wtf this is one of the funniest movies ever I’m shocked people are reacting to it. That’s amazing
I heard after all these years. Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence has another movie together that’s set to come out sometime next year.
Great reaction 👍🏽
Yall just watched a movie full of legendary comedians and actors 🔥🔥
Spanky is the Legendary RICK JAMES!
He the one that let them go from his Club to go down south for the moonshine.
Oh, my gosh I watched this movie so many times and I never knew that was rick james never correlated, never paid attention
Wow! I didn't know that! I totally see it now!
I was just about too say this
In all my 24yrs NOBODY ever told me that was THEE Rick James??? Nah I’m bout to go confront my mama 😂😂
@@SinSinny Heavy D was also one of the guy digging the graves. Listening to the story.
Rest in Peace to the legendary Bernie Mac 🕊🕊🐐🖤🖤
RIP Heavy D & Rick James as well
Fun fact: Martin Lawrence's daughter, Jasmin Lawrence, is currently in a relationship with Eddie Murphy's son, Eric Murphy
14:25 😂😂😂 I love the *Love Punch Ki||* cut-away with Achara: *_"He de@d-de@d"_* 🤣🤣🤣
One of my favorite movies growing up. Thanks for reacting!
Harlem Nights , Eddie Murphy...CLASSIC
Since the holiday season is approaching, PLEASE react to The Preacher's Wife (1996), Soul Food (1997), Last Holiday (2006), The Perfect Holiday (2007), This Christmas (2007), and Almost Christmas (2016). You won't regret it!
This is DEF a great movie but very sad.. Just think of all the people that really went thru this. Eddie's Vampire in Brooklyn is awesome also! or Martin in A thin line between love & hate.
Vampire In Brooklyn!!!! I love that movie!! Do you know that a lot of people didn't like it? Now they're starting to appreciate it, but you and I were with it from back then. We knew what it was. Lol
Evil... Is... GOOD!!!
@@gothnate Don't you get me started on that. Lol I was about to hit you with the whole "GOD DAMN" scene. 😂😂😂😂
Flashlight cop, I see you, I see you 😂😂😂
56:28 - BTW, this light skinned brother who'd been digging the graves the whole time, he's the late great rapper, Heavy D, of Heavy D & The Boyz. He had a career that lasted 25 years (until his untimely death in 2011), and made 9 studio albums with many number 1 hits on the rap charts!
The fact a lot of reactors don’t peep Spanky is played by Rick James is always cool because I had to do a double take and confirm with my mom that was really him.
❤❤ I'm so amazed and excited that you guys are reacting to black cinema movies. I wish more UA-camrs would do the same thing. Yall are doing amazing and with Life I'm a huge fan and have subscribed
59:28 - Achara, you'd be surprised just how often that sort of thing happened in those days, where black men were wrongfully accused of crimes they did not commit. Or if they did commit a crime, the punishment did not fit.. for instance, like getting 30 years for stealing a pack of gum from a store, or something wild like that.
The superintendent with the daughter wasn't the same superintendent who killed the guy with the scar. That old superintendent left
Damn, y'all are a good movie duo!!! The discussion was flawless & informative!
I stopped binge watching my show, to watch this reaction to a movie I’ve seen a dozen times 😅
The soundtrack to this is amazing!
Love it! Add the movie “Remember The Titans” to your list of movies to react to 🙂
A quick list of movies you should watch:
A long kiss goodnight
Devil in a Blue Dress
Stir of Echoes
The Devil's Advocate
Hope Floats
Boomerang
Love Jones
Harlem Nights
Hoodlum
Rosewood
Possee
This Christmas
Almost Christmas
Love and Basketball
New Jack City
New Jersey Drive
Enjoy!❤
Thank you.
That feeling of not letting the huge stuff weigh you down is what comedy does. It's one of the things that make the great comedians GREAT. Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Gene Wilder, Bernie Mac...Robin Williams.
Tyler Perry too..
This is actually one of my family’s favorite movies ever, I’m so glad you guys watched it!
Sanaa Lathan in the house!!! Best man avp and here
This movie brings 😢to my eyez😢
You gon eat yo cornbread one of my all time favorite lines
You guys are Goated for this reaction!!!
Boomerang, Harlem Nights, Norbit, Poetic Justice, Baby Boy, The Five Heartbeats, Higher Learning, Dead Presidents, For Colored Girls, Jason's Lyric
Fun fact: Eddie Murphy was trying to fix his body suit under his pajamas during the scene where he’s talking to Martin Lawerence’s Claude. It was rolling up while he was delivering his lines and it was uncomfortable, that’s why he’s tugging at his stomach.
Do they really read these? I’ve always wanted to leave them a heartfelt message but only if Cinepals actually reads the comments.
Im so glad you guys reacted to this movie, its such a classic and not recognized as much as it should be. Thank you for this, it made my weekend ❤
It's past spooky season but Tales from the Hood with Clarence Williams the 3rd is another one of "classics".
I'm singing 'That uppa room'. 'Upper' for the urban impaired.
Harlem nights. Boomerang. Nothing to lose. A thin line between love and hate.
It's been mentioned on numerous reaction vids that Michael hasn't watch Boy's in the Hood so it's do to be watched.
Check out the movies Money Talks(1997), National Security(2003), Paid in Full(2002), All About the Benjamins(2002), Belly(1998), A Thin Line Between Love & Hate(1996), Baby Boy(2001), Big Momma’s House(2000), Set It Off(1996), and New Jack City(1991).
They reacted to Set it Off not too long ago.
Not Achara
Man please, there are only 3 movies in that whole list worth talking about.
Not Belly, everything else works but Belly just isn't a good movie lol. You also left off Harlem Nights.
@@Ay-ve6iomore than three
This movie has some of the best one liners.
Im so glad it's you guys and Jabby doing these black movies. I know your reactions are real and you can appreciate the stories❤
This movie was actually based on a true story. They didn't disclose this because of all the changes they did.
I just love how all the curse words were bleeped out EXCEPT for the n words
Life is my favorite movie. I wish Martin and Eddie did more movies together.
They did Boomerang together
@Archara and Michael was a treat to see you both fall in love with this gem. Sad so many do not know about this amazing gem of a film.
Yall are killing the black classics. Please watch "Hoodlum". I feel like yall would love it.
Oooh, I love Hoodlum!
@taneshah.1260 it's such a good movie. One of my favorites.
