Where are you? That house looks amazing! As someone with ADHD, I naturally run low on dopamine. My morning routine is crucial for starting my day strong. It includes a sun lamp and a walk. I like the idea of a dopamine menu. I'll be creating one today. Thanks!
Re phone and social media… I sometimes leave my phone in the car while I grocery shop, or drive somewhere pretty and leave the phone in my car while I walk. Those mini breaks help. I also make windows in the evening to leave my phone away in a different room and be present while I do my chore or meals etc. I like the one day plan you have- maybe also give yourself these kind of mini breaks during the day. I didn’t realize how much checking the phone or picking it up is a totally reflex. ❤❤❤
I have a new healthy habit, but I only arrived at it not by making a plan and having the mental fortitude to stick with it, I arrived at it by just being utterly dysfunctional with the negative effects of the bad habit, but - I quit guzzling coffee all day every day. I am not drinking it at all now. I feel like I've abandoned a bestie!! 😩😆 But I can no longer deal with the dehydration, massive hunger it triggers, the adrenal fatigue, the digestive disruption, the yellowing of my teeth..... I'm back to drinking green tea throughout the day, like I did years ago. My skin looks better and I feel much better. I actually don't even miss coffee. Over time, the association I began to have with it went from happiness to a white knuckle expectation like, here we go. Now I'm thirsty, hungry, have to use the bathroom and brush my teeth like a madwoman.... it's no longer worth it. I wish I could learn to break bad habits BEFORE it comes to a crisis point!!!!! I think I will make one of these menus....
