That first image of him, he didnt look like the guy next door lol , he looked like a psychopathic serial killer.
exactly what I thought lol! I’d definitely avoid anyone with that psychopathic glint in their eye, he looks evil
That looked like a mugshot. People rarely take their best photos when they're under arrest and facing a police photogapher.
Please stop trying to say that you discern a sciopath or physiopath by their appearance as that's extremely ignorant and dangerous.
@@hamishford5486 sociopath is spelt this way and there is no such thing as a physiopath. Learn to spell and I may listen. Plus there is an lol in there so it was tongue in cheek, if you know what that means.
Boy next door my. 4((,,??~\~’!!!!
The unnecessary background music is awful.
It is distracting. Too loud.
It's actually the shows fault for the music & not the uploaders. And I agree- it's way too loud & distracting!!!
I thought it was something to do with my earphones 😂

Good call it’s unbearable
Music is too loud and distracting. Otherwise, very well done...
I agree too loud
Ya, idk why they do that
I actually jumped when it first started 😂 I’m just gonna put on CC and turn the volume all the way down
I don’t understand it!
I have no idea why youtubers destroy their videos with background noise (they call it "music"). It gives me headache, their videos are unwatchable.
I think I could’ve tuned out the background music eventually..BUT I read the comments & every one of them talked about the music being too loud so now it’s all I hear. 😂
😂😂😂😂
Exactly ! Id be fine probably not even notice the background noise ,then someone comments !
Fr though. I didn't even notice until I saw the comments
I was glad to hear of the conviction for cruelty to animals, not just because of the hurt to humans whose animals they were, but for the sake of the animals themselves. I think those crimes are too often ignored.
Agreed!!!
No "good" people have ever hurt an animal on purpose! They're bad people.
Although I totally agree with you, the guy who pulled the girl into the bushes was only given a fine and probation.
What about while lot of animals being butchered for meat daily specially in the West where meat is a staple and overeaten and then u people talk about global warming do u know how much co2 does it take to produce beef chicken and mutton
Great narration, but the subject matter is intense enough, in my opinion, you could do without the music. The music makes it feel like a melodrama. It takes it over the top, and makes it almost cartoonish.
Maybe use it as a garnish (-only in certain parts), rather than the main course …playing it throughout the entire episode is a bit much.
Just a suggestion. Otherwise, well done!
Agree completely 😢
You explained this very well. No music please.
Like network tv uses music in documentaries
Ok Spielberg
If footage is copyrighted they often add music bec if a certain amount of the footage is altered then it is allowed to be used.
Get rid of the music. It’s overpowering!
Agreed
You do it
I'm hard of hearing and I can't agree more. The music muddles out the voices for me.
It may open my third eye soon!😂
Earrapee
Music overbearing.
There’s always some chick marrying these guys in prison
Never heard of this case good vid .,exept the background music ..
Whoever produced this must have been deaf when put this together. It is God awful!
The ego on this interviewing officer is worse than a psychopath 😂😂
I was interested but that quickly changed because of the music. Very hard to watch.
Glad I'm not only one
Same. It literally made my head hurt
Lots of people are mistreated by parents- they don’t turn into trash like this 🤮
No one has the same reaction in any given situation. We all have different psychological makeups and so what breaks one person will strengthen another.
Serious abuse by mothers appear to exacerbate to a great extent many serial killers actions....
@@yonaavraham9594yes..hold no one accountable.....someone else's.fault!!!!! Unless you're a conservative..then it's ALL your fault!!!!
@@johndonahue3509- yes, it's all so obvious that we shouldn't apply the law nor civil respect for our fellow citizens to angry ppl who have had a difficult childhood with deadbeat primary influences (pls read sarcasm) I had those deadbeat, abusive evil primary influences yet have never, ever to my knowledge hurt anyone.
I always wonder what point someone is making when they say this?
Do they believe the video is claiming otherwise?
Or that abuse by parents of those that carry out serious crimes shouldn’t be mentioned?
Obviously not all victims of abuse go on to commit crimes.
But the question is does nurture make any difference whatsoever to how people turn out?
The music - stop it
Totally agree don’t need back room music and it’s so loud
EU stop it

Music is too loud.
You control the volume.
I had a former student who I was concerned about… He expressed very things in which I cannot post all mine… Since I was his special education teacher, I read his files, and it turns out he was dismembering small animals, and killing neighborhood cats since he was five… Not one teacher… Nor social worker ever helped me in my concerns… It was always swept under the road… At that same school there was a student who hit a knife under a pillow in kindergarten… It is the real dream to me how many thingsschool district fail to put to light… pardon, poor grammar, talking to text… By the way, I have not watched the video yet… I just had to say before even started the video that the children who have the capability of killing small animals at such a young age and dismember neighborhood cats with no remorse or capable of taking human lives in the dark. It is statistically proven. Lastly, I will say that I do not want to hear anything about mental illness, playing a part in taking a life and evil actions. That is a slap in the face to those who suffered.
Can this Criminologist be any more full of himself?
Haha I literally just commented this before finding yours. 👍
OK, but he added two more murders to the list ...
The Miami Vice looking guy?? He was. Ridiculous!
I just commented this before I scrolled through the comments to see if anyone else sensed this. Really not that badass when you’re in a building full of armed police. Between Miami Vice and the background music, I had to look for another documentary on Ross.
I agree. Edmund Kemper sounded so reasonable and normal when he spoke
Well thank you👍😎👍
But he was also creepy...
Sounds. Ed is still very much alive.
Edmond Kemper sounded as well as looked like an innocent "boy next door," except for his height.
Kemper’s story is chilling, and in an interview I saw, he seemed so articulate and smart and in a weird way personable. Michael Ross was a graduate of Cornell University and could have had a very successful life. I wish there was an answer as to what makes these men become so hateful and vicious.
Dang the music is horrible loud!
Music unnecessary
On my iPhone the background music sounds normal
Mine also
I’m on my iPad and it’s so loud I can’t finish this episode
same , bm sounds normal
When I think of what a Serial Killer looks like, it looks like Ross. I have no neighbors that look like him.
🙄😒 looks mean nothing
Imagine being only 14 years old and comforting your friend as they are being assaulted
Definitely an old soul RIP all 🙏🏼
You are Hybristophile.
Yes ! I don't know why the creators think they need loud music and some long intros with loud music.
Great video!! Music was a little too loud, distracting.
Turn the music down!
Had a friend who worked for a machine shop in southern CT he would be on the highway all the time delivering to all the aerospace businesses one day he said he saw a beautiful girl that would hitchike all time he kept saying to us this girl is gonna get picked up by some nut!! It was robin Stravinsky!!!!!
Wow, that's crazy.
I put the volume way down and the music is really disturbing. Good video and content. Sad that so many girls were killed so cruelly.
the music is fine. i can hear everything they're saying
I've gone deaf.... that music 🎶 🎵
He was born evil . . Saying he turned out like this because of his up bringing is an excuse for his torrid behaviour . . I've known men who had a much tougher time growing up and have turned into mature responsible adults
Not necessarily. My mother abused all 6 of her children. Mentally and physically. There is an age gap of eight years between the oldest four and my brother Joe and me. Five of us went into the foster care system. My oldest sister is permanently messed up even though she is in her seventies. She was arrested for assaulting a police officer a couple of years ago.not her first offense. My second youngest sister is perfectly normal And leads a normal Same for my two oldest brothers . My youngest brother was an alcoholic at 12. Lucky for him he met his future wife while he was in the hospital ward for alcoholics. She was six years older and a nurse. She helped him get sober. They were married when he was eighteen. And he is still sober and married over forty five years later. I was only a year younger than him and had a lot I counseling as a teenager because of my anger issues. And I got in a lot of trouble as a teenager. Ended up pregnant at fifteen. I finally went into a stable foster home along with my son. And have stayed out of trouble. So even though we are genetically related and had that same early childhood upbringing in that same house ,we were all different in how it affected us. It's not an excuse ,it's just an explanation.

"He was born evil . . Saying he turned out like this because of his up bringing is an excuse for his torrid behaviour . . I've known men who had a much tougher time growing up and have turned into mature responsible adults."
"He was born evil . ."
False because no one is "born evil" although it might seem like certain people are because of their surly demeanor during the entire birthing process. But no one is "born evil". Nor is anyone "born good" for that matter. But everyone is born innocent which, contrary to mistaken popular belief is not synonymous with good. It just is what it is. Behavior is purely taught. How we deal with it in every microsecond of our lives - whether in a positive way or in a negative way - is ultimately going to determine what we are going to be like in every microsecond of our lives as it is a constant process of one step at a time as to how and why we react/respond to anything in our lives, not that we are born one way or the other but what and how we are taught to react/respond to anything and how and why we adjust our reactions/responses to anything we encounter. So if we decide from a very young age how and why we are going to react/respond to anything we encounter and try our best to stay consistent and constant with whatever reactions/responses we choose to react/respond with to anything we encounter in our lives, then so much the better for us because consistency and constancy are admirable traits in anyone because that makes them easy to figure out how and why they will react/respond to anything they encounter in their lives but also be reliable/dependable in what those reactions/responses are going to be. However, since only one mortal being has ever been perfect and the rest of us imperfect, even the person (no matter who it is) that seems to be always consistent and constant in their reactions/responses to anything they encounter in their lives can break in some way, shape or form and degree from their consistent and constant reactions/responses to anything they encounter in their lives whether their reactions/responses were right or wrong. And all of this includes everyone who dithers and dathers e.g. me. And so it is with all of those men you know. Mis/behavior is taught and learned in some way, shape or form and degree; no one is born with it, period no matter what anyone says to the contrary. Facts, period! But I am curious...why did you say "he was born evil"? Thanks.
"Saying he turned out like this because of his up bringing is an excuse for his torrid behaviour . ."
What? You are joking, right? Again, simply and absolutely no one is born with behavior nor misbehavior but rather taught and learned them but what they do with the behavior or misbehavior is totally up to them when they become of age. Then from that point on, their teachers can't be rightly blamed for their pupils own individual behavior and misbehavior provided the pupils learned well enough from their teachers which is not a reflection so much on the teacher's teaching style but rather the pupils learning style which includes paying attention, understanding, comprehension and application of the principles taught and learned. Whether people stay consistent and constant in their reactions/responses or alter/change them has purely to do with choice, not being born to behave or misbehave. It is an inducted nature and nurturing thing, not an inborn nature thing, period.
"I've known men who had a much tougher time growing up and have turned into mature responsible adults."
Again, it was, is and always will be in how and why they choose to conduct themselves at any given time or moment. They are not born with it, period. Make any sense now? Take care.
@@jonathanray7931 Don't lecture me . . . period
26:19 Ron should know…That’s not snitching. There’s no benefit to him, he wasn’t negotiating a better sentence for himself by telling the police about them, he was turning in 2 psychopaths that randomly murdered people.…..that’s reckless for all society including him and those he cares about. These crimes were so obviously crazy and evil even other criminals have morals and limits…fortunately. Ron did the intelligent and moral thing!

Don't play such background "music."
Trying to listen to the narration through the music actually requires effort. Can’t say I’ve encountered that before.
It's really powerful and valuable to hear from the detectives in these cases. I have so much appreciation for all they do. I was really touched by the way Ron was spoken about. What an upstanding man to put aside his own safety in order to help arrest the shooters.

Great story but cut the background music. ( noise)

Abuse is no excuse for becoming an abuser. My belief is that personality disorders are behind psychopaths..maybe abuse is a trigger that enables abusive behavior..
psychopathy is a personality disorder. aka antisocial personality disorder
Never ceases to amaze me how the families of the killers keep trying to convince others that their family member could never do these things, they are innocent, or they were mentally irresponsible for the crime and it was someone else's fault... What's most scary is when serial killers compete with other serial killers! Cringe!
I liked the police in these stories, especially the second. Very kind, caring and compassionate! Stories were very well told as well, thank you.
Well done video, Ron,and so well done, Law Enforcement.

Violent upbringing is no excuse as many would choose the opposite path.
Agree...but it does explain somewhat why certain individuals may have become one. To me it doesn't change my opinion that they deserve to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,no matter what their lives were like.

However, given the missionary numbers, I believe the majority were committed to offering the Gospel to the world.
The Phoenix Police department is not mentioning. They arrested the wrong man, and charged him with all the murders.
