I got more of an asshole impression from him on stage last time I saw them (2018) compared to 2014, which was a better concert too, hands down one of the best shows I've been to. I think his life is just going downhill a bit probably, hope he gets better.

Josh is involved in a lot of projects but the most notable one is probably Them Crooked Vultures. Josh is the frontman in that band too, with John Paul Jones on bass and Dave Grohl on drums. So maybe you heard something by them? Josh has also produced Arctic Monkeys and the Iggy Pop album Post-Pop Depression, where he contributed a lot both in songwriting and also playing instruments on it.
