    Thank you. I am new to the Cutie and your video was very helpful. I had wondered about projects that were smaller than the frame. 🌟

    Thank you for your clear tutorial. After buying my Cutie frame last August and it sitting in my sewing room in its box I finally put it together yesterday (it’s a little fiddly but I got there!). Your videos have helped me understand how to load the quilt, so now I just need to make a start! 😂

      You got this! Just do a little of something every day until you find yourself just naturally "doing". 🤗

    Thank you for the video. I really like the idea of marking the sewing area bc I find the new clamps are always in my way on my Cutie Breeze. Im new to quilting my own stuff, and of course my batting is unside down. 😅 It's just my practice panel tho.

    Thank you Bonnie, I love the tip of using string and weights to mark a safe sewing zone. And I ran to my current project and sure enough, the batting is upside down. I always forget to check that!

      I always check the packaging on new brands to make sure of the manufacturer's suggestion. 😉

    This was so very helpful to me. My frame has been just sitting there because I have been having problems with my neck. Now I am better and I will be back in the sewing room. I need to follow your videos and get going on practicing on my frame! Thank you for making this video. Happy Easter!

      I hope you are able to get quilting soon. When I first set my Cutie up 3 years ago, we had a family crisis. I was out of town for a month...came back so overwhelmed. I'm pretty sure that I stared at practice piece, I had already loaded, for several days before I started on it.
      I did it...you will too!! You've got this. 😉

    Very helpful demonstration … thank you and where did you get your light over the cutie???

      @@diannweier2489 The light is the Luminess light from the Grace Company. It's pricey, but very well worth it for the clean light produced.

    Thanks for this video I love the thread marking idea. I am new to the cutie and I got a ruler plate in a bundle with the machine. Do you keep yours on your machine for more stability? It looks like a good idea. Also do you baste larger projects like a lap quilt? It would be nice not to have to baste anymore!! Thanks again!

      @@carold1280 I have never taken my ruler base off of the Q'nique 19.
      I baste the top when I load a quilt on the frame. Basting before I bring the quilt to the frame depends on the quilt. I have several videos on how I create my sandwiches.

    Do you use the edge warning system on your Qnique?

    • @quiltingonathread
      @quiltingonathread  Місяць тому +1

      @@proud2bktsmama I have the basic Q19. None of the X or X Elite options.
      I have the edge warning equivalent on another OEM machine and I hardly use it. I do think it would be more useful on a hoop frame than my 10ft rolling system, with automation.
