In the restaurant, the dude that kicked Chris Tucker is Ken Lo. He's Jackie's former bodyguard turned co-star in a bunch of Jackie's movies. Check out Drunken Master 2 if you wanna see him in action.

I think to me what I know is that Chris was cancelled by the film industries and Hollywood and also producers said that Chris was too selective and he rejected many scripts which were presented to him and he was not a fun of and not aligning to his Christianic faith
@@giftmakoo4969 Chris Tucker isn’t cancelled, he just made a film last year. He rarely stars in movies because he’s fulfilling other commitments like traveling the world and doing comedy
That cute police lady is latina actress Elizabeth Pena. In the business a long time and a great actress. Sadly passed away 10 yrs ago at age 55. Best known for "La Bamba"(1987). My favorite role that she played was in the Christmas movie "Nothing Like the Holidays"(2008), one of my favorite Christmas movies. Worth a look for holiday season. RIP Elizabeth👑❤
As always J and Blank, thank you again for an amazing reaction to one of my favorite comedies. I also wanted to thank J, Blank and the entire EOM Family for their support, prayers and kind words to me after the loss of my mother. I’m thankful for all of you. Nothing but love and respect!
Firearms instructor here. C4 is extremely stable, shooting it will not set it off. That is a trope from movies and video games, like pulling the pin on a grenade with your teeth. In reality, C4 only really detonates from a detonator (obviously) or if it's been daisy chained together with something like det cord. The scene in the opening is still funny as hell, Michael Jackson even called Chris Tucker and chewed him out for getting the kick wrong. But if you want to see a movie that gets plastique explosive correct, Tremors 2. Because they actually did blow up a building with plastique explosive for that film.
I went to Automotive school and in the Electrical 101 class they told us what you said about C4. No c4 explosion in a movie has ever been the same for me. Gonna have to check out Tremors 2!
@@silence3314 Typically movies show a big fireball when C4 explodes as well, which isn't how C4 works either. The giant fireball is there for entertainment and showmanship. Not the case in Tremors 2. there's obviously plot reasons to make it happen (as you said) but now I'm wondering , is there some other explosive that would behave the way hollywood likes to pretend c4 behaves that they could have made popular instead? or would they have inevitably had to make up rules about something
Rush hour is one of my favorite comedy/action movie series of all time. Absolutely hilarious. Whoever had the idea to put Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan together should have won an Oscar

What a fantastic dedication at the end man, you have a shitload of humanity in your soul, deepest respect. I took care of my granny for 5 years, she lived with us, and she and i had a different kind of bond and I'm so incredibly thankful for the time I had with her, she passed years ago and I know it's not the same as a parent, but that shit still hurts. As a gay man with a religious family, it had always been so terrifying to consider coming out to them, but not a single family member thought less, she was born in 1923, and I was petrified of what she would do when finding out... But she was absolutely no different at all, took her to so many dr appointments when she lived with us, our senses of humor clicked so wonderfully, just wanted to add my own dedication here, love that woman and miss her terribly, my deepest sympathy for the ones who lost their parents.
This was a great watch! The movie, and you sir, had me cracking up! Rush hour was one of my favorite movies growing up! totally recommend more Jackie Chan movies like Rumble in the Bronx!

The little girl in the car is singing to Mariah Carey fantasy is hilarious my mom laughed when she saw the look on the two guys faces. Man I ❤️ that song so much.😆
At the end when Chris was flirting with the airline employee I was waiting for him to say "shooters shoot" and he didn't 😂.... I watch this channel way too much anticipating catch phrases
3 parts of this movie that really make me crack up laughing are: 1. When Carter starts dancing like Michael Jackson in the middle of the street after blowing the car up (Real life C4 is NOWHERE near that volatile) 2. When Lee and Carter are bonding and practicing disarming techniques while Edwin Starr's song "War" plays in the background 3. When Carter says "I know that ain't the bomb. Get that bomb away from me." towards the end.
And trust me, the blooper reels for the remaining two movies are just as funny when it comes to the slip-ups with the dialogue. Also, RIP to Elizabeth Peña (Johnson), Chris Penn (Clive Cod), Phillip Baker Hall (Police Captain William Diel) and Tom Wilkinson (Jun Tao)

Agreed! I don't think I've ever laughed so much at the part at 28:40 where Carter tries to pronounce "Ta shi jing cha" (他是警察 - "he's a cop") 😂😂
The chemistry is real. These two became best buds after this movie.
