In this video, we take a look at some unique and uncommon train movements on Melbourne's Metro network. Mostly Metro Trains but also some Diesel Trains feature. No doubt the highlight of the video is an X’Trapolis Train making its way from the Down Sandringham Track at Richmond Junction to the Down Burnley Local Track. Hope you enjoy the video!
👍Excellent👍Super great nice Video!
A movement I've only seen once was trains using the crossover at Footscray p3 (now p5) to head back towards the suburbs. Happened during works years back.
Also around 99-00 caught a Sandringham from p14 at flinders, had to cross over the entire junction to arrive p2 Richmond
Wow. Amazing movements!
very cool vdo friend...wonderful footages....big like and greetings
Thanks!
Love the video just like always❤❤❤❤
Thanks!!
On HCMT lines the signals are supposed to be off, they only turn on for a non cab signaling train like freight or vline
Two questions: one, why did these unique movements even occur? And two, how do u find out about it so u can film it?
Various reasons and magic
@StrayaTrains magic 😭💀
I'm guessing u must have some connections with drivers or something
ok nice
👍
i saw the first one by coincidence! im guessing it’s running tests for the xtrap 2.0?
Just a track inspection. Nothing to do with X'Trap 2.0 :)
also i saw a railroad metro train on the cragieburn line
did you hear about the xtrap 2.0 at craigieburn depot?
Lol i did
is there one there?
What now?
No. What happened?
The XTrap 2.0s are being built and assembled in Ballarat not Craigieburn, it'll just be the mockup from the open days that's been transported to Craigieburn
How do you catch these?!
Magic
