Just like city parks and skateboard parks RC race track should be allowed in every city
jeff martin not just allowed, but exist
i'm old enough to remember the late 80's resurgence of the hobby, there were SEVERAL park districts in towns around me that were MORE than eager to allow small sections of a park in their town to be tilled up and a drivers stand built.....sadly, all have faded to history, but it would be nice to see that all come back.....
Depends where you go but there are plenty of places like that still. Most are in public park space sponsored by the city but there is usually a club that runs the maintenance of the track and will run events.
Pretty sure the town wouldn't have much of a problem with allotting a small bit of land to a local hobby group. There are probably hundreds of acres in even the most suburban towns, a small 50x50 foot square that's maintained by hobbyists (specifically: no cost to the town) probably wouldn't be too hard to secure. Not like these things make much noise.
I agree. I have to drive over an hour to get to my closest rc track. Good thing I like driving lol.
Great video! My wife would kill me if I did this😂
Ready Set RC you won’t know unless you try 😂
@@CCxRC 😂🤣😂🤣
Luckily, my "lawn" is really bumpy 60 years since it was planted, many generations of moles have left their legacy! The wife gets a new lawn when Covid is gone, and we're ready to go back to the local track.
I think when people say I do, they aren't finishing the sentence. Should be, I do agree to have as little freedom and happiness as possible, and stay with someone that I have a 90% chance of hateing later😜 . Not me! I can't promise to love someone forever. Hell I can't promise to like anyone tomorrow 🤣
It’s easier to ask forgiveness than to ask permission 😂
5:30 Having fun, laying pipe, sounds like a party!
its winter break, and me and my brothers got an rc car for christmas. started to make my own track in the yard today, day 1 complete. made a huge hole in the yard, adding jumps later on!
@2:57 Young buck figures out manual labor. I love this part of the film. Thank you for posting.
Great timing, gonna be starting my own here soon. Gave me some good ideas.
Technical is fun! Similarly working at home. 5 o’clock rolls around take a break water the track get some food. Run some laps go back to work. It’s awesome.
I’m about to start my own track but need idea and knowledge thx for some ideas and a little bit of learning was fun to watch you and hope mine looks as good as yours
Great video, Thank you! I like those "ends" made from pipe elbows. I used the 4" x 50' rolls of perforated-corrugated drain pipe from HD at $23 per roll. It was cheaper, .46 per foot than a 100' roll at .67 per foot! Also, I bordered the track with the tubing 'cause me and the kids are just beginning drivers; I figure it saves on parts bigtime, (hitting a rockery or concrete porch or my wife's blue berry plants, lol). Again, thanks for the video! Lon Thrall
Nice work...and really nice old Chevy truck as well
You are the MAN. That is awesome!
The truck under the carport is sickkkkk!!!
Awesome video! Thinking about doing something like this for my eagle project for Boy Scouts
Breaking ground on my track with my Catterpillar 312 excavator now. Cannot wait to get it finished, great tips.
Great video. You gave some good ideas to get people started!
Looks like fun. Nice job! I like the addition of the joker lane! Cool idea!
Love the blue pick up truck :) We have a nice crawler course in the yard which I suspect will grow this spring/summer due to life at home.
Awesome video very helpful
That's very cool
Sickkkkkk
I like the "joker lane". I have only heard of this from pro supercross a few years ago, haha.
That’s great stuff, for me though I’m a bit lucky in that my back yard is very low grass. Kind of like an golf fairway. So I’m making a track without taking anything out or digging. I’ll make some ramps out of plywood and I have about 4 trees to leave up as turn points.
NICE BRO 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
I live in Vegas, our dirt is terrible and a bunch of rocks, im jealous of your land, lol.
rc khẻo quá anh ơi
Good video, lots of Ideas. I have an 18,000 lbs backhoe that I will be using to build the berms and jumps. Much easier on a 62 year old back...lol. Love your Chevy pickup parked in the car port. Cheers from Canada.
Thumbs Up
I hear a fart at 5:05 🤣🤣
Love that 69 Chevy truck in the background is that a blazer or a k10?
Great footage and an impressive project... but man, your audio levels are ALL over the place. Your music and machinery were so much louder than your speaking segments.. had to keep turning volume up and down the whole time.
I’m the 1k like hehehe
300$ and a bit of shovel work, seems like a great idea
So is that a 12 foot gap in between the ramps?
What type of rc car is that?
Can we get a follow up to this? Would love to see what the end result turned out to be.
What are the dimensions
Bro where did you buy the hose
Someone knows
Check prices at the local box store. When I made the purchase, the 50' rolls were cheaper per foot than the 100' rolls! I started with 200' and to line the perimeter completely, need about 100' more.
Dog....
Where the hell did my bone go?
Do a freestyle track
5:32 lol that sounded wrong
7:32 Nice cut😔. I think it would have been more interesting to see you fall short.
Joke lap seems to be a better joke lap. Harder turns and jump
Hello
Hello!
Commit all your property for a RC electric trucks????
Why not?
I've seen these in many cities in Florida and S.A. Texas. Real money makers with little investments.
lol....he said ''laying pipe''.....
Renting a roto tiller for 70 bucks a day while an electric one is 85
I am a mountain biker who build the dirt stuff everyday and it’s honestly sad that he had to explain to ppl how to protect from overflow and it’s sad that the landing was so curved and not nice and sharp with a big case plate and one last thing that was sad was how tired he got from just a landing
No thanks, I am not ripping up my back yard when I can easily find a construction site or just pull out my RC ramp!
oh no, not the grass!
@@TheRaptor700Rider 🤣
A. Destroy ur own backyard. B. Piss off ur neighbors. C. Thats why micros are the best!! Less area to play, little to no noise!!
What's better, mowing the lawn or driving R/C cars, lol.
