Been using Mevo+ and Pro Package since the beginning and it has totally improved my game. And totally agree with your review. Only issue with RCT is they crack fairly fast and they are not cheap... I wish I would have bought a crap ton when it was on special last year. I'd also add that the software suite (especially now that they have full PC version out) of the mevo is exceptional for the price and all that without subscriptions. I have two cameras and capture every swing when working on stuff. It's invaluable for documenting your swing.
I've used at least a dozen different ball types in my sim (114mph drive SS) and they will all crack with 200-300 whacks if you're doing a session with long clubs. You just don't see it on the course because the ball has more time to rest between hits and they're often lost or retired before they see that many consecutive strikes.
The only club that hasn’t read great for me is driver. The spin seems high and the drives are much shorter than real life. Will try the RCT balls to see if that helps. The rest of the clubs are bang on. And agree GSPro is fantastic.
The RCT balls will make a HUGE difference. If you don’t use those it will estimate driver spin around 50% of the time. So get rct balls and make sure to select the RCT ball option in gspro. It’s night and day
I have the space, and I know since watching this and other videos this is what I'd like....the problem is, you go in depth with these great golf tools but never explain how to convice the wife 😅😅 Great video, per usual!
This was a really awesome review, thanks for posting! I do have an odd question… what shoes are those in the section you talk about chipping issues? I have the same lace system on my daily shoes and love it.
I have watched your video and many more. I ordered the Mevo plus and the pro package. I plan on using it outdoors, hitting into a net in my backyard and at the range. Should I use the rct balls in my net? Thank you for taking the time to create this video. I have learned a lot from you. Your set up looks amazing.
If you have a lot of distance into your net you probably don’t need it but I think for net hitting it’s probably worth it as it should give optimal spin readings!
Eventually I will be adding GSPRO, what kind of system will I need to run it on? Laptop or desktop, budget friendly, and it will be primarily used for the simulation. I got the Mevo based on your channel and followed your setup video’s directions, runs like a champ! Thx
No problem! Glad to see it’s working great for you. I would say you probably will need to spend 800-1000 on a laptop with the right specs. I think prime deals will lower everything.
I’m looking at mevo plus. You mentioned 30,000 shots. Should I buy new or used. $2,300 is a lot of money. So if I buy a used Mevo plus, will the number of shots make a difference? What should I be looking for in a used scope? Year usage, etc
Also, I can't remember where I got the stand from, If you post on reddit a picture of it I think someone will be able to share the email but I lost the guy who I emailed to get it!
Hey! yes you can, make sure you use the cord and wall plug in it comes with, you can extend that plug in but make sure that the plug in and cable are apart of it.
I recently purchased FS face impact and using it indoors with pretty good lighting I am unable to get face impact for the driver. It seems to work with all my irons but not my driver
You would need more space, for something like that I would recommend skytrak+ or Bushnell launch pro Bushnell Launch Pro / Foresight GC3: www.playbetter.com/products/bushnell-launch-pro-launch-monitor?ghref=2301%3A651919 SkyTrak+: www.playbetter.com/products/skytrak-plus-golf-launch-monitor-simulator?ghref=2301%3A651919
I have the original SkyTrack and I’m tired of all the non reading of shots. Wanted to know if the mevo plus will work with the golf club 2019 well. Also how good does it read putts.
it's 2024 and I wish people would review the Full Swing Kit, It's $5000 and I need to see current videos justifying that... I was blown away they raised the price $1000 while it was horribly inaccurate..
Two questions. 1) how does your readings indoor vs at the range compare? Are they pretty consistent? 2) what’s the process of connecting the mevo to a projector to have the full indoor setup?
Hey bill! I actually don’t use the devices to often outside but when I do they are very consistent. Mevo connects to pc or iPad or phone by WiFi or Bluetooth and then you just have the device connected to projector with hdmi.
Did you get the three year warranty (paid anually $600)? an annual warranty for $600 on a $2000 item. Sure I want my $3500 investment protected but for that much?
No I did not, customer support is great so even if something did happen I think they would replace it if you called in. Also, I have a polycarbonate plate in front of my unit if I do get kick back. I don’t think it’s worth it. I would just buy one of the stands with a polycarbonate protector it’s like $50 bucks and you should be good to go.
That’s a fair assessment, I have been doing tests recently against an Apogee and have gotten essentially the same results. Part of the reason I do it this way is because I’m very confident in my distances and shot shape and if I find a shot to be in the green or yellow, 10 handicaps and above will think those yardages are spot on. Anyone better than a 5 handicap will probably have the same feel on yellow light shots as I do. It’s not a perfect science but I’m confident people buying the unit will trust my ratings and that’s what’s important to me is buyers feeling my assessment was correct after they buy. For what it’s worth trackman just came out with a camera based unit which means they didn’t think their radar based one was as accurate as it could be. Something to consider when the “industry leader” didn’t think their unit was up to par indoors.

Great Review and as a User of the product I totally agree. Best bang for your buck! Golfbusters knows what they’re talking about!

I’ll add that into my 1 year update on my simulator, great idea!
One of these days I will likely buy one of these from your videos. I just wish I had the space to use it at the moment.
Let us know when you do! Thanks for watching!
Thanks!!! How are you doing the screen overlay of the GSPro Advanced images?
Do you have any tips or a guide on setting up putting on the Mevo+?
This was a really awesome review, thanks for posting!

Great review. Would love to see an apogee one as well.
Coming out in the next 2 weeks!
dude...as a videographer, sick review
Thanks!

Do you ever have WiFi connection issues? Mine seems to disconnect after like 30-45 minutes of play and I need to restart it to get it running again.
I have never had any! I would call FS support and see if they can help

I personally would buy new, lots of scams on used ones and with transfer fees prices are pretty close.
@@GolfBusters Scams on used,ok thanks for the information, much appreciated.
How are able to view the pro package statistics and the driving range simultaneously?
There’s a pop up if you click advanced settings in gspro!
@GolfBusters Where did you get the Stand from? Looks 3d printed? Where could I find the STL for this?
Also, have you used TGC2019 at all? How does it stack up against GSPRO?
I would take GSPRO over TGC2019. TGC doesn't push out updates much anymore which affects LM that do update themselves.
Also, I can't remember where I got the stand from, If you post on reddit a picture of it I think someone will be able to share the email but I lost the guy who I emailed to get it!
Sorry if you already answered this.... can you use the Mevo plus while plugged into a wall outlet so no battery worries?
Hey! yes you can, make sure you use the cord and wall plug in it comes with, you can extend that plug in but make sure that the plug in and cable are apart of it.
@@GolfBusters Great. The Mevo will be by a back wall, so I'll put a plug there!
I recently purchased FS face impact and using it indoors with pretty good lighting I am unable to get face impact for the driver. It seems to work with all my irons but not my driver
I think we have the lights we recommended linked in the description of this video or another video. Might just need the right lights
Great review.
Thanks!
What do I need to project to a screen? Bluetooth to a iPad/ PC and then HDMI to the projector?
Hey Eric! There is like something that plugs into your iPad that concrete to hdmi. Then you connect it to an hdmi and then to a projector
There may also be a cast option but I haven’t used that befor
@GolfBusters will the original Mevo+ work with a PC or must I have the 2023 version?
It will!
Does this work well 6.5 to 7ft behind the ball and 8ft /9ft to the screen ? Do I need more space ?
You would need more space, for something like that I would recommend skytrak+ or Bushnell launch pro
Bushnell Launch Pro / Foresight GC3: www.playbetter.com/products/bushnell-launch-pro-launch-monitor?ghref=2301%3A651919
SkyTrak+: www.playbetter.com/products/skytrak-plus-golf-launch-monitor-simulator?ghref=2301%3A651919

It does work with tgc 2019, I would recommend gspro over tgc though for precise accurate readings. Putting is okay, we always use autoputt
Any thoughts on the new Optishot Nova similar price point
Have tried to review it and discussions fell through. No thoughts on it
very cool video!
Thanks!
Do you need a projector for this device?
Can run off phone or ipad!
Took your recommendation and have loved the Mevo+. Not a fan of putting tbh.
Yea it’s a waste of time

Planing to do a review on it soon!
Planing to do a review on it soon!
How many players can play a round of golf at a time?
I know at least 8 my guess is 12? I’ve never tried to see how many I could get
What’s the deal with the sim giveaway? When are you releasing? Keep up the great content.
I’m going to reach out Nov 2!
Is this still the best bang for buck and what you would go with today in the same price range?
This is still the best, still my number one recommended.

friends over 5-6 nights a week? how the family doing? ;)
The only way you can quantify accuracy is to pitch it against the industry leader, Trackman. You can’t say it’s not accurate against you’re “feel”.
