All the great rockstars of the 70's, 80's, 90's are leaving us. And its sad. If you have the chance to see legends like this atleast once in your life, DO IT. We are living the greatest moments in music history. I guarantee the new generation of music will never top these artsists.

Agustin Alejo Gimenez No, thanks. I actually enjoy listening to the music live, rather than pay top money to just hear people going ohooooo, ohooooo, ohooooo for the whole 3 hours. I've been there before, and couldn't even hear the solos, because they'll drown that too. Waste of money, dude. If I want to hear people chant, I'll go to a football match instead. Best places to see these bands are Europe and Japan.
@Kelly Daye Correct. Different strokes, for different folks. For me, it's all only about the music and the band. Nothing else. I just want to enjoy the show.

Other cultures prefer to jump in place and wave their hands or bang their heads to the music. This has NOTHING to do with opera or classical music, which by the way, I've seen people ruin with that too! My point here is YOU can enjoy your concerts the way you do. It's all good. But I prefer to go to concerts in countries where I can actually still hear the music and actually see the performers. I still love Argentina for other reasons. Like your asado, your football and your wines. It's a beautiful place with lovely people. I just do NOT enjoy your concert culture. That's all.

i was there, december 2009. i almost died. i cant remember the first 4 songs because i was struggling not to get crushed by the human tide. the biggest wildest concert ive ever been. i cried the whole show. i was just 20.
Great reaction from someone my age. Everything I wanted to say about the La Plata crowd has been said in these comments. What brought tears to my eyes was the 7 minute ovation given Keith Richards when Mick introduced the band during one of their concerts there. Wonderful to see young people rally getting into the music of my era.
A funny fact is that in that show, because people was jumping, it made the ground tremble and the walls of buildings and houses surrounding the stadium got cracked.

I was on Wednesday night December 2, 2009 at the stadium, I saw and heard the biggest thing you can see and hear, I will never forget those two magnificent hours !!!!

Superb concert by ACDC in the Mythical River Plate Stadium!!!- Awesome reaction.
Brian Johnson lives about 15 minutes away from my office. Cliff Williams lives about an hour down I-95. Used to see Brian around Sarasota but not as much as in the past as the town has grown.
If you see Brian tell him to get the band here to Croatia after this damn virus passes. Rock n roll baby!

i was there with my dad, i was 15 years old, we were more than 60.000 people that night. If you see the clip for The Jack of this show you would never know that in the slow parts of the song, tons of women started striping and thrwoing thier braws aways

Tremendo concierto como apoyo el público argentino.
I was there, went with my family, sister, father and my mother who had 3 vertebral hernias, was infiltrated a few days before the concert. We were in the upper stadium sittings in front of the scenario with access to the field. I stayed a few songs up and then went down to the crowd just for fun, then got back with my family the last songs. It was insane, the first and last time I went to an AC/DC concert.
I went to a lot of concerts in my 31 years of age, but that was the only one I shared with my whole family. I went with my mother and father to the Psycho Circus Kiss concert back in 1999 when Rammstein was the opening band also, but my sister was still a little child.
The whole stadium rumbled as if it was going to be demolished, people was euphoric, there were a lot of .famous people in the crow, but the crowd was interested in having fun with AC/DC rather than molest other famous ones.
It felt like Brian Johnson, Malcolm Young and Angus Young were a bit afraid of walking the huge pasarela because of the insane crowd, but Brian and Angus got that the crowd was just having fun and adore them, and they felt safe to walk it to the end.
Every time I see this DVD live at river plate I cry too, it's so emotional cause was the last big concert with original members (since Back in Black album of course)
Watching any song from that show when I'm baked makes me cry because it's so god damn beautiful...

After this recital, the River Plate stadium was closed for recitals because the sound of the band and the jumping of the public caused movements and cracks in the nearby buildings. Recitals could not be held for several months. It was epic!

My dad, my wife, our kids and me went to AC/DC and my dad had my son on his shoulders and I had my daughter and we both walk out at the end like 90 year old men with bad backs because that hurts a lot.

This is great. My biggest show was Woodstock 94, watching Aerosmith, Cranberries, Nine inch nails, Joe Cocker, Green Day, Cypress Hill, Blues Traveler, Jackyl, Peter Gabriel, Dylan, and Many many more with over 350,000-500,000 people.

People that live close to the stadium where they played, were trying to stop all the concerts because everytime when the ppl start to jump, outside the stadium feels like a mild earthquake, houses were cracking, streets, insane!!! I'm from la Plata and now the concerts are moving to my town

There is a fun fact to know about Argentina and River Plate Stadium shows. It get so damn intense that houses around the stadium tend to be affected by the high level of vibration comming from it and getting a certain level of structural damage. That's why neighbours of the area set a claim to forbid shows there. But the fun fact isn't just this is caused by music comming from it. But from people jumping like unisone to it like a huge mass causing an earthquake.
Me personally never attended to a show there, but did to several others at this country, and here things, and music, get pretty intense.

I was lucky to see almost every band that played in Buenos Aires while I was living there (I left Argentina 15 years ago to Europe) but I missed the feeling of the concerts at River with the energy that I can´t find here. Check out the first Foo Fighters show at Buenos Aires under a heavy storm... Dave Grohl couldn´t believe it, it´s amazing. Greetings bro!!!
