I truly appreciate you saying this! I’m definitely still working on talking better in front of a camera I still get a bit nervous, but so grateful that my efforts is appreciated
For the "final ab boss" I use a 'captains chair' to workout my lower abs. Same exercises, just not hanging. Great Video!! 👍🏿💯💯💯 (Locs looking great too 👌🏿)
A lot of good information came out from this one. Among the best pieces of advice, maintaining tension matters lots. Thank you for the info and reminders.
I got to get my diet right because I would love to bulk but without getting back fat and all the things lol so I’ll be watching because I need some help
Thank you for this. I was starting to get used to the ab exercises I was doing and didn't know how to make them gradually harder. Will def be trying these out next time. 🙏
That’s where the growth comes, progression! If your doing 15 sets of anything - and it’s not hard, add weight or manipulate the exercise so it’s becomes harder
The breakdown is genius!! Thnx for this Sis🥹, cause yo abbs definitely be abbing hunnie🔥🙌🏾. We want more breakdown vids. Very helpful. Much needed for those like myself who haven’t been getting the desired results
Hey girl! I don’t usually leave comments online but I had to tell you that I love the way you train. I can tell that you’re really passionate about fitness and your health and it inspires me to go harder. The first time I watched this video I didn’t think I could to the hanging leg raises but today at the gym I decided to give it a try. I managed to get in 3 sets of 8 and I’m so hype! Lol. I’m planning on continuing to work the program I’m doing for the remainder of the year but I’m definitely going to start yours at the top of next year. I think it’ll be exactly what I need to progress further 😁
Thank you so much for being apart of our community and I’m happy that you enjoy my content. I love to hear that too, let’s keep working and touching new heights!🥹❤️
Thank you so much for this 🙏🏾 it was really helpful, especially when you said we tend to forget that abs are muscles too and we need to treat them like any other muscle 😊
Treat it like any other muscle group love- I’d say as a beginner try to do at least 15 Sets for each muscle group weekly. So the same goes for abs! Spread out your 15 Sets throughout the week as you please. You can do a few sets after each workout, you can do dedicated ab days where you get most of it done in the same day, or you can sprinkle in a few ab sets during your down time in between other workouts. For example you do a set of RDL and instead of just sitting and resting, do a set of crunches, then give yourself a few seconds before going for another set of RDLs. Hope this makes sense 💕
When you first started off your workout journey, did you go straight to the gym, or did you first do at home workouts? If you ever did at home workouts, what exercises made a huge difference in your weight loss ? Also, were you doing any muscle group related workouts, or were you big on cardio, hiit workouts ?
Thanks for the video! I’ve been struggling with abs…my lower abs are showing but my upper abs is where I’m struggling. How often during the week should you work on abs.
Hii Uche!! Thank you so much for this video. I have a quick question… do you struggle with bloating? If you do, how do you go about it? I struggle so much with bloating, even from healthy foods and idk what to do😢
Hi love, I’m happy you like it!! I used to struggle with bloating a lot, I usually drink some diluted Apple Cider Vinegar (it has to say “with mother”) in the morning which helps a lot, also cut down on sodium if you can. You can also try to use a different protein powder if you’re using that. I use “Shake time” from 5% Nutrition which is based on real food instead of “Whey” protein, that has also done wonders!
Thank you ! I have a naturally strong core but I always only have a 4 pack. Really focusing on getting a 6 pack . Came on core day too ! Thanks girl !🙏🏾 and girl I HATE planks but they are killer for the abs and I like they work my arms too. lol
I've heard many times that training your obliques can lead to a wider waist. I'm not a very hippy person so how often would you suggest training that part compaired to the rest of the abs if I don't want my waist to get 'too muscular'
Technically it can but that would take A LOT. In reality, from my experience, that won’t happen. But if you are scared about that I’d just not progressively overload too much with your obliques exercises then, skip heavy weights and do mainly body weight for those. But honestly I wouldn’t worry about that too much because for you to “grow” your waist it would take a lot of work since the obliques are so small
I wouldn’t advise it, I myself fell for that in the past but there’s no science-backed research supporting the claim that waist trainers are helpful in anyway. It can actually be harmful so don’t bother with that. Just count your calories, make sure you’re in a deficit, and work hard with the goal of progressing and you’ll see your body transform in ways you couldn’t imagine!🫶🏾
You can, but in that case I’d just do Russian twists. The benefit of the cable is that it always provide tension so your abs are spending less time resting during each set

I really appreciate the fact that you take time to just explain the workouts instead of jumping to the exercises with just music over the clips😭✨️

I have been doing these for 3 days, damn it works even on my rest day I can still feel the burn. The leg raises the beginner is hell after 😅😂😂😂
😭😭 Love it!!
Hi Uche! Do you provide personal training?
❤❤❤Your beauty beyond beauty ❤️❤️☺️☺️☺️😍😍
Hey Uche, what's you waist and hip sizes?
Hi do you think its right to workout with wahst trainers or using waist trainers like everyother part of the day?

@@callmeuche omds thank youuuuu... and is it true that obliques exercises like the Russia twist give like wider waist or it depends on genetics

😍😍😍 think I found my gym crush lol
Are u by chance a personal trainer, I really need one or maybe get a programme I can follow.
Can I do the rotation with a dumbell?
You can, but in that case I’d just do Russian twists. The benefit of the cable is that it always provide tension so your abs are spending less time resting during each set
