Great review. Buying this whiskey is more of a show of support for an innovative producer, that a purchase of a fully mature product. It’s truly a process of discovery and learning as these products mature. There’s no question these whiskies will be wonderful with more age.
Well John I have really enjoyed this episode. But what I was really impressed with is the knowledge of your home town. A man who is very proud of his history and heritage. Thank you so much for spending the time to educate us. Keep it up, loving the back catalogue of your other channel. Thanks again John.
hi john didn't realize you are from waterford, i lived in kilkenny and was a driving instructor in waterford for a few years back in 2002 what a great place with great people.
Great video John. Love the Waterford history. You would be a great salesman for this. So well done. Love how the colour in the lamp in the background matches the carton for the Waterford whiskey. Nice touch... :)
Just discovered your channel and very much enjoyed 3 or 4 of your videos already today. Great facts and story behind the whiskies, especially this one, its made me want a bottle of this. Few quid above my normal budget though. Subscribed and looking forward to more reviews, keep up the good work.
Definitely going to try that one I have also purchased a couple of the ones you recommended before and I am loving them. As a novice whiskey drinker I am really getting into whiskey BIG THANKS
Interesting experiment for sure. But it'll go over the heads of most of us. So pricy for a young malt too but start up costs are huge I'd say.. Had the Ballykilcavan and Bannow Island. They're young, quite good, but not wow. Can't wait to see what the future holds when they introduce older malts into the equation, they will be something special I'd say.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Whiskey is for drinking, not for collecting. Amen brother! Enjoying the reviews. Keep up the great work!
Great video. Just one correction- a factory that produces beer is a brewery. A factory that produces spirits is called a distillery.
Great review. I got a bottle of the Luna 1.1 way over here in Gibsons, British Columbia. It's the most I've paid for a whiskey, and I really like it.
I really enjoyed the background info on Waterford distillery and the history of the city, very interesting!
Glad you liked it Jacob
Totally agree my friend, whiskey sir is definitely for drinking.
It surely is!

Very interesting to listen to. My husband works at Crisp Malt who produce a unique and exclusive barley malt.

A good whiskey but I did find more of a finishing burn then I expected.
