DIY is probably easier and faster to apply though. I've done a lot of MOHS evo in the past it's good robust stuff. But yeah keep it simple I'd say i just applied Pure EVO on my hood after the touch ups about 1 month ago and a bird poo already stained it, I've to sand and compound that area, I had to leave the car outside for about 8 hours, the bird dropping baked in the sun, it's etched. This is why I dont think its always worth it to go with the most durable stuff. Like happens we have to redo coating all the time. And thank you for your appreciation my friend, I work my audience im here for you.

    • @victoryensured7137

      @@Detailing_Dogma A VERY valid point about redoing a spot and the durability, man i hate two things - water spots and bird bombs, they add SOO much work for me it's crazy and im not a pro - im just a prosumer let's say.. I have an etched bird poo spot on my roof of the Toyota and man i didn't see it for some time, it baked and i think i need to sand it too, its not even an outline etching - its a WHOLE POO (with the white residue) that is etched, it feels like sandpaper when i run my hand over it, i fear it might be down to primer - and it's over freshly applied Cancoat Evo, i feel your pain. I love ,,smaller" chanels like yours :)

    all these spray n rinse products are terrible and are waste. they don't last. Just use a ceramic detail spray as a drying aide knock out 2 steps in one. no need to re coat car with half a bottle of product and then rinse product onto the floor down the drain lol. I'm a detailer. there's no bigger gimmick than this stuff. don't be lazy don't waste product which is exactly what you do with spray n rinse stuff you have to dry the car anyway just use any ceramic spray on the wet paint and then dry with drying towel.

      Hey Stephen I mostly agree, thank you for the feedback btw. They still have their place for a quick sealant and then blow off with a blower, you can touch up with a towel slighty and good to go.
