Mike Garson is an absolute monster on the keys. Greatest rock pianist ever.

A MODERN AND TIMELESS MASTER
Well, I'm speechless: I've never heard something like this before.
Thanks Mike for existing!
Ladies and Gentlemen, though my opinion may not mean much, let me say that i think Aladdin Sane is the ultimate tale in the story of Bowie and Garson. And i don't really mean story in a literary sense, but Mr Jones' ability to take superior musicians to a place where THEY know exactly what to do. Mike Garson takes us from 'a lad' to another lad that might need help.
Thank you, Messrs. Bowie and Garson for a lifetime of wonder.
Thank you. That was wonderful.
😮. No Words ~ Just 😮

A beautiful tribute to many musicians that have passed on.
I had the good fortune to see and meet Mike Garson three times
Twice with him as a clinician at MusicFest USA and once while work I'm working backstage in Portland, OR for the Bowie's Glass spider tour. Amazing player!
I love the Gershwin interpretation.
I also heard Lennon and Chopin. I'm sure there's more.
....in the original version...he does a reference to....THE KING and I.....GENIUS....
I was waiting for Mike to throw in the kitchen sink into that medley
He's an excellent piano player.I like the way he threw in some classical music Rhapsody In Blue.A bit of John Lennon,Imagine.
There's also a bit of Chopin. And probably more.
There were a lot of other references too by Bowie and others - Time for example quite near the end
@@roelofk4375 I heard Rachmaninov too 😂
Absolute genius. Just seen him do that almost note for note in Brisbane.
Noooooo why wasn’t I told this was in Brisbane!
i'm just seeing now that he only has a picture of the handwritten chords progression
insane
A Lad Insane!
Genije!
Mix of Bach,Beethoven,Chopin,Lennon,Gershwin,Scott Joplin!!!!
Hahaha there are so many classical music references >
Does anyone know what is he playing at 03:12?
Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue - great piece!
