I hope you know how much your tutorials are appreciated. Thank you for taking YOUR time to help all of us
You are truly amazing! I’m sew glad I’ve found your channel. Main reason I’ve wanted a LA is due to basting (physical disability challenges) but I don’t have the room. You, dear lady, just solved that dilemma. Thanks so much. Hoping current sales will last until early January. I wonder if Grace Co does an end-of-year sale? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁 ❤

Great video. Just ordered my breeze. Looking forward to setting itup
Thank you for all the great information
Great Video, Bonnie. My LR is out for delivery. I had to take a break from Cleaning my sewing space to watch.
Thank you for these videos. I am considering buying a Cutie frame and your informative videos have been very helpful, however, I am wondering if it would be feasible to layer the quilt sandwich on a tabletop as I would normally do, but without spray basting or pinning, and then load it onto the frame, obviously placing the quilt centrally and checking that each layer is smooth before clipping?
I still often layer my quilts on my cutting table. When I do this I will pin the corners and one or two in the field (middle).
I find it's useful to have as many methods in your pocket as possible.
Quick question: When you move the larger quilts to the side to finish top basting with the needle down, are there any further things you need to do to make sure you will not damage the needle or mess up the quilt sandwich??
@@lenacoleman1142 just leave one of the back clips in place and, with needle down, tug the quilt body along. It's how long armers have repositioned their quilts forever. Don't YANK, just tug along slowly.
@@quiltingonathread Thanks I am in the process now (after watching your other video) on making my leaders for the frame and then making my weight bags. Thanks so much for all your exceptional videos!! Much appreciated.
Bonnie, on the Cutie breeze, do you need a leader cloth?
@@lindayeomans6369 you don't NEED a leader cloth on any hoop frame. You can either use more cloth for your backing or save that material by using leader cloths. Since material can be so expensive, I choose to use leader cloths most of the time.
Would a 60" wide table hamper quilting in any way? Are there any forseeable downsides to this, besides needing more room in your room? Thank you in advance.
@@jlbrown2622 I don't see any problem using a 60" table if you have room. Many people do and they like having the space for tools besides the frame. I chose not to go larger because I generally quilt larger pieces and knew that I would knock things off the larger table with my king-sized projects.
Is there a UA-cam showing loading the CB with a leader cloth?
@@lindayeomans6369 I don't have one, but it's the going to be very much the same as the original Cutie.

Is there any way to put a leader cloth on the using this method or do I need to build my quilt sandwich on a table.
You could actually, and it might be easier.
In this case, clip the leader onto the back, leaving out enough to pin backing to. then pin backing to the leader and continue with the other layers.
Thanks…I’m going to try.
Can you use a pantograph on the cutie breeze frame
@@KathleenButler-wu1hx Yes. Normally you use the rear handles and lay the panto out on the table beneath the frame and use the Gracie Laser to trace out the panto.
With the breeze you cannot move the handles to the back. Any suggestions
@@KathleenButler-wu1hx the breeze handles go up and over. The Cutie Breeze has the foam handles, front and back integrated in the chariot carriage.
Thank you. Just saw that. Any chance on doing a tutorial on doing pants on the breeze. I am a new quilter. Still learning. Any chance on instructions for your weighted bags
Pantographs
I’ve yet to see the frame actually being used with a domestic machine.
I started out with the Jazz II...fell in love with the Cutie Frame BECAUSE it worked so well with the BabyLock Jazz II. I later acquired a Brother PQ1500SL and original SureStitch. The videos I shot with those two machines are only available in my face look group (Cutie Quilters).
I only upgraded to the Q'nique after becoming really skilled at using the frame with those two DOMESTIC machines.
