That's really what this is all about... Not going to Church, not tithing or giving to the poor, or any type of religion, or even being a good person... All that comes with Him; But really it's just, you and your Savior having this deep, intimate relationship with each other. And a relationship with your Heavenly Dad that, loves you in a way no one else could.
I’m struggling so hard right now. I’m leaning towards quitting, and the more I think about it the more it seems like the way to go. But I know deep down, that’s not what I want to do. I have to put more effort into my relationship with god and being righteous. Please, if you read this pray for me. Let’s stay strong everyone 💪
i've been down the road you're going and i can say with confidence that once you quit, you will feel empty. incomplete, and lost. like you're going the wrong way. none of the times you have away from God will compare to the times you have with God. it'll feel bland. don't quit, you'll see the truth his way, and the reason behind everything you've gone through once your faith has been strengthened and you have no doubt left. my brother i promise you it's worth it, more than anything else, He loves you more than you could ever imagine. and i mean that with 1000% sincerity. more than you could EVER imagine. don't you give up.

Was on my knees last night telling God about how low and rotten I feel. Each time I sin it’s harder to go back to him, especially when I’ve asked for forgiveness from the same sin countless times. I’ve turned my back on him more times than I can count and I know my walk with him has been rocky for a while now. I truly believe this video was personally sent to me from God. Even in the times I feel like the most sinful man in the world, He never leaves. Lord, please walk with me, help me to fix and change the things I can, and please take the things that I can’t. May we all be reminded that faith isn’t a feeling, and that feelings are temporary and fleeting. May all of our faith’s flourish, and may we all have more and more communion with you, the lover of our souls. In Jesus’ name, amen.

After I left Islam at 14 years old, I considered myself an Atheist for 7 years. During that time I experimented with different nonsensical beliefs like Buddhism and even New Age, but God saved me before I got in too deep (halleluyah). Now I'm 28, I've been a Christian for 7 years but I still find myself going back and forth between God and this stupid world. Social media plants doubts in my head and I keep struggling every minute of my life not to lose my faith again. Today I managed to start reading my Bible again, and I hope I won't stray from it again. If you're struggling, please know that you're not alone. And if my future self is reading this and watching this video again: Please don't forget how far God has brought you and how many times He welcomed you back with open arms. @@chokispokis Thanks for asking. She believes in God as we read the Bible, pray frequently and talk about Him often. Like everyone she struggles with faith at times, thinking He may do miracles, just not for me. Her struggle is more with the world, and she doesn’t understand why people do what they do, and she can be socially awkward which people respond in a way that makes her feel alone. I explain to her that God is our constant. That Jesus died for each one of us, and that in Heaven we will be so full of bliss and joy 24/7….for eternity…and that God loves her more than we can fathom. That makes her feel good, because she is so lonely in this world (outside of her family life.) Hope my explanation makes sense.

For the past two days I’ve been feeling so far from God. I backslid into past sins he has delivered me from. I’ve been ashamed but been trying to get back up. I’ve been praying for Him to change my heart posture and to bring me back to him. To send me anything that will help me out and this video popped up. Started to tear up…God is always listening and loves you.

I've been going through a really difficult time lately, with broken relationships and setbacks in my career. Honestly, it feels like I'm lost in the dark. But even though my heart feels heavy, I haven't given up hope. I'm determined to find my way back to the light and start fresh tomorrow. This is my promise to myself, and I'm going to do everything I can to keep it.
Once I sent an Email to Beggar saying all I was feeling about my faith on that time. It was hard because I had doubts, but writing that helped me a bit. I didn't give up and I think that my faith is stronger now. Wow. One thing I notice is that I am really affected (in a positive, spirit-opening kind of way) by your graphic representations of God and God's love. Maybe the images are a reminder of something I deeply know but routinely somehow forget. Being a forgetful human can be...a bit frustrating. I appreciate all the ways that God finds (one being through these videos) to help each of us remember how to get closer. Thank you for the beautiful/powerful work you put into the world. Hi guys, I just want to say that don’t compare your relationship with God to others’. It will make you want to rush things and He will want you to slow down. Maybe your relationship with God seems different from your friend’s relationship with God. I’m still young but I know this from experience. Don’t try to be like the Christian UA-camrs you see. God has a plan for you and you just have to be patient. Some may have a relationship with God that is more religious, some more personal. Either is fine as long as it is intimate. Don’t beat yourself down when you sin, Jesus doesn’t condemn you, so why should you? Also this might be a bit random but I’m very afraid of heights. To the point where I was afraid to go jumping of a diving board that wasn’t high. But my school has these trips where we do a lot of adventure stuff and one of them was zip lining. Over a river. Naturally, I was afraid. But I started praying like crazy. At some point out loud (my school isn’t a Christian school so it’s not easy to find someone praying out loud). But guys, I did it. Yes I was screaming while I was doing it but after my whole body started to shake. I was thinking to myself that I can’t believe that I just did that. Jesus is bigger than your fears, your insecurities, and your struggles. He is all that you need. I hope this helped. May God bless you all. Amen.
Your experience with hights reminds me of when God showed just a small bit of his power to me when I was in school. My computer wasn't working and after a little I just said " by the grace of God" and I tuned on. God bless you all my you all be changed by the word of christ and come to know him.
I'm glad faith isn't based on feelings, I always feel left out in church seeing everyone around me expressing so much emotion. I sometimes wonder if I'm just fooling myself thinking I'm really a Christian. Though I have faith that I am, because when I try to witness to people and they don't listen or change; I realize I take for granted that I know and believe. I am reminded that I was drawn to God by his spirit, and I don't have to depend on feelings to confirm that. I don't want to think that others are only based on feelings only, but I can be sure that my feelings will not pull me away from God if those feelings are not what I rely on in the first place. I sometimes would just want to feel what comes with fellowship with other believers, because sometimes I feel like I really lack that, even when I'm in church. I need others to pray that I'll find that fellowship or at least be content with what I already have.
I get the same way at times, God has a plan for us all and I trust in that because I know I’ve already made the choice to say yes to Him. I’m also looking for fellowship with other believers and still don’t even have a church I’m attending, but I know God will help me find one. Just stay faithful and trust that He will lead you to the right people or show you that what you already have is good 🙏❤️ God bless and much love my friend
It's like a everything in live, sometimes you 1. have to decide to plant a seed. 2. you have to pour water over it day by day without results. 3. "Wow, there is something" 4. You get a strong tribe which has taken roots 5. It starts to get stronger and more beautiful 6. You can see some small fruits coming out of your wonderful work, patience and believe 7. Congrats you are getting all the sweet fruits of your effort! But at that point you already fell in love with the relationship and holding that tree alive, you get tons of rewards but they are not the focus anymore. (That was something Jesus told me in one of my praiers) Thanks to our Lord and love to all of you brothers and sisters ♥

You are doing the greatest videos on catholic faith I know, I needed this video so bad. When you said read scripture, I took my bible, just opened it up, and landed on Ezekiel 34 “The good shepherd”, this just really confirmed something. I’m just getting back into my faith after a really tough and extremely sinful relationship with my first girlfriend. Im struggling with faith constantly. Sometimes it feels like I just desperately want to believe but my heart is not there, sometimes I feel like an impostor. Sometimes when I go to church for mass, it feels like I don’t belong there. I just got back into Christianity like 2 years ago and sometimes when I talk to people who stayed with the church I feel like I can’t relate to them and they can’t relate to me. They’ve just never had those same doubts and questions that I have. I just feel like I’m scamming myself sometimes and that I don’t belong. And it’s hard to unite the beliefs of Christianity with my other beliefs. I just feel lost and out of place
I know how it feels. In one word, deeply discouraging. Learn from the Saints and from Scriptures first, yet keep your hearth and ears always open. Sieve all and keep that Wich is proven. Ask for discernment and always trust the Lord and our Lady more than you would trusth yourself. Let the Lord be thy intelligence and light. To the others you give first instead of taking. Deep Doubts are a singular cross to carry, as well as to be lonely amidst a multitude. But consider well: if no one understands the hearth, the Lord does. Talk to Him and things will happen. Every sorrow is an opportunity at hand. Yet who knows the ways of the Lord? Be ready, therefore. God bless.

It's easy. Just turn your brain off and believe whatever thia guy says. You'll feel much better. The truth is seldom comforting. That is why it is so impopular. I know I would very much prefer to believe everything will turn out OK in the end. The problem is that there is no sane reason to believe that.
My deconversion was very painful. When I finally accepted that there was no after life or God I was devastated. My first thought was "I will never see my Dad again". Heartbreaking. However, there was an upside I had not anticipated. I no longer expend energy trying to convince myself of something that makes no sense. The drop in cognitive dissonance has reduced my anxiety dramatically. I have a much healthier attitude toward life and death as an atheist than I did as a Christian. I’ve seen this video on my home page for a couple of days now- kept ignoring it because I’ve been feeling guilty that I question God’s presence in my life. Finally clicked on it because it seemed like He kept presenting the opportunity and wow. I’ve been a Roman Catholic all my life. I’ve always believed. There was one experience that has always stuck with me, a clear showcase of God showing me His grace. I was at a XCountry meet, and I was told that I was supposed to follow the arrows through the forest path. What I didn’t know is that there were 2 arrow colors, and I followed the wrong path that was there for an upcoming High School meet (I was in middle school at the time). I was scared. I couldn’t see anyone. Off in the distance I heard cheers as the fastest were finishing. Usually there were a couple people I’d be around. But I was alone. Again, I was scared. So I prayed, and prayed hard. And after a minute or so, a couple runners came up from behind me, and showed me a way through the forest that spit me out right back on the Middle School track. And right as they left a couple of runners that I knew came up behind me and we ran and talked all the way to the finish. This was the most powerful experience I ever had, as there was no other explanation, it was all too perfect. TLDR: I experienced God in a XCountry meet where I put all my faith in him, to help me when I needed him most.

God works in such marvelous ways! I've had a relationship with God since 2012 and have only within the last 5 months started learning about Jesus and became a Christian. I've been feeling like a fraud because I don't feel the presence of Jesus like I do with God and have been trying to figure out how to fix that. This morning as soon as I woke up, lying in bed, I realized that I love Jesus anyway, and maybe I will begin to feel His presence in my life like I do with the Father, or maybe not. And if not, that's okay because I still love Him and I know that He is always with me regardless. A few hours after this realization, I find this video and you say exactly the same thing! This has ipened my mind. I have no idea how much it did, but I know. At first, i though my self an atheist, but I came to the conclusion that I'm not. Someone who is really an atheist is not afraid of committing blasphemy, but I am. Someone who is afraid of committing blasphemy cannot be atheist. My problem is the doubt. Doubt complicates everything. Makes what is simple become complicate. I just want to cast away all doubts, without needing concrete proof and say YES! I know that, even tho I'm a man of little faith, God is watching me, helping me, even if the process is painful or difficult. I need to find a way to silence the doubts and simply believe. Without a how, why, who. God is much bigger than that. God simply IS! Period. He is beyond a how, who, what, why. All that means nothing, because God simply is.

I really need prayer. I really need this video right now. I'm very much struggling with my faith, and trust in God, and in life in general at the moment. In fact, I feel very Atheistic currently. As if he doesn't exist or even care at all. I don't have the joy people say that come with being a Christian. And more so, lately I've had raging hate and resentment toward God and a few select others...all for good reasons. Yes, I struggle with faith right now and I don't need people telling me the generic answers that I already know. (Read the bible, pray, spend time with God, blah blah blah). I need God's intervention and real help. I need real unjudgemental, unconditional loving humans from the hand of God. And prayer. This note is my cry for help and my prayer. I am 11 years old born into an atheist household and I am still trying to find my way through this life, world and religion. Jesus hasn’t found me yet but I feel like there is a thin glass between us. Like I’m so close to him but not yet protected nor accepted by him. I was agnostic for about 10-11 years, and after turning my back on god, going through so much and finding who i am again, and then realizing it was all god. I feel like the faith I give him is half-baked since I turned my back on him. Sure I follow the teachings now, and I pursue the action to make my world and the world around me better through the goodness and kindness I have learned through my journey/battles. How do I feel like I'm giving god 100% of me again? It just feels fake if I give god everything since I turned my back on him. I cant really put it into words, I hope someone understands.

I think you have come to realize that forginess is something far more deep reaching than simply forgetting. God's goodness is beyond human full apprehension. The simplest proof of that is that He can forgive. We, on our own turn, are unforgiving. Forgiveness is life bringing and life changing. And that is a miracle. Ask for that miracle and see what happens. Only get yourself ready, for it may be though, very though.

You are as bound to God as the thoughts in your head are bound to you. God is the cradle, the guarantor of the laws that govern our entire reality. That reality is equal to 0, but not undefined for that would mean it doesn't exist. God on the other hand is equal to or greater than infinity. A being IMPOSSIBLE for our finite & valueless minds to comprehend. So I don't get this thing of trying to get close to God or feeling like you have drifted from God. You are forever as close to God as you can ever be! Rambling over. I may not be religious but God is the one force I can NEVER reject!

That's really what this is all about... Not going to Church, not tithing or giving to the poor, or any type of religion, or even being a good person... All that comes with Him; But really it's just, you and your Savior having this deep, intimate relationship with each other. And a relationship with your Heavenly Dad that, loves you in a way no one else could.

i've been down the road you're going and i can say with confidence that once you quit, you will feel empty. incomplete, and lost. like you're going the wrong way. none of the times you have away from God will compare to the times you have with God. it'll feel bland. don't quit, you'll see the truth his way, and the reason behind everything you've gone through once your faith has been strengthened and you have no doubt left. my brother i promise you it's worth it, more than anything else, He loves you more than you could ever imagine. and i mean that with 1000% sincerity. more than you could EVER imagine. don't you give up.

Was on my knees last night telling God about how low and rotten I feel. Each time I sin it’s harder to go back to him, especially when I’ve asked for forgiveness from the same sin countless times. I’ve turned my back on him more times than I can count and I know my walk with him has been rocky for a while now. I truly believe this video was personally sent to me from God. Even in the times I feel like the most sinful man in the world, He never leaves. Lord, please walk with me, help me to fix and change the things I can, and please take the things that I can’t. May we all be reminded that faith isn’t a feeling, and that feelings are temporary and fleeting. May all of our faith’s flourish, and may we all have more and more communion with you, the lover of our souls. In Jesus’ name, amen.

After I left Islam at 14 years old, I considered myself an Atheist for 7 years. During that time I experimented with different nonsensical beliefs like Buddhism and even New Age, but God saved me before I got in too deep (halleluyah). Now I'm 28, I've been a Christian for 7 years but I still find myself going back and forth between God and this stupid world. Social media plants doubts in my head and I keep struggling every minute of my life not to lose my faith again. Today I managed to start reading my Bible again, and I hope I won't stray from it again. If you're struggling, please know that you're not alone. And if my future self is reading this and watching this video again: Please don't forget how far God has brought you and how many times He welcomed you back with open arms. @@chokispokis Thanks for asking. She believes in God as we read the Bible, pray frequently and talk about Him often. Like everyone she struggles with faith at times, thinking He may do miracles, just not for me. Her struggle is more with the world, and she doesn’t understand why people do what they do, and she can be socially awkward which people respond in a way that makes her feel alone. I explain to her that God is our constant. That Jesus died for each one of us, and that in Heaven we will be so full of bliss and joy 24/7….for eternity…and that God loves her more than we can fathom. That makes her feel good, because she is so lonely in this world (outside of her family life.) Hope my explanation makes sense.

For the past two days I’ve been feeling so far from God. I backslid into past sins he has delivered me from. I’ve been ashamed but been trying to get back up. I’ve been praying for Him to change my heart posture and to bring me back to him. To send me anything that will help me out and this video popped up. Started to tear up…God is always listening and loves you.

I've been going through a really difficult time lately, with broken relationships and setbacks in my career. Honestly, it feels like I'm lost in the dark. But even though my heart feels heavy, I haven't given up hope. I'm determined to find my way back to the light and start fresh tomorrow. Once I sent an Email to Beggar saying all I was feeling about my faith on that time. It was hard because I had doubts, but writing that helped me a bit. I didn't give up and I think that my faith is stronger now. Wow. One thing I notice is that I am really affected (in a positive, spirit-opening kind of way) by your graphic representations of God and God's love. Maybe the images are a reminder of something I deeply know but routinely somehow forget. Being a forgetful human can be...a bit frustrating. I appreciate all the ways that God finds (one being through these videos) to help each of us remember how to get closer. Thank you for the beautiful/powerful work you put into the world. Hi guys, I just want to say that don’t compare your relationship with God to others’. It will make you want to rush things and He will want you to slow down. Maybe your relationship with God seems different from your friend’s relationship with God. I’m still young but I know this from experience. Don’t try to be like the Christian UA-camrs you see. God has a plan for you and you just have to be patient. Some may have a relationship with God that is more religious, some more personal. Either is fine as long as it is intimate. Don’t beat yourself down when you sin, Jesus doesn’t condemn you, so why should you? Also this might be a bit random but I’m very afraid of heights. To the point where I was afraid to go jumping of a diving board that wasn’t high. But my school has these trips where we do a lot of adventure stuff and one of them was zip lining. Over a river. Naturally, I was afraid. But I started praying like crazy. At some point out loud (my school isn’t a Christian school so it’s not easy to find someone praying out loud). But guys, I did it. Yes I was screaming while I was doing it but after my whole body started to shake. I was thinking to myself that I can’t believe that I just did that. Jesus is bigger than your fears, your insecurities, and your struggles. He is all that you need. I hope this helped. May God bless you all. Amen.
Your experience with hights reminds me of when God showed just a small bit of his power to me when I was in school. My computer wasn't working and after a little I just said " by the grace of God" and I tuned on. God bless you all my you all be changed by the word of christ and come to know him.
I'm glad faith isn't based on feelings, I always feel left out in church seeing everyone around me expressing so much emotion. I sometimes wonder if I'm just fooling myself thinking I'm really a Christian. Though I have faith that I am, because when I try to witness to people and they don't listen or change; I realize I take for granted that I know and believe. I am reminded that I was drawn to God by his spirit, and I don't have to depend on feelings to confirm that. I don't want to think that others are only based on feelings only, but I can be sure that my feelings will not pull me away from God if those feelings are not what I rely on in the first place. I sometimes would just want to feel what comes with fellowship with other believers, because sometimes I feel like I really lack that, even when I'm in church. I need others to pray that I'll find that fellowship or at least be content with what I already have.
I get the same way at times, God has a plan for us all and I trust in that because I know I’ve already made the choice to say yes to Him. I’m also looking for fellowship with other believers and still don’t even have a church I’m attending, but I know God will help me find one. Just stay faithful and trust that He will lead you to the right people or show you that what you already have is good 🙏❤️ God bless and much love my friend

1. have to decide to plant a seed.
2. you have to pour water over it day by day without results.
3. "Wow, there is something"
4. You get a strong tribe which has taken roots
5. It starts to get stronger and more beautiful
6. You can see some small fruits coming out of your wonderful work, patience and believe
7. Congrats you are getting all the sweet fruits of your effort! But at that point you already fell in love with the relationship and holding that tree alive, you get tons of rewards but they are not the focus anymore.

I'm sorry for the hard time you've endured. No clue if the months passing by have aided you, but I pray it has. I pray you walk with God, and that you don't need to be better to go to God. God wants you to go to him, no doubt! Whatever sin, repent. Believe in Christ Jesus as God - The Father and Spirit will be known to you if you believe in Christ as Lord.
Whatever worry, give to him. The answers may not be clear on where you go from here, but nonetheless, God will show you.
You are doing the greatest videos on catholic faith I know, I needed this video so bad. When you said read scripture, I took my bible, just opened it up, and landed on Ezekiel 34 “The good shepherd”, this just really confirmed something. I’m just getting back into my faith after a really tough and extremely sinful relationship with my first girlfriend.
But I know God saved me from further sin and from this relationship going on, but I try to go to church almost every day

Im struggling with faith constantly. Sometimes it feels like I just desperately want to believe but my heart is not there, sometimes I feel like an impostor. Sometimes when I go to church for mass, it feels like I don’t belong there. I just got back into Christianity like 2 years ago and sometimes when I talk to people who stayed with the church I feel like I can’t relate to them and they can’t relate to me. They’ve just never had those same doubts and questions that I have. I just feel like I’m scamming myself sometimes and that I don’t belong. And it’s hard to unite the beliefs of Christianity with my other beliefs. I just feel lost and out of place
I know how it feels. In one word, deeply discouraging. Learn from the Saints and from Scriptures first, yet keep your hearth and ears always open. Sieve all and keep that Wich is proven. Ask for discernment and always trust the Lord and our Lady more than you would trusth yourself. Let the Lord be thy intelligence and light. To the others you give first instead of taking. Deep Doubts are a singular cross to carry, as well as to be lonely amidst a multitude. But consider well: if no one understands the hearth, the Lord does. Talk to Him and things will happen. Every sorrow is an opportunity at hand. Yet who knows the ways of the Lord? Be ready, therefore. God bless.

The problem is that there is no sane reason to believe that.
My deconversion was very painful. When I finally accepted that there was no after life or God I was devastated. My first thought was "I will never see my Dad again". Heartbreaking. However, there was an upside I had not anticipated. I no longer expend energy trying to convince myself of something that makes no sense. The drop in cognitive dissonance has reduced my anxiety dramatically. I have a much healthier attitude toward life and death as an atheist than I did as a Christian. I’ve been a Roman Catholic all my life. I’ve always believed. There was one experience that has always stuck with me, a clear showcase of God showing me His grace. I was at a XCountry meet, and I was told that I was supposed to follow the arrows through the forest path. What I didn’t know is that there were 2 arrow colors, and I followed the wrong path that was there for an upcoming High School meet (I was in middle school at the time). I was scared. I couldn’t see anyone. Off in the distance I heard cheers as the fastest were finishing. Usually there were a couple people I’d be around. But I was alone. Again, I was scared. So I prayed, and prayed hard. And after a minute or so, a couple runners came up from behind me, and showed me a way through the forest that spit me out right back on the Middle School track. And right as they left a couple of runners that I knew came up behind me and we ran and talked all the way to the finish. This was the most powerful experience I ever had, as there was no other explanation, it was all too perfect.
TLDR: I experienced God in a XCountry meet where I put all my faith in him, to help me when I needed him most.

God works in such marvelous ways! I've had a relationship with God since 2012 and have only within the last 5 months started learning about Jesus and became a Christian. I've been feeling like a fraud because I don't feel the presence of Jesus like I do with God and have been trying to figure out how to fix that. This morning as soon as I woke up, lying in bed, I realized that I love Jesus anyway, and maybe I will begin to feel His presence in my life like I do with the Father, or maybe not. And if not, that's okay because I still love Him and I know that He is always with me regardless. A few hours after this realization, I find this video and you say exactly the same thing! This has ipened my mind. I have no idea how much it did, but I know.
At first, i though my self an atheist, but I came to the conclusion that I'm not. Someone who is really an atheist is not afraid of committing blasphemy, but I am. Someone who is afraid of committing blasphemy cannot be atheist.
My problem is the doubt. Doubt complicates everything. Makes what is simple become complicate. I just want to cast away all doubts, without needing concrete proof and say YES! I know that, even tho I'm a man of little faith, God is watching me, helping me, even if the process is painful or difficult. I need to find a way to silence the doubts and simply believe. Without a how, why, who. God is much bigger than that. God simply IS! Period. He is beyond a how, who, what, why. All that means nothing, because God simply is.

That's a road I travel each day ....I repeat scripture I cry out and well the numbness is there the quiet ....the feeling of emptiness...then I find a video from imbeggar and something inside switched to God I believe help me with my unbelief but it takes action on my part....and a quiet seed of faith grows I realize He has been there all along amen thank you for your amazing videos that help me through times of struggle. I'm very much struggling with my faith, and trust in God, and in life in general at the moment.
In fact, I feel very Atheistic currently. As if he doesn't exist or even care at all. I don't have the joy people say that come with being a Christian.
And more so, lately I've had raging hate and resentment toward God and a few select others...all for good reasons.
Yes, I struggle with faith right now and I don't need people telling me the generic answers that I already know. (Read the bible, pray, spend time with God, blah blah blah).
I need God's intervention and real help.
I need real unjudgemental, unconditional loving humans from the hand of God. And prayer.

Jesus hasn’t found me yet but I feel like there is a thin glass between us. Like I’m so close to him but not yet protected nor accepted by him. I was agnostic for about 10-11 years, and after turning my back on god, going through so much and finding who i am again, and then realizing it was all god. I feel like the faith I give him is half-baked since I turned my back on him. Sure I follow the teachings now, and I pursue the action to make my world and the world around me better through the goodness and kindness I have learned through my journey/battles.
How do I feel like I'm giving god 100% of me again? It just feels fake if I give god everything since I turned my back on him. I cant really put it into words, I hope someone understands.

I think you have come to realize that forginess is something far more deep reaching than simply forgetting. God's goodness is beyond human full apprehension. The simplest proof of that is that He can forgive. We, on our own turn, are unforgiving. Forgiveness is life bringing and life changing. And that is a miracle. Ask for that miracle and see what happens. Only get yourself ready, for it may be though, very though.
Check out the prodigal son’s parable. Even if you leave God/lose faith, he’s waiting with open arms to welcome.

You are as bound to God as the thoughts in your head are bound to you. God is the cradle, the guarantor of the laws that govern our entire reality. That reality is equal to 0, but not undefined for that would mean it doesn't exist. God on the other hand is equal to or greater than infinity. A being IMPOSSIBLE for our finite & valueless minds to comprehend.
So I don't get this thing of trying to get close to God or feeling like you have drifted from God. You are forever as close to God as you can ever be!
