Thank you for these videos. I am considering buying a Cutie frame and your informative videos have been very helpful, however, I am wondering if it would be feasible to layer the quilt sandwich on a tabletop as I would normally do, but without spray basting or pinning, and then load it onto the frame, obviously placing the quilt centrally and checking that each layer is smooth before clipping?
I still often layer my quilts on my cutting table. When I do this I will pin the corners and one or two in the field (middle). I find it's useful to have as many methods in your pocket as possible.
You could actually, and it might be easier. In this case, clip the leader onto the back, leaving out enough to pin backing to. then pin backing to the leader and continue with the other layers.
@@KathleenButler-wu1hx Yes. Normally you use the rear handles and lay the panto out on the table beneath the frame and use the Gracie Laser to trace out the panto.
Thank you. Just saw that. Any chance on doing a tutorial on doing pants on the breeze. I am a new quilter. Still learning. Any chance on instructions for your weighted bags
I started out with the Jazz II...fell in love with the Cutie Frame BECAUSE it worked so well with the BabyLock Jazz II. I later acquired a Brother PQ1500SL and original SureStitch. The videos I shot with those two machines are only available in my face look group (Cutie Quilters). I only upgraded to the Q'nique after becoming really skilled at using the frame with those two DOMESTIC machines.
I hope you know how much your tutorials are appreciated. Thank you for taking YOUR time to help all of us
Great video. Just ordered my breeze. Looking forward to setting itup
Thank you for all the great information
Great Video, Bonnie. My LR is out for delivery. I had to take a break from Cleaning my sewing space to watch.

Is there any way to put a leader cloth on the using this method or do I need to build my quilt sandwich on a table.

Thanks…I’m going to try.
Can you use a pantograph on the cutie breeze frame
@@KathleenButler-wu1hx Yes. Normally you use the rear handles and lay the panto out on the table beneath the frame and use the Gracie Laser to trace out the panto.
With the breeze you cannot move the handles to the back. Any suggestions
@@KathleenButler-wu1hx the breeze handles go up and over. The Cutie Breeze has the foam handles, front and back integrated in the chariot carriage.

Pantographs
I’ve yet to see the frame actually being used with a domestic machine.
