Hi, I'm a young teenager who is actually not christian. I accidentaly clicked on one of your videos after feeling a little lost and felling like I am on a wrong path and I do not regret wachting a fex more of you videos. I always thought that beleving in god was made for those who just need someone, like an imaginary figure to rely on but after hearing you my vision of things changed. I may not belive instantly in god but I am thinking of tring to take myself on a spiritual level. Thank you for your wise words and your fabulous videos. It helped me a lot finding myself. Hope I can discipline enough to find my way to your path and gods receval.
Keep going with your videos their the best!!!

This is the gospel of salvation thru the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
The problem is that we ALL are sinners (especially in our minds and hearts). We all are lustful, or greedy, or jealous, or envious, or selfish, or hold grudges, etc.
Those sins leave a filthy disgusting mark on our souls that is NOT erased by our good deeds. Every time we sin, we break God’s rules and rub more putrid sewage on our souls.
The problem is that WE can’t clean OURSELVES off. Good deeds don’t cancel out the stain of sin. No matter how kind, generous, and unselfish we are, we cannot “earn” our way into Heaven because we are covered in rotten putrefaction.
Compared to the pure sinless, holy glory of almighty God, how do we look? Disgusting, sinful, corrupt, dishonorable, disgraceful, UNWORTHY. We don’t deserve to be in his presence or to live in the unspoiled magnificent beauty of Heaven.
The problem is that our sin has consequences. And when we die, the price for our sin is eternal separation from God. But God knew this, and yet he loves us anyway and wants ALL of us to go to Heaven. So what is the solution?
Jesus basically volunteered to be punished in our place. He paid the price for our sins. That’s why he sacrificed himself and suffered and died on the cross for us: to save us. He was our scapegoat, our whipping boy.
But he did it so that all our sins (past, present & future) would be forgiven. He essentially bought our “ticket to Heaven”.
3 days after his death, he rose from the dead in a glorified body and showed he really was the Son of God and that if we trust in him, we too will have eternal life with him.
He then holds that ticket out to each of us saying “I love u. I died to save u. Please accept my free gift to u. Do u trust me?”
      God wants this from us:
      - To be humble before him.
      - To be thankful for Jesus sacrificing himself on the cross to pay the price for our sins.
      - To feel sorry for our sins.
      - To make a commitment to try to be more Christlike and stay away from sin.
      - To realize that he loves us and that we have immense value to him.
      - To accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
If we do that… Boom… We are saved!
The ticket to Heaven is ours!
Pretty cool. We can ALL get to Heaven NOT because of what WE DO but because of what JESUS DID. That is the good news of the gospel of salvation thru Christ. It boils down to Jesus saying “I love u. Please trust me”.
Does God want us to stop sinning? Of course. But he knows we are not perfect. Only Jesus was able to live the perfect sinless life. But, God wants us to keep trying. He really likes it when we keep making an honest effort. When we screw up, we need to be sorry and try harder next time…. That is the commitment God wants from us.
Once we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are no longer “dead”, we are no longer “lost”. God is just so happy we have come home, he smothers us with love. It’s almost like we can do no wrong. Sure, the closer we get to God’s pure holiness, the more we can see our own sinfulness. But God tells us “I don’t see your sin anymore. U have been washed clean. Welcome home!”

7:20 This is me. I've been a Christian my whole life, and I have assurance of my salvation, but my upbringing put very little focus on my spiritual being and needs. My environment changed a year ago and now I am surrounded by so many people who even if they don't live on that "highest floor," they've been there and it's marked them. I want so desperately the relationship with God that they have, but the ideas and ways almost feel foreign to me.
I think I write this more for myself than for the rest of the internet to see, but I do want to share that even in my struggles, doubts, and questions, I know that God is leading me towards Himself. Even though sometimes it feels like I don't believe it, I know it's true.
Stealing this quote from somewhere, but God doesn't write stories that He doesn't finish. My "making it" may never come, but it's His story, not mine.

We keep telling non-believers that they can't do good works, but they can.. but God only accepts holiness, which is only through Christ because His blood purifies. A UA-cam channel named MindShift made a video responding to this one. Just thought I would let you know. Your videos are really well made too. One issue I find with this video in-particular though is that there's a lot of assumptions being made about what each person wants, needs, or hungers for. Might edit this comment later if anything else sticks out to me but was an interesting video to watch regardless.

    • @mcgragor1
      @mcgragor1 8 місяців тому +2

Mindshift is very unreasonable with many of his points, he leaves no room for proper translation on biblical issues and thinks he has a bunch of gottchas. At best, he does a good job in some things showing how Christians do not live up to Christianity, but that doesn't make Christianity false, it simply highlights what many who say they are Christians may not be, many are weak in the faith, and many have bought into just what their Church believes, without studying it all out for themselves and so on.

      Cool story.

    • @mcgragor1
      @mcgragor1 8 місяців тому +1

@@joemiller7082 No not really. I think deconstructing from a fundamentalist view would be more accurate, Mindshift came from that and went all the way left, and like I said, much of what he says is unreasonable.
I cannot justify a molecules to man belief, I find it would take much more faith for me to believe in that, than we were created.
Everyone must rationalize to some degree. I think anyone who believes we are just animals, purposeless, is rationalizing to a much greater degree than someone who believes we are designed with purpose.
None of that proves Christianity. I like to separate the two. My belief in God does draw me toward the most evidenced faith, but if I were to find Christianity to be false, I'd still believe in Intelligent Design.

This video outlined every single point I’ve been aching over and praying about in my life FOR MONTHS. Every single thing, the desire to be truly wanted and loved, the carnal emptiness, the homesickness, EVERYTHING. These are all points I have only ever had the courage to tell Jesus, and even then I was so ashamed to do so because I thought I was beyond repair or deserved to live in pain. I saw all these other Christians on social media and wept because my life didn’t look like theirs, I didn’t have that LIGHT and I didn’t understand why. I’ve been ACTING for MONTHS because I thought I was the only one with this struggle (WHICH IS TO STUPID I KNOW). I could never put a name to my struggles until THIS VIDEO and I cried three times watching it. And even prayers that I prayed THIS MORNING WERE ADDRESSED HERE. WOW.

Honestly, I agreed with most of what you said up until the part about Jesus. That’s where it gets tricky. How can anyone possibly know that he is the only one that is right, out of all the other teachers? It sure would be nice and much easier if that were the case - I just feel like it’s a simple answer for a very challenging question. I think you’re right about it being incredibly challenging to go from intellectual to spiritual enlightenment. But there are a lot of assumptions one needs to begin making about the nature of God to assume they would send a savior to show us the way. It could be that, instead of hoping for something outside of life, maybe the point of this life is to experience this life itself, and accept it as it is.

IMBeggar, an year ago I was researching Christianity. I started watching your youtube channel and also reading on Faith, I even read the Bible. I started sexual retention, fasting and a few other practices that pushed me even more. As of now - I have accepted The Faith with my whole heart and it has been a bliss.
That has lead to a 180 degree turn in my life. My mood is almost always great, I am full of hope. My social life is better than ever, my career is going well and I encounter so much attention from women its almost paranormal. But I care little of that, I dont want ONS and the likes, I am now saving my love for my future wife and of course... for GOD.
A few days ago a friend of mine, while talking to me, looked at me with shock and said "you have amazing eyes, so bright". Yes. Thats Faith. It has changed me and you are part of the reason why. I hope your videos will light the spark in more people.

I hate to be the semantic person in the comments, but I just don’t hear anything that’s convincing in this.

No matter what sci-fi we tell ourselves to digest the scenario it all comes down to requiring an uncausable cause. Something outside of our realm.
Here’s a philosophy question for you.

I do my best to be morally correct because being immoral makes me feel terrible.
I also feel that these values are not gifts from god, but direct products of evolution and humankind. We have morals because it benefits others and increases the community's chances of survival, and our pursuit of truth is what made us superior to other animals.

God healed my foot in less than a minute from an ailment which didn’t heal for months. All I said, was in the name of Jesus, I pronounce you healed and it was healed. God is real. He loves you and wants to have relationship with you. He wants you to seek him diligently. I was once like you, a denier of God. I used to mock his existence yet at the same time, I’d wonder if he was or if there were gods. I could never be atheistic since my family and I had seen a demon like entity years prior. We don’t take drugs nor do we have mental diseases. Its eyes were flickering in and out. They were red. Its body was plasma like, moving like a flame yet it was black and translucent. It opened our house door, walked in and then disappeared. Hallucinations don’t open doors that have the top and bottom lock locked. Thus for years, even though I doubted God’s existence, I never crossed it off the table. I was and still am in love with physics and sought the answers to reality there. Learning about general relativity, quantum mechanics and so many other concepts yet something was missing. What created all of this wasn’t so clear. I was 99% against the idea of God and sought for the wisdom which was tangible. I didn’t worry myself deeply with wondering who or what made our universe since when I had tried to rationalise it, I realised that I couldn’t say whether it was just unconscious processes, God or gods that created it. Yet a part of me never stopped wondering about it or about what is after this life. I believed that there was no afterlife. That we just live and die. When people died, I didn’t cry since I rationalized that it was bound to happen and now they are nothingness for all eternity. I’d miss them but I wouldn’t cry since logically there was nothing I could do to change the outcome thus the outcome was concrete whether I liked it or not. Yet at night, part of me still wondered what that demon entity was so I’d say little prayers to say if you’re real, show yourself. I tried being rigorous so I ensured I wasn’t biased and read into different religions to try and make sense of what my family and I witnessed. This year was one of my darkest times in life. My mental state was no bueno so I started seeking more for the answers to life. I started reading deeply into the bible and saw that the things in it seemed most true out of all the religions. I remember my foot had an ailment and I tried to remedy it but nothing worked. So one day, I said in the name of Jesus, I pronounced you healed. I watched in disbelief as my ailment remedied itself on the spot. I was astonished. My mouth widened in shock. What kind of power is this? It was of supernatural origin. I tried to rationalise it but could find no natural explanation. That’s the day I stopped doubting in God’s existence. I realised that God is real and he’s coming again soon to make the earth brand new. If he’s real, then there is a heaven. An afterlife as he promised. I realised that my loved ones who believed in Christ weren’t crazy, deluded or lunatics. He’s real and he wants to have relationship with you. I am still growing in my relationship with God. It’s not easy to give up sin. The more I learn to be Godlike, the more I disdain sin. Lust becomes disgusting. Lust is the murder of a person’s personage. They become an object to the beholder. The person behind the body becomes secondary and the body is primary. This is not what God intends. God wants us to love. God loves me who still lust. His love is unconditional. He wants me to give it up so that I can love more purely. I also want to give it up and have made strives in doing so. My lustfulness has decreased since following God.
      1st Corinthians 4-7:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
I’m not perfect that’s why God sent his son Jesus to die for our sins. God is love but he is also just. In heaven, there is a legal code according to the scriptures. This is how the devil gained dominion over earth. He convinced Adam and Eve to become their own gods. This is how he wages war against God. He does it legally. God could erase Satan but if he erases him prematurely, then it’ll seem that God is unjust to the rest of the angels who can’t read minds and hearts like God can. God sees Satan is evil but the other angels can’t see the extent of Satan’s depraved mind. The bible says that Satan was perfect in all his ways until iniquity was found in him. It tells us that Satan became proud of his beauty and talent and sought to become his own god. Thus he started to make up his own rules and rebelled against God. The bible says that God will return after the mark of the beast crisis which is a moment in time when Satan is allowed to act out some of his most sinister agendas. This will show everyone that Satan is a lying manipulating psychopath who wants anarchy. Satan believes that we should all be able to govern ourselves. That we should all become gods and look at where that has led us. War and strife continually. Everyone making up their own moral code and enacting it the way they wish. Justifying their behaviours by saying I can make my own rules. Chaos is derived from this. Jesus came to die for our sins since the death of an innocent person who is apart of the Godhead would legally free us from the contract our foreparents made with Satan. Jesus payed for our sins so that our slate can be wiped clean. We’ve all sinned yet God loves us. He had to die since his law is just and never changes. Thus he paid our bail to save us. He cannot change his law since it is the moral code and a just judge doesn’t waive the penalty. Yet his love was so great that he died so that we may live. Since he didn’t sin, he had legal rights to resurrect and all who accept the bail and strive to become better can also have legal rights to eternal life. Eternal life was our human right till we gave it away and broke the moral law. God has granted us it back again. I still struggle with sins yet I pray to God to give me victory over sin. I’ve become a better person since following Christ. I know that you’ll be on the fence reading this but give God a try. He’s real and demons are real. God bless you🙏🏾.

@ As I briefly stated in my original comment, I'm perfectly fine with the way things are without a God. The earth is still turning, people are still being people. I can still experience joy as well as sadness. I can still do the things I love. I can still see the people I love. I'm perfectly fine with not having an eternal life, in fact, I would actually prefer it because my finite time on this earth is actually meaningful, whereas, if I did have eternal life, my time on earth would be meaningless compared to the billions of years spent toiling away in the sky. I'm not trying to attack those who believe in religion, nor do I see them as stupid in any way. I understand the psychological processes as well as the types of manipulation present in all religions. I know that it is a useful tool for those who are in need of emotional support. The only thing I ask of religious people is to not harm others for being different

IMBeggar's "wisdom" here is like that of the Bible itself. It was heady stuff in the iron age, before science and the enlightenment, but is on the same level as flat earth and slavery today, both supported by the Bible. In fact the fastest way to atheism today is to just read the parts of the Bible you don't get in church. That God is not all love and peace and truth. It's the most evil character in all of fiction. We don't need that God, or any wishful thinking, at all.

If humans aren’t spiritual, then everything is just matter and energy…
No such thing as good or evil because we are just blobs of matter walking around on a larger blob of matter in a sea of large blobs of matter. So then… do whatever you want because it doesn’t matter :).
I think we all know (or at least act) like something we do here is important. I’ve yet to meet someone who isn’t outraged at child abuse or murder. If we are all matter and energy, then killing someone or abusing a child isn’t wrong because we’re just matter and energy. Therefore we are all spiritual creatures because we believe in right and wrong.

I am not a Christian and I'm curious about one of the comments because I tend to hear this a lot. If you're committed to the belief that there absolutely MUST be something else that goes beyond this world and nothing can change that, then is it seriously possible to have a discussion with someone who doesn't think that on a level playing field? I ask because it doesn't seem to be the case for me.
The statement "there must be something more" is an immediate discussion ender (or thought-terminator as some other people call it). If a non-believer admits there is a possibility that something else out there (but isn't convinced of it), but the believer has an unshakeable acceptance that there MUST be, then the believer is admitting that it's impossible for a change in their perspective, compared to the unbeliever who admits that they could change their mind.
For me it just seems insincere for a believer to want to have a real conversation with people about faith if a believer has made up their mind already (something more MUST exist) and refuses to entertain the mere idea that that simply might not be the case.

I think coming from the Christian perspective it’s not so much the question of possibility but the battle of trying to have a relationship with Him.
The ideas of doubt and human curiosity is a situation that all believers have probably went through. But the important thing is putting the will of God into practice and maintaining a relationship with him.
So long as you maintain that relationship, you start to find peace.
But i think whether you are a believer or not both individuals want answers
You either search the world longing for the truth
Or realize the truth can’t be found here

When I think about having a relationship with my best friends or family, it's not a battle. Sometimes it takes a little effort, but it's never a battle. And that's with my absolute bestest of friends. Supposedly, God is even better than my best friend, so why would it be more difficult to have a relationship with Him than the people in my life? This did not come across as much of an invitation. It came across as a host of baseless assertions, starting with the one at 1:06 that everyone "resonates" with the idea that we are spiritual beings. That certainly doesn't resonate with me - I don't even know what "spiritual" is supposed to mean. As far as I can tell, the word "spiritual" is used as a placeholder for whatever woo a person wants to assert is true without providing any evidence. I am a physical being experiencing a physical existence, in a physical universe. I see no reason to think that anything other than the physical exists - certainly I've never seen evidence of anything non-physical. My advice for theists is that it's not helpful to just assert you know how non-theists feel or what we think - it's super condescending and comes across as unbearably arrogant.
