This guy is so down to earth. He shows dignity even when he loses. He never believes he is the King when he wins, and never feels like life is terrible when he is hurt by a loss. Way to go. Good mental health here! Opinion from a psychotherapist here.
I respect that fact that you show your loosing sessions as well . Hate watching just winning vlogs . Goes to show that it’s not always easy money . Those are tough nights driving home wondering what just happened.
How can people not like this guy? He’s a great player and he’s for the people! He doesn’t have an annoying laugh like another guy. He isn’t an addicted gambler who loses for the sake of thrill like another guy. He’s not boisterous. He gives action to cool players. What isn’t to like?
People say he is a d@ck whose head is as big as his actual head. I have no idea. You can't really know until you sit at a table with him away from cameras. Poker vloggers present themselves with the same authenticity as a daytime talk show host. Any edge is heavily sanded down. You gotta be an egomaniac to choose to document yourself this way and present it like you're doing a public service. It's a bunch of type-A personalities pretending to be chill and down-to-earth. Sorry this isn't as chipper as the rest, but I'm a Masshole so any negativity is a form of camaraderie gained from all the Mariano videos that I have watched.
@Mariano I'm the bald guy in a black shirt with my back to the camera on the left in the first frame of your b-roll when you enter on the way to the cage. Haha, fun! @1:29. Thank you for making the back of my head famous. Love the content, even when I am not featured!🤣

You're delusional if you think he's "pretending" to be a fish. Watch him play. He's not good. Gambles when he shouldn't, bluffs in dumb spots and calls pretty much anytime. In one of your blogs, I heard u say, "it is harder to get AK than AA!" The odds of getting pocket AA are 0.0045 = (4/52*3/51). While the odds of getting AK are 0.0060 = (4/52*4/51).
Thank you for showing this side of poker it’s not always pretty. Do I think we should punt 50k at a wild shot of winning 100k? No. But there’s other things Solver wise that needs fine tuning as well. As a MTT player that’s 15 Main Events & who knows how many 500’s & 2500’s u can play. 150k risk to win what? Maybe 200-300k. We need you to start studying MTT, you just have so much more potential & there’s a reason Rampage & so many more pros try their hand at it. I know you hate it but it’s worth a try lol.
