Fully muffled bells toll out across Ryde to mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II

All Saints Church tolled the bells for an hour on 9th September to mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
2 of the bellringers were on holiday on the Island, so decided to reach out to the parish church to offer their help.

Beautiful! I never heard the fully muffled bells with the deepest bell open on the backstroke until this sad occasion. Several other churches have done this too. Heavenly, ethereal sound! R.I.P., Queen Elizabeth!
