Man I'm so glad you discovered Queens I'm 50 I discovered that I'm a rock and roll guy too I discovered them way too late I always heard of them I just never gave him a chance and once I did I was hooked man rabbit hole rabbit hole The song is crazy you need to check out battery acid
💚💚💚💚💚💚 Josh homme is amazing. His rabbit hole is deep. Kyuss (my favorite), eagles of death metal, queens of the Stone Age, them crooked vultures, the dessert sessions, and (a minute in) screaming trees
Thank you!!! Queens of the Stone Age is my favorite band. You can tell they love playing this song because they dance around to it, especially Josh. Try “I Sat by the Ocean”, “The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret”, “Song for the Dead” or “Mexicola”.
The audio deliciousness of Misfit Love with Josh, Troy, Dean, Mikey and Joey C. Religiously Rightness. Queens Of The Stone Age is everything. It is the best TV show audio of this song. Any lineup this band is awesomeness.
Check out British duo Royal Blood (Mike Kerr bass and Ben Thatcher drums) New album Typhoons . An oldie but a goodie is on June 2015 on Howard Stern show performance of song Figure It Out. 👍
QOTSA = Queens of The Stone Age. And these guys are the shit!!! I have every album plus’s Kyuss and Them Crooked Vultures. Then redhead going off is Josh Homme and he’s a genius
Check out Iggy Pops album : Post Pop Depression...ft.Josh Homme & drummer from Artic Monkeys...also Artic Monkeys album Josh Homme produced & Desert Session's #9 recorded out JOSHUA TREE County or OC California....I think Josh Homme musical Tyrant...Unbelievably talented & just SHIT HOT !!!!!
A tangent band to check out is the supergroup Them Crooked Vultures. The band consists of Josh Homme (singer/guitar from this band Queens of the Stone Age), the great drummer David Grohl (of Nirvana/Foo Fighters fame), and fricken John Paul Jones (bad@$$ bassist and mulit-instrumentalist from Led Zeppelin)
This is a very special and developed taste. you have to love and listen to al lot off music to appreciate this. I have always felt like Queens of the stone age are very experimental and that they make music for themself and not there fans.
This video made my night. Thank you. Love QOTSA. maybe check out the band Kyuss, the lead singer was the guitarist in that band and both bands are amazing. Id reccomend listening to QotSAs studio tracks before the live ones, theres so much cool production going on in a lot of em, youd be missing out a bit if ya never heard it.
Queens of the Stone Age! These guys’ best lineup featured Dave Grohl on drums (who you might know as Nirvana’s drummer and the front man for Foo Fighters) and Mark Lanegan, the lead singer of Screaming Trees as a second vocalist. They do some amazing collaborations and they’ve done a huge range of sounds over the years. They have some pretty big hits in their catalog. I don’t know if you take any requests from the comment section, but I recommend “In the Fade” next.
Bro the fact you don't name-drop Nick Oliveri kinda upsets me - there is IMO no greater rock duo than Homme and Oliveri on lead & bass. I get that it wasn't meant to be forever (for reasons...), but those guys sharing a stage/studio was orgasmic. Kyuss/peak QOTSA had (literally) one thing in common.
@@onylra6265 I think Nick Oliveri probably contributed more to the greatness of Songs for the Deaf and Rated R than both of the guys I mentioned combined, but my comment is not addressed to Queens of the Stone Age or Kyuss fans, it is addressed to someone who is hearing QotSA for the first time and who knows who Nirvana and Foo Fighters are and who might have heard a Screaming Trees song on the radio at some point. I fully agree with you about Oliveri, and the chemistry between him and Homme is unreal, but I’m trying to sell new listeners on this band, and new listeners don’t know who Oliveri is.
@@davidn5269 Fair enough! Just trying to give some credit where it's due, no offense - Nick's often overlooked (when do bassists ever get any love?), but I agree that this this lineup is Godlike, and you can't look past him as part of it.
Josh Homme does change the line up in the group over the many years QotSA been D.Grohl ft on drums every now & then as QotSA are 1 of his fav bands. I remember 1st hearing these & instantly blown AWAY & they still do every listen to every album & fortunate to see live.....Great Great live band. Josh Homme does some other stuff in other bands & produce. Artic Monkeys,Iggy Pop...PJ Harvey etc there's 3 Greats right there....Apologies for the SPAM Teeze...I need alot much more self finger control...Thank-you
This is the first time I've seen this song performed live. I enjoyed it, but this is definitely one of those times that I wish someone would have just requested the album version. It feels like a lot was lost in this live version and the vocals were really hard to make out. If you do any more Queens of the Stone Age, "Go with the Flow" is their best official music video. I doubt that anyone is really going to contest that point. If you are looking to avoid the official channels and just check out songs, then pretty much anything anyone requests should be a good one.
@@elysehfm8797 When I said that I was specifically talking about the video itself. Nothing else comes close. Obviously people will have different preferences for songs. I'm assuming "Go with the Flow" got a higher video budget after the surprise success of "No One Knows" shortly before it came out. And I'm really not sure why the female perspective would dictate that the video is trash. It is sexual, but it isn't misogynistic or sexist.
Studio songs are much more clearer but this band live how they just nail it..vocals bit wonky donkey but u gotta admit...what a performance...watch actual UA-cam video..get your headphones on....Teeze volume was low...enjoy!!!
Also love Queens of The Stone Age "No One Knows" which you would LOVE (weird video), and "Go With The Flow." Banging songs. Actually, two weird videos....
@@andyv2209, I'm partial to No One Knows. Those drums.... Go With The Flow has NO contrast. Maybe a better video, especially from the male perspective, but No One Knows is far and away a better song. No contest.

@@andyv2209, both would be good, but Teez's plate is pretty full. Since Teez mentioned contrast, I'm sticking with No One Knows. It's a super exciting song. Maybe he should just cover the video on his side to enjoy the music.

Love that you went for a deeper cut from the band than most. But, this isn’t even the best live version of this song. I think that honour goes to Reading Festival 07. It’s absolutely wild.
These guys are SO worth the time investment. They are genius. So good. So hard. So dark!
