There's a few things in this video that are legal, such as the part where it said "destroyed", that is already in the game only difference is, it show a tank symbol with an X over it and just out from it it tells you what tank you "destroyed". The reload timer is legal as well, it's been in the Lesta version of WoT for a while now, and it was recently approved by WG and is available in Aslains. NOW the difference between the one in Aslains & Lesta WoT and the one showed in this video is, the one in this video only shows the reload times for the arty's and is shown on the players panel area. The one in Aslains and Lesta is part of the information that is available for the OTM markers. The armor penetrations % is also legal there are 2 version of that available in Aslains of which one version is made by CH4MPI. As for which mod/feature I'd like to see approved for/added to the game is the indicator that shows you where to aim your gun to hit a moving target as it's already a feature in WarThunder and I think World Of Warplanes may also have it. There is a mod available in Aslains that kinda sorta does the same thing but in a much different way. It's an XVM Sight Aim Info mod that shows you information like "Aim Time, Flight Time, Shell Speed etc" I don't see either one providing any significate advantage over anyone, if you have watched any WoT Streamers like Skill, Daki, Dez or even Lord Voldemort, you'll notice how they take their time in aiming and guessing on how much to lead their shots on moving targets.
those mods been used since 2014 so i dont think wargaming will change anything about it. In 2014-2018 all the top clans in the na server used at least the destruction map mod at the very least. after 2018 alot of top clans in na went away but then in general after 2018 the wot population dropped a lot and has been slowly dying. I made a new account and started playing on the EU server. Its much better but EU players play differently then compared to na players.
I dont think I would even notice the Grille cheater if I was in this match, yes hes a douche bag for cheating but 3.6K damage and not even top on xp is nothing to brag about, I would just think we got slapped 15-4 like the majority of battles these days. The obligatory reload times and RNG keep these mods from giving players a "god mode" like on other FPS games.
I run some of Aslains mods. I like customizing the garage. I also have Monty Python crew voice overs and the "Run Away" for when I'm spotted. The only questionable thing I run is turning dead tanks to white. All approved by Wargamming!
The destructible objects on minimap thing is a double-edged sword vs good player. I remember when usage of this mod was common among a lot of clans, and in clan battles we were shooting stuff on the other part of the map to confuse the enemy. So Ladies and Gents. Use that knowledge and lets the guys who fck around, to find out :)
As a avid wot player i feel the knock down indicator and the lead moving target and the red ball should definitely be illegal mods they can give a great benefit to good players. I know there use to be a mod in aslan that painted all tanks with spots to hit for crew/mods/fire chances. It might still be there i stopped using mods when wg brought the crew switching in.
A lot, slowly but surely WG catches them and bans them. My friend downloaded the same thing a few years ago in his main account, played for a week and got banned permanently.
Meh, I think Wargaming's RNG is way worse than this. When the game wants you to lose, you will lose, and you know it. My teammate and I were both on a Jagpanzer e100. We boot-shot heat rounds against an Fv4005, and we both bounced. We knew right there and then that we were about to lose.

@kennypozzobon7833 all wg has to do is make the gave server a closed server. If wg has not put it in the game it should be banned. And the only way to do this is close the server down. So players can't add anything
I suspected counter arty mods like this. In some arty games I played, I get counter arty fire exactly where I fired last. As long as the first shot doesn’t kill me, I move between shots. Also I use the small gun in my tier 9 arty for missions, so enemy arties usually have longer reload time and can’t counter me effectively.
Yeah, cheats do exist, a long time ago these kind of mods did not exist (like 2011-2014 or so) , so people had the impression that there are no cheats in this game, then the cheating mods appear - this is why some people think there are no cheats for WOT What frustrates me is the fact the big streamers and YTbers you always hear them, oh the cheat mods dont help you in any meaningful way, thats absolutely wrong, the mods dont help them, because they are so good at the game, a mod offers little to no advantage due to their skill level at the game. But, they do influence battles greatly when there are players that are less experienced at the game and have a lower skill level. For example 2 players, same skill level, lets say 1800wn8 or like 48%WR, one has these mods, one does not (clean), at the end of the battle, 1 v 1, who is the most likely to win? any reasonable person would pick the one with the mods. Fortunately you dont see many cheaters in-game, although there are periods when by some reason there is an influx of cheaters in the game. WG does try to ban them tho, can they catch them all? ofc not, but i think they do take it seriously, saying this however, on the bad note regarding this, i dont think they put their best effort to ban these people when the influx of cheaters in the game is on low count, they start to take action when the cheater numbers increases. Anyway, i havent played the game in almost 7 months now, and i was playing it since open beta back in 2011. Have to say that my life has improved since not playing the game, less angry, more time, dont think i'll return to the game any time soon, but i wish you all good health and happy hunting ingame. For me it's ok if you want to show this content on your UA-cam page thinking that it will attract more followers, although I think it may have the opposite result to what was expected so I'm venting now what is not ok for me is making the video look like an advertisement for these mods and more! that you promote this type of illegal mod since at no point in the video you say that you do not use, that you disapprove of or that you are against any type of illegal mod including this one or that you do not support it. On purpose or not, I thought it would be a good idea to leave my opinion on this matter. One way or another, I am convinced that players with illegal programs do not stay in the game for long, and it is not because of any reaction from WG or tickets but simply that playing such an easy game quickly discourages and makes the player abandon WOT. There are several types of players, a specific type of frustrated player will always look for illicit means to play better, they have always existed and will always exist not only in WOT but in any game on the internet.
yeah I agree here. I've been online gaming since 1997 and played tons of games where people have cheated (MOHAA as a prime example). They get bored quickly, move on to the next things, do the same and then leave.
Seeing repetitive blowouts in my own matches leads me to believe this WOT player for over 10 years will hang this game on a shelf. It's sad World Gaming cannot put more people on the task of permanently banning these cheaters (as difficult that can be after creating multiple accounts) It will just get so bad long time players will walk away.
The solution is even simpler than that. Lock down the res-mods file and verify it at start of the battle through the match maker program. Problem solved, no more cheat mods. If you write a cool mod, send it to WarGaming and is the agree that it doesn't give a player an unfair advantage, then they can incorporate it into the games primary file in one of their update patches.
@@stevegibson743 you can bypass any anti-cheat solution. there are already cheats out there for this game that hook functions inside the process using memory manipulation instead of using the undocumented mod api inside a resource mod.
I haven't played in a long time now. When I do play I have never used any MODS. I think WOT should create a MOD-free battle type (Random but no MODS) and see how many choose to play MOD-free and if popular and successful then ban all MODS from all games. It's bad enough having to deal with "Wargaming Says NO" missed shots and low roll but having people actively cheating turns the game into a waste of time.
Honestly i never saw much issues with cheating in wot, unlike in most games cheats in wot don't give that much advantage, i do see people with aimbot from time to time tho, but honestly? Aimbots in wot are not as good as just having good aim. (Like seeing someone's aim snap from one place to another as i change angles in very robotic way to find best possible place to pen, it's clearly aimbot) I have 62% winrate, which i doubt even cheaters can reach if they aren't skilled in the first place. There is an issue tho, shit players often assume the only way i can get scores like this is with cheats, people straight up think anyone with purple colors is a cheater.
the only way wg can stop cheats in this game is make this game a closed server were wg has control over this game and mods, if wg did not put mods in this game they all should be banned, WG DEVELOpers need to make this a closed server

i remember i used back in 2018 a Tundra mod and at beginning of 2019 there were news Wargaming cleaning and banning people using cheats, my account was banned for that, but now watching this video with all those stuff and people are able to play years and years without receiving a ban, this is not fair....why wargaming leaving those people...why there is no download link for those cheats 😅

I encountered the red ball mod version that shows all tanks that fired, I only figured it out when I kept getting perfectly blind fired in my batchat despite never being spotted, I went back and watched the replay, and the enemy strv fired 25 shots blind in the battle, and 22 hit 😂
Hi Mr Addict! Yeah well now that I have over 140k battles, you will clearly began to notice if something is off. It doesn't always have seem too obvious, but if you are experienced palyer you can feel it in your spine already. Illegal mods have been a problem in this game from the start and on top of that there are in my opinion more rigged games too, mostly at Tier 10. The sad part of this all is, that many palyers want to get some excitement and relaxation from daily life and maybe from their job, but then you end up with a platoon, who completely destroys your game if they are those 'feeding' platoons.... Even if you don't think reports help too much, you can still put those players to your balck list and next time you are already aware of those players. They are shown even if they use the anonymizer, which was from start very weird idea in the first place.
As a premium player for many many years i am total disgusted by all the cheating. I did buy into the "there are no cheats in WoT" lie for a long long time. But things just didnt add up. So many weird occurences where i got hit that i started suspecting something was going on. And lo-and-behold i find these kind of videos. RIP WoT... it doesnt feel fun anymore.
Don't know man, those cheats look like disadvantages for me. Like more distractions and easier ways to make mistakes against actual good players. Some is just a little more extension of normal settings ingame like the outline mod.

blowouts aren't because of illegal mods, it's because of the shitty MM. One team gets stacked with good players and the other gets stacked with bad players. If WG were to add code to MM to balance out the teams you would see a lot less blowouts.
First, cheat mods should absolutely be decried and those using them permanently banned. However, these mods are generally used by terrible players, and don't increase their performance very much. Not only that, these mods would only help highly skilled players moderately. That being said, if you yourself are anything less than maybe 1.600 WN8, these mods will be an advantage over you. I don't want to validate or minimize these mods at all, but I do want to reassure folks that situations where these mods make more than a little difference are very, very rare. Now I'll speak a little on my own experience: I've played over 40.000 games over 11 years and am around 4.100 recent WN8 and 68% wins (tier 8+). I have literally never had a situation in which something has happened in one of my games and my thought is that it's a cheater. There may have been cheaters, but the difference in their performance must have been generally negligible. Absolutely scummy to cheat in any game. Absolutely should be banned. Absolutely should be called out every time. But it's not turning any bad (cheating) players good.

The reason purple players struggle less than blue, green, yellow, orange, and red players is that purple players know more about the game and put that knowledge into practice. An orange player with these mods will beat an orange player without them, but an orange player with these mods is still going to perform worse than a green player.
Yeah, it look so stupid too, and now I understand why the players are so bad, with cheat they are even in more disadvantages. Like the mod showing the moving tank model at last location spotted, what is the point of it if not to encourage dumb people to shot and get spotted. The red ball mod is kinda cheating but not much impact in the game. The tree clearing mod is in between, good for ADHD players, useless for good players, bad for average and below players because spotting system with double bushes mechanic - if you are in sniper mode, you need to make sure you have double bushes or 15m away from the bush for reducing chance of spotted, with mod on, it's easier to make that mistake.
Ya there was a documented video of the biggest two-dozen of them used by Clans way back before War Thunder was around. It's why I lost interest in the game. Game hasn't been 'Clean' since just after Beta-Testing.
Cheat mods are common and cheap. Most of them are identifiable by wargaming anti cheating software. What is more worrisome and prevalent is the game rigging and booster companies that don't need any mods but use platoons to 'boost' certain players stats and rig games.

Only the arty tracer tracker is a "cheat" and the laser coming from the enemy gun. Everything else is useless/you dont need them at all. Great players do everything shown here but without mods
So as you can see in the video despite all the mods he is using the shots he take are still subject to Dispersion and penetration RNG which are calculated server side. So yes cheats exist but a 45% winrate, red wn8 player without cheats will with cheats never become a 55+% winrate, purple player.. the only mods that annoy me are the destruction mod (to be honest: only useful in the endgame not at the start when 15 tanks destroy objects). And the redball arty mod.. but hey, arty players can move as well you know.. they have a W key too.
@@GewelReal if you are unaware of your suroundings cheats might help you to get an extra shoot sometimes, but as soon as you are out of position you're dead anyway.

WoT was hacked around 3 months out of beta-testing, with a raft of them when Clan Wars and the leaderboards started. War Thunder didn't even last that long with early hacks appearing before Beta-testing had even finished.
I always play Vanilla and I tried the Aislin pack that is the most popular one. But i cannot find any mod that blocks special commands like "help" and pingings.
Most of this mods are useless or not needed actually, and just make the GUI dificult to use. But there are some really dangerous and ruining the game.....

Observer mode should be legal, is not giving you any advantage. It is just showing how many of your dead teammates are whatching your game, after they are dead. This is also used in the turnaments, is similar to Turnament observer, but cannot see both teams. In urnament you can see both teams, with Observer, only your team is possible to watch your gameplay.
I don't know why doesn't WG (WARGAMING) ban those cheaters, and why does cheat modes exists... I could believe, that peoples are leaving the game because those cheats!! (im not nerd, im just saying it to those who don't knows why people use cheats) and those peoples are using it, because they are too lazy to play it with brains and not with mods!! So if WG will see this (i think not) then will finally understand, that peoples are crying, because they got times to know the game, and the unfair has been born sadly!!!
It depends on how much money the player spends on the game. The more you spend the less likely you are to get banned. Some will say that I’m full of shit and those are probably some cheaters themselves. WG will see the players making them $$$, so why would they ban them.

bro this cheats give so litte advantage. The only usefull thing is destruction mod and arty marker and tundra. But these only give you advantage in some niche situations.
Sadly tanks is full of mods that are cheats, people who claim you carnt cheat either use them, or to dumb to spot them. And get heavily used I events and competive modes.
I have around 30k games and i have WR of around 51.5%. My opinion is that cheats are very prevalent in this game. I believe the guy who says that WG cant catch him, they can probably just catch people who makes pattern mistakes (rigging the game with multi accounts and such), but i don't think they even bother with that. EDIT: i also believe reporting is DEV0 type of thing. You can actually report same person 2x, once in match and once outside match. For same offense....
Cheating can't be that bad if my 18k games are enough to get the third mark on basically any tank except the CW stuff. Like in theory I'd be competing with a permanent disadvantage wich it doesn't feel like
Today, enemy team knows where your team is going, after 5 seconds. The guy saying "there is no cheats" is totally clueless. There is at least 6 subscription modpacks with everything you need. These packs have each at least 5000 customers, plus many share login so 1 customer equals 3 players, sharing cheat. 6*10000 is 60000 cheaters MINIMUM. Wake up, noob.
My question is how did u get these videos? These aren’t videos up on wargaming site. Did the person playing the game send u a video of them cheating? And if so why not turn the video over to wargaming to show these cheats? Also seems his team had a lot of team kills on it looks like almost half the team was blue tanks meaning they did team kills. And what’s with the white grid like lines throughout the video ? With all of these cheats going all the laser lines and the white grid like lines in the replay how does anyone handle all that bs? And is this the same person in all videos? One last thing is this normal and if so why aren’t more cc’s like QuikieBaby showing these videos?
the 'grid lines' show the vertical and horizontal gun limits. the lines on the left and right show for tanks without a rotatable turret. he most likely found a video of the wotzj mod on youtube.

Hello. I appreciate your work but I don't understand why you are trying so hard to show players who cheat? WG hasn't banned an account after this CW and I think there were thousands who used banned modes.
You need to send these files to WG, I'm curious what they'll say? Anyway, until I see an initiative from WG to block these mods and players who cheat, I'm not putting another cent into this game!
Man I am at least a decent player but yea these cheat mods have been in the game for a long time now. NA is full of them but if you play well these don't even allow the cheaters to really prosper from them all that much. There is two other cheats one that allows the live tank armor inspector that you see from info websites to be used so it shows the weak spots way easier. The other one that I am aware of that requires sync dropping, this feeds the cheater live info of every position of the other team to the cheater so it is like they are perma lit right from the start it used to be a specialized client that just did so by grabbing the info from the server without the need of the sync dropping.
there never was a cheat that was able to get the info of the players off the server. that's impossible. it's all just rigging. it always was. bot programs like simp would show you where the enemies are, even if they are not spotted. because you got another simp user in the enemy team (either one of your bots, or a stranger).
Infact there is one discovered just recent with boxes in the exact positions and live updates where the players are at. Dont even need to sync drop for this one.
Perspective of a Unicom, but this video is kind of a lot about nothing. There’s really nothing that was shown here that good players basically couldn’t already do without mods. Take the laser pointer mod, you can already see where the enemies are aiming based on the direction of their gun barrels. The mod calculating and suggesting where to aim, yet it got messed up with micro movements and made aiming manually harder by clogging up the screen with unnecessarily information. The wall hack mod? There are legal settings for extra zoom out. You can already see around corners legally by just zooming out. Similar with the settings with penetration colors indicating your likelihood to penetrate the enemy. If these were all legal mods, the only one I could see being worth downloading would be the ghost model one with last spotted tanks to help with blind fires. You can sort of accomplish the same task by pinging the map at last spotted locations (which is legal mod in xvm) and then firing in the direction of the ping on screen, but it’s not going to be as effective. Yet rather than just learning the game mechanics or getting good at the game way too many people want to take the easy way out and claim that others must be cheating.
I've been in a top 5 clan for a long time now on NA and can't think of a single member of any clan I've been in that has been called out for cheating. I play completely vanilla with no mods. I think you are just bad at the game and assume anyone better than you is cheating.

@@rowdyyy23 They're called rerolls, the amount of cheaters in wot is low and they do get banned. I dont think WG looks at people randomly so if you think someone is cheating report them and you'll find out if they're cheating cause they will be banned.

And what I have my doubts about after 8 years of playing is that things are being concealed about how some people get their statistics so high. Really, I have my doubts about whether it is all fair and I am not talking about the banned mods.

I am being killed more and more in my arty with counter shots from distance. Not counter arty btw. Just in the beginning of the battle, afrer 1 or 2 shots. Bamm.
If I receive 1 counter shot, as long as it doesn’t kill me, I move between shots from that point on unless I see enemy arty hit circle on mini map and know I’m safe to fire another shot in the same spot.
@@What_Other_Hobbies yes i do the same, but countershot does not come from arty, mostly a sniper TD which most probably is in the other corner of the map. That is why it is suspicious

Hi there i feel you when you referring about straggling to maintain a good performance in the game but there are 2 questions that i'd like to ask to all of us before i conclude my own opinion about how this thing would be eliminated from 😮the game once and for all Question 1 if this moron was using cheats to rig the game was also stupid enough to post a video of it as well or he was promoting this mods in a matter for players to purchase these mods from whoever is selling them? Question 2 who is selling this mods and what's his relationship with Wargaming based to the non take action policy of the company, why because i don't buying the response of WG that they monitoring automatically the game and once in a year they banning some 1000 to 1500 morons for using illegal mods which by the way it's an irony from WG's side cause we're not feeling well by knowing that some of the free using illegal mods players getting a ban while the paid illegal mods players playing the game all along since day one without ever get caught from WG. As a solution to this phenomenon WG should follow what ESL events are doing for years now in a matter to enter their events your entry should pass an extensive inspection in a matter to get connected to their events and start playing. I don't know why WG don't do that or trying to stop people from entering their platform if they don't require a clean mods free account which is easy to do because of their Game Center app. So it is a win win situation no one is getting banned they don't lose clients and everybody's happy mabe a little bit less unicums i assume but this is not the case. Last but not least my theory is that they might selling these illegal mods by them selves with a different company name and there are a lot of money in this business my friend so..... As far as I know these mods are free, so noone is selling them. I might be wrong on this tho. Passing some extensive inspection sounds like it would drop the playerbase by alot. It would require WG to get access to the players computer to scan for mods. Wh knows what else they would get access to? I would stop playing if that happened. Also, there are many mods that are completely fine and legal. Unicums rarely use mods, so they would probably be happy. It's the average and below players that use these illegal mods. And still they don't get enough advantage to play at unicum level. But they ocasionally would be able to ruin the battle of a good player in a good position just because an illegal mods tells where they are or similar.
Twice in the last two days I have been hit even though not spotted after the first hit I moved still not spotted, hit again every shot hit me finally killing me. It was impossible to have known I was there in the first place yet his gun tracked me perfectly and the same thing the next day. Evidently there is a growing amount of people using cheat mods in the game which is going to ruin this game for good.
I'm 99% sure you were perma and simply didn't realize, even if somebody were using these cheats they'd not be that obvious. Especially not two days in a row. I played 2000 battles over the last 60 days and apart from the usual bullshit, theres no sudden Cheater epidemic... And trust me I'm actively searching for this kind of stuff when I'm sweating for marks, especially when in cope-mode
@@Terrorbrot I'm 100% with you on this. I would say most battles still play out as normal. Taken some ocasional blinds, some even when I haven't been spoted a single time, but they have mostly been in positions where I sometimes also shoot blind shots, so they were most likely just random blinds.
@@SoloWingGutman actually you are incorrect here. There is actually a cheat that shows where unspotted enemies are as boxes. It requires to have a player on both teams.
@@SoloWingGutman There is a cheat that shows unspotted players, look up "This cheat could ruin worldoftanks" by Daki. It probably works by two players each on the opposite team having this cheat and giving the info about their own team to the enemy cheater.
the red ball mod and the one that shows how much the arty is reloading for should be a basic mod for everyone. maybe that would teach those zero skill loser arty players how to play with tanks instead of cowardly clicking every 30 seconds from the redline

@@DP-gc7dz the issue is that it takes *zero skill* to play it, and in most map *you can't counter it* "arty shoot ewery 30 sec and there is a big chance to miss." and 15-20s stun. if there is 2+ arty then you are effectively perma stunned even if they all miss "If arty hit you its 250-300 ewery 30 sec." which is something you can not counter again. you will not be able to dodge it every time no matter ho skilled you are. the only reliable way of hiding from it is also just redline camp, which is not a good gameplay. "On the odher side Badger shoot for 400 ewery 5.2 sec ." you can *hide from it* and you can also *counter it*. not only that, but said badger has to *hit you* and also has to *pen you* to deal damage, as well as has to have a *line of sight* at you. *none* of which is required for arty "Play self arty if you think its easy." i have. it is easy. i could literally play it while being so drunk i almost fell out of my chair. no problem, just click every 15-30s... @@douglarse yeah I don't believe it to be a coincidence that it's always the bad players that call cheats after being blinded. I had people stay in the same bush for 3 consecutive shots just so they could complain after the game. Just in case Ricky doesn't know: one can tell the difference between shells going through or hitting an unspotted tank
you are looking at mods, those are only the tip of the ice berg and easy to get, the real cheats, scripts and hacks are much better, knowing where tanks are where they aim, decreasing enemy rng, making your own dispersion 100 accuracy. plenty of cheats and scripts out there but the only ones that dont work and get you banned are resource cheats. show where the priority the developers focus on their pay to win system
you can't manipulate the dice throw. that's server sided. so no idea what you smoked. the mod shown in this video is called wotzj. it is a ressource mod. and it hasn't been detected, ever. there is a public arty bot program that is called simp which tells you where the enemy players are, even if they are not spotted. cheats like these are game breaking. the one shown in this video is whatever.

This game actually has no big issues with "cheaters at the competitive level" these hacks don't help someone who is already very good too much, more of a boost for a noob then anything else. WARZONE, CSGO and Tarkov etc are 10x worse with hacks since they actually put you in an almost "God" mode when it comes to skill+information.

I never used mods in the game and never will and those who use mods are cheaters, but wargaming doesnt care, they allow it Hope one day Wg stops that and ban all mods along those who use the mods or mess with game original files. There's a few things in this video that are legal, such as the part where it said "destroyed", that is already in the game only difference is, it show a tank symbol with an X over it and just out from it it tells you what tank you "destroyed". The reload timer is legal as well, it's been in the Lesta version of WoT for a while now, and it was recently approved by WG and is available in Aslains. NOW the difference between the one in Aslains & Lesta WoT and the one showed in this video is, the one in this video only shows the reload times for the arty's and is shown on the players panel area. The one in Aslains and Lesta is part of the information that is available for the OTM markers. The armor penetrations % is also legal there are 2 version of that available in Aslains of which one version is made by CH4MPI. As for which mod/feature I'd like to see approved for/added to the game is the indicator that shows you where to aim your gun to hit a moving target as it's already a feature in WarThunder and I think World Of Warplanes may also have it. There is a mod available in Aslains that kinda sorta does the same thing but in a much different way. It's an XVM Sight Aim Info mod that shows you information like "Aim Time, Flight Time, Shell Speed etc" I don't see either one providing any significate advantage over anyone, if you have watched any WoT Streamers like Skill, Daki, Dez or even Lord Voldemort, you'll notice how they take their time in aiming and guessing on how much to lead their shots on moving targets.

those mods been used since 2014 so i dont think wargaming will change anything about it. In 2014-2018 all the top clans in the na server used at least the destruction map mod at the very least. after 2018 alot of top clans in na went away but then in general after 2018 the wot population dropped a lot and has been slowly dying. I made a new account and started playing on the EU server. Its much better but EU players play differently then compared to na players.
developers should make a fun game that isint pay to win, then we can deal with the cheaters

I dont think I would even notice the Grille cheater if I was in this match, yes hes a douche bag for cheating but 3.6K damage and not even top on xp is nothing to brag about, I would just think we got slapped 15-4 like the majority of battles these days. The obligatory reload times and RNG keep these mods from giving players a "god mode" like on other FPS games.
The biggest cheaters in this game are Wargaming themselves. These mods have been around for over 10 years, its nothing new
I run some of Aslains mods. I like customizing the garage. I also have Monty Python crew voice overs and the "Run Away" for when I'm spotted.
The only questionable thing I run is turning dead tanks to white.

The destructible objects on minimap thing is a double-edged sword vs good player.
I remember when usage of this mod was common among a lot of clans, and in clan battles we were shooting stuff on the other part of the map to confuse the enemy.

As a avid wot player i feel the knock down indicator and the lead moving target and the red ball should definitely be illegal mods they can give a great benefit to good players.
I know there use to be a mod in aslan that painted all tanks with spots to hit for crew/mods/fire chances. It might still be there i stopped using mods when wg brought the crew switching in.

A lot, slowly but surely WG catches them and bans them. My friend downloaded the same thing a few years ago in his main account, played for a week and got banned permanently.

Meh, I think Wargaming's RNG is way worse than this. When the game wants you to lose, you will lose, and you know it. My teammate and I were both on a Jagpanzer e100. We boot-shot heat rounds against an Fv4005, and we both bounced. We knew right there and then that we were about to lose.

I suspected counter arty mods like this. In some arty games I played, I get counter arty fire exactly where I fired last. As long as the first shot doesn’t kill me, I move between shots. Also I use the small gun in my tier 9 arty for missions, so enemy arties usually have longer reload time and can’t counter me effectively.

Yeah, cheats do exist, a long time ago these kind of mods did not exist (like 2011-2014 or so) , so people had the impression that there are no cheats in this game, then the cheating mods appear - this is why some people think there are no cheats for WOT
What frustrates me is the fact the big streamers and YTbers you always hear them, oh the cheat mods dont help you in any meaningful way, thats absolutely wrong, the mods dont help them, because they are so good at the game, a mod offers little to no advantage due to their skill level at the game.
But, they do influence battles greatly when there are players that are less experienced at the game and have a lower skill level.
For example 2 players, same skill level, lets say 1800wn8 or like 48%WR, one has these mods, one does not (clean), at the end of the battle, 1 v 1, who is the most likely to win? any reasonable person would pick the one with the mods.
Fortunately you dont see many cheaters in-game, although there are periods when by some reason there is an influx of cheaters in the game.
WG does try to ban them tho, can they catch them all? ofc not, but i think they do take it seriously, saying this however, on the bad note regarding this, i dont think they put their best effort to ban these people when the influx of cheaters in the game is on low count, they start to take action when the cheater numbers increases.
Anyway, i havent played the game in almost 7 months now, and i was playing it since open beta back in 2011. Have to say that my life has improved since not playing the game, less angry, more time, dont think i'll return to the game any time soon, but i wish you all good health and happy hunting ingame.

For me it's ok if you want to show this content on your UA-cam page thinking that it will attract more followers, although I think it may have the opposite result to what was expected so I'm venting now what is not ok for me is making the video look like an advertisement for these mods and more! that you promote this type of illegal mod since at no point in the video you say that you do not use, that you disapprove of or that you are against any type of illegal mod including this one or that you do not support it. On purpose or not, I thought it would be a good idea to leave my opinion on this matter.
One way or another, I am convinced that players with illegal programs do not stay in the game for long, and it is not because of any reaction from WG or tickets but simply that playing such an easy game quickly discourages and makes the player abandon WOT.
There are several types of players, a specific type of frustrated player will always look for illicit means to play better, they have always existed and will always exist not only in WOT but in any game on the internet.
yeah I agree here. I've been online gaming since 1997 and played tons of games where people have cheated (MOHAA as a prime example).
They get bored quickly, move on to the next things, do the same and then leave.
Seeing repetitive blowouts in my own matches leads me to believe this WOT player for over 10 years will hang this game on a shelf. It's sad World Gaming cannot put more people on the task of permanently banning these cheaters (as difficult that can be after creating multiple accounts) It will just get so bad long time players will walk away.
The solution is even simpler than that. Lock down the res-mods file and verify it at start of the battle through the match maker program. Problem solved, no more cheat mods.
If you write a cool mod, send it to WarGaming and is the agree that it doesn't give a player an unfair advantage, then they can incorporate it into the games primary file in one of their update patches.
@@stevegibson743 you can bypass any anti-cheat solution. there are already cheats out there for this game that hook functions inside the process using memory manipulation instead of using the undocumented mod api inside a resource mod.
I haven't played in a long time now. When I do play I have never used any MODS. I think WOT should create a MOD-free battle type (Random but no MODS) and see how many choose to play MOD-free and if popular and successful then ban all MODS from all games. It's bad enough having to deal with "Wargaming Says NO" missed shots and low roll but having people actively cheating turns the game into a waste of time.
Stop giving money to WG, then maybe they will make a decision and stop all this!!!

Honestly i never saw much issues with cheating in wot, unlike in most games cheats in wot don't give that much advantage, i do see people with aimbot from time to time tho, but honestly? Aimbots in wot are not as good as just having good aim. (Like seeing someone's aim snap from one place to another as i change angles in very robotic way to find best possible place to pen, it's clearly aimbot)
I have 62% winrate, which i doubt even cheaters can reach if they aren't skilled in the first place.
There is an issue tho, shit players often assume the only way i can get scores like this is with cheats, people straight up think anyone with purple colors is a cheater.

i remember i used back in 2018 a Tundra mod and at beginning of 2019 there were news Wargaming cleaning and banning people using cheats, my account was banned for that, but now watching this video with all those stuff and people are able to play years and years without receiving a ban, this is not fair....why wargaming leaving those people...why there is no download link for those cheats 😅

I encountered the red ball mod version that shows all tanks that fired, I only figured it out when I kept getting perfectly blind fired in my batchat despite never being spotted, I went back and watched the replay, and the enemy strv fired 25 shots blind in the battle, and 22 hit 😂

Hi Mr Addict! Yeah well now that I have over 140k battles, you will clearly began to notice if something is off. It doesn't always have seem too obvious, but if you are experienced palyer you can feel it in your spine already. Illegal mods have been a problem in this game from the start and on top of that there are in my opinion more rigged games too, mostly at Tier 10. The sad part of this all is, that many palyers want to get some excitement and relaxation from daily life and maybe from their job, but then you end up with a platoon, who completely destroys your game if they are those 'feeding' platoons.... Even if you don't think reports help too much, you can still put those players to your balck list and next time you are already aware of those players. They are shown even if they use the anonymizer, which was from start very weird idea in the first place.

As a premium player for many many years i am total disgusted by all the cheating. I did buy into the "there are no cheats in WoT" lie for a long long time. But things just didnt add up. So many weird occurences where i got hit that i started suspecting something was going on. And lo-and-behold i find these kind of videos. RIP WoT... it doesnt feel fun anymore.
Don't know man, those cheats look like disadvantages for me. Like more distractions and easier ways to make mistakes against actual good players. Some is just a little more extension of normal settings ingame like the outline mod.
Wg is the one who sells those cheats.
Directly? I doubt but it has long been suspected that some employees are collaborating and likely getting paid for information that allows them to bypass detection.

Showing percentage of the penetration chance is fully legal, it is part of many modsand mod packs, it is included in many Crosshair mods.
blowouts aren't because of illegal mods, it's because of the shitty MM. One team gets stacked with good players and the other gets stacked with bad players. If WG were to add code to MM to balance out the teams you would see a lot less blowouts.

true. even was a requirement for clan wars in the past.
First, cheat mods should absolutely be decried and those using them permanently banned.
However, these mods are generally used by terrible players, and don't increase their performance very much.
Not only that, these mods would only help highly skilled players moderately.
That being said, if you yourself are anything less than maybe 1.600 WN8, these mods will be an advantage over you.
I don't want to validate or minimize these mods at all, but I do want to reassure folks that situations where these mods make more than a little difference are very, very rare.
Now I'll speak a little on my own experience:
I've played over 40.000 games over 11 years and am around 4.100 recent WN8 and 68% wins (tier 8+). I have literally never had a situation in which something has happened in one of my games and my thought is that it's a cheater. There may have been cheaters, but the difference in their performance must have been generally negligible.
Absolutely scummy to cheat in any game. Absolutely should be banned. Absolutely should be called out every time.
But it's not turning any bad (cheating) players good.
For example, yes the Grille cheated and got more damage than if he hadn't cheated.
However, it didn't change the outcome of that game -- a 15:4 game isn't going to depend on a bad player who has more information than other folks in the battle.

I say this in the nicest way possible: this is a skill issue.
The reason purple players struggle less than blue, green, yellow, orange, and red players is that purple players know more about the game and put that knowledge into practice. An orange player with these mods will beat an orange player without them, but an orange player with these mods is still going to perform worse than a green player.

Yeah, it look so stupid too, and now I understand why the players are so bad, with cheat they are even in more disadvantages. Like the mod showing the moving tank model at last location spotted, what is the point of it if not to encourage dumb people to shot and get spotted. The red ball mod is kinda cheating but not much impact in the game. The tree clearing mod is in between, good for ADHD players, useless for good players, bad for average and below players because spotting system with double bushes mechanic - if you are in sniper mode, you need to make sure you have double bushes or 15m away from the bush for reducing chance of spotted, with mod on, it's easier to make that mistake.

Ya there was a documented video of the biggest two-dozen of them used by Clans way back before War Thunder was around. It's why I lost interest in the game. Game hasn't been 'Clean' since just after Beta-Testing.
Cheat mods are common and cheap. Most of them are identifiable by wargaming anti cheating software. What is more worrisome and prevalent is the game rigging and booster companies that don't need any mods but use platoons to 'boost' certain players stats and rig games.
What does does kind of explain how sometimes I’m hit out of the blue with no warning thanks for bringing this to light. Please send wargame any strongly worded letter and a copy of this video.
Aimbot users are pretty easy to spot with their robotic and chaotic aiming (when it keeps changing spots to aim looking for best place to pen)
Only the arty tracer tracker is a "cheat" and the laser coming from the enemy gun. Everything else is useless/you dont need them at all. Great players do everything shown here but without mods
So as you can see in the video despite all the mods he is using the shots he take are still subject to Dispersion and penetration RNG which are calculated server side. So yes cheats exist but a 45% winrate, red wn8 player without cheats will with cheats never become a 55+% winrate, purple player.. the only mods that annoy me are the destruction mod (to be honest: only useful in the endgame not at the start when 15 tanks destroy objects). And the redball arty mod.. but hey, arty players can move as well you know.. they have a W key too.

this is quite interesting case how cheat mode tried it best to get advantage in game that as far as im aware, 100% server side
WoT was hacked around 3 months out of beta-testing, with a raft of them when Clan Wars and the leaderboards started. War Thunder didn't even last that long with early hacks appearing before Beta-testing had even finished.
I always play Vanilla and I tried the Aislin pack that is the most popular one.
But i cannot find any mod that blocks special commands like "help" and pingings.
Most of this mods are useless or not needed actually, and just make the GUI dificult to use.
But there are some really dangerous and ruining the game.....

Observer mode should be legal, is not giving you any advantage. It is just showing how many of your dead teammates are whatching your game, after they are dead. This is also used in the turnaments, is similar to Turnament observer, but cannot see both teams. In urnament you can see both teams, with Observer, only your team is possible to watch your gameplay.

I don't know why doesn't WG (WARGAMING) ban those cheaters, and why does cheat modes exists... I could believe, that peoples are leaving the game because those cheats!! (im not nerd, im just saying it to those who don't knows why people use cheats) and those peoples are using it, because they are too lazy to play it with brains and not with mods!! So if WG will see this (i think not) then will finally understand, that peoples are crying, because they got times to know the game, and the unfair has been born sadly!!!
It depends on how much money the player spends on the game. The more you spend the less likely you are to get banned. Some will say that I’m full of shit and those are probably some cheaters themselves. WG will see the players making them $$$, so why would they ban them.

bro this cheats give so litte advantage. The only usefull thing is destruction mod and arty marker and tundra. But these only give you advantage in some niche situations.
Sadly tanks is full of mods that are cheats, people who claim you carnt cheat either use them, or to dumb to spot them. And get heavily used I events and competive modes.
I have around 30k games and i have WR of around 51.5%. My opinion is that cheats are very prevalent in this game. I believe the guy who says that WG cant catch him, they can probably just catch people who makes pattern mistakes (rigging the game with multi accounts and such), but i don't think they even bother with that.
EDIT: i also believe reporting is DEV0 type of thing. You can actually report same person 2x, once in match and once outside match. For same offense....

There is at least 6 subscription modpacks with everything you need. These packs have each at least 5000 customers, plus many share login so 1 customer equals 3 players, sharing cheat.

My question is how did u get these videos? These aren’t videos up on wargaming site. Did the person playing the game send u a video of them cheating? And if so why not turn the video over to wargaming to show these cheats? Also seems his team had a lot of team kills on it looks like almost half the team was blue tanks meaning they did team kills. And what’s with the white grid like lines throughout the video ? With all of these cheats going all the laser lines and the white grid like lines in the replay how does anyone handle all that bs? And is this the same person in all videos? One last thing is this normal and if so why aren’t more cc’s like QuikieBaby showing these videos?
the 'grid lines' show the vertical and horizontal gun limits. the lines on the left and right show for tanks without a rotatable turret.

Hello. I appreciate your work but I don't understand why you are trying so hard to show players who cheat? WG hasn't banned an account after this CW and I think there were thousands who used banned modes.
You need to send these files to WG, I'm curious what they'll say? Anyway, until I see an initiative from WG to block these mods and players who cheat, I'm not putting another cent into this game!
Man I am at least a decent player but yea these cheat mods have been in the game for a long time now. NA is full of them but if you play well these don't even allow the cheaters to really prosper from them all that much. There is two other cheats one that allows the live tank armor inspector that you see from info websites to be used so it shows the weak spots way easier.
The other one that I am aware of that requires sync dropping, this feeds the cheater live info of every position of the other team to the cheater so it is like they are perma lit right from the start it used to be a specialized client that just did so by grabbing the info from the server without the need of the sync dropping.
there never was a cheat that was able to get the info of the players off the server. that's impossible. it's all just rigging. it always was. bot programs like simp would show you where the enemies are, even if they are not spotted. because you got another simp user in the enemy team (either one of your bots, or a stranger).

Infact there is one discovered just recent with boxes in the exact positions and live updates where the players are at. Dont even need to sync drop for this one.

Perspective of a Unicom, but this video is kind of a lot about nothing. There’s really nothing that was shown here that good players basically couldn’t already do without mods. Take the laser pointer mod, you can already see where the enemies are aiming based on the direction of their gun barrels. The mod calculating and suggesting where to aim, yet it got messed up with micro movements and made aiming manually harder by clogging up the screen with unnecessarily information. The wall hack mod? There are legal settings for extra zoom out. You can already see around corners legally by just zooming out. Similar with the settings with penetration colors indicating your likelihood to penetrate the enemy.
If these were all legal mods, the only one I could see being worth downloading would be the ghost model one with last spotted tanks to help with blind fires. You can sort of accomplish the same task by pinging the map at last spotted locations (which is legal mod in xvm) and then firing in the direction of the ping on screen, but it’s not going to be as effective.
Yet rather than just learning the game mechanics or getting good at the game way too many people want to take the easy way out and claim that others must be cheating.
It’s rare to run into any gamer that actually thinks cheating is no big deal. Wow

I've been in a top 5 clan for a long time now on NA and can't think of a single member of any clan I've been in that has been called out for cheating. I play completely vanilla with no mods. I think you are just bad at the game and assume anyone better than you is cheating.

And what I have my doubts about after 8 years of playing is that things are being concealed about how some people get their statistics so high. Really, I have my doubts about whether it is all fair and I am not talking about the banned mods.
Biggest cheat mod in the game is the ability to complain better players out of the game for not losing for you.

If I receive 1 counter shot, as long as it doesn’t kill me, I move between shots from that point on unless I see enemy arty hit circle on mini map and know I’m safe to fire another shot in the same spot.
@@What_Other_Hobbies yes i do the same, but countershot does not come from arty, mostly a sniper TD which most probably is in the other corner of the map. That is why it is suspicious
@ definitely. But red ball doesn’t know if you moved. Keep moving between shots is the only way to counter these cheaters. That does make BC arties harder to play.

Hi there i feel you when you referring about straggling to maintain a good performance in the game but there are 2 questions that i'd like to ask to all of us before i conclude my own opinion about how this thing would be eliminated from 😮the game once and for all
Question 1 if this moron was using cheats to rig the game was also stupid enough to post a video of it as well or he was promoting this mods in a matter for players to purchase these mods from whoever is selling them?
Question 2 who is selling this mods and what's his relationship with Wargaming based to the non take action policy of the company, why because i don't buying the response of WG that they monitoring automatically the game and once in a year they banning some 1000 to 1500 morons for using illegal mods which by the way it's an irony from WG's side cause we're not feeling well by knowing that some of the free using illegal mods players getting a ban while the paid illegal mods players playing the game all along since day one without ever get caught from WG.
As a solution to this phenomenon WG should follow what ESL events are doing for years now in a matter to enter their events your entry should pass an extensive inspection in a matter to get connected to their events and start playing.
I don't know why WG don't do that or trying to stop people from entering their platform if they don't require a clean mods free account which is easy to do because of their Game Center app. So it is a win win situation no one is getting banned they don't lose clients and everybody's happy mabe a little bit less unicums i assume but this is not the case.
Last but not least my theory is that they might selling these illegal mods by them selves with a different company name and there are a lot of money in this business my friend so.....

Passing some extensive inspection sounds like it would drop the playerbase by alot. It would require WG to get access to the players computer to scan for mods. Wh knows what else they would get access to? I would stop playing if that happened. Also, there are many mods that are completely fine and legal.
Unicums rarely use mods, so they would probably be happy. It's the average and below players that use these illegal mods. And still they don't get enough advantage to play at unicum level. But they ocasionally would be able to ruin the battle of a good player in a good position just because an illegal mods tells where they are or similar.
Sure, 100% cheats are done inside wargaming.

Twice in the last two days I have been hit even though not spotted after the first hit I moved still not spotted, hit again every shot hit me finally killing me. It was impossible to have known I was there in the first place yet his gun tracked me perfectly and the same thing the next day. Evidently there is a growing amount of people using cheat mods in the game which is going to ruin this game for good.
I'm 99% sure you were perma and simply didn't realize, even if somebody were using these cheats they'd not be that obvious. Especially not two days in a row. I played 2000 battles over the last 60 days and apart from the usual bullshit, theres no sudden Cheater epidemic... And trust me I'm actively searching for this kind of stuff when I'm sweating for marks, especially when in cope-mode
@@Terrorbrot I'm 100% with you on this. I would say most battles still play out as normal. Taken some ocasional blinds, some even when I haven't been spoted a single time, but they have mostly been in positions where I sometimes also shoot blind shots, so they were most likely just random blinds.
Dude there are no cheats that can show unspotted players, you were just unlucky or in obvious position. Either way it's not a cheat
@@SoloWingGutman actually you are incorrect here. There is actually a cheat that shows where unspotted enemies are as boxes. It requires to have a player on both teams.

the red ball mod and the one that shows how much the arty is reloading for should be a basic mod for everyone.

@@douglarse yeah I don't believe it to be a coincidence that it's always the bad players that call cheats after being blinded. I had people stay in the same bush for 3 consecutive shots just so they could complain after the game.

you are looking at mods, those are only the tip of the ice berg and easy to get, the real cheats, scripts and hacks are much better, knowing where tanks are where they aim, decreasing enemy rng, making your own dispersion 100 accuracy. plenty of cheats and scripts out there but the only ones that dont work and get you banned are resource cheats. show where the priority the developers focus on their pay to win system
you can't manipulate the dice throw. that's server sided. so no idea what you smoked. the mod shown in this video is called wotzj. it is a ressource mod. and it hasn't been detected, ever. there is a public arty bot program that is called simp which tells you where the enemy players are, even if they are not spotted. cheats like these are game breaking. the one shown in this video is whatever.

This game actually has no big issues with "cheaters at the competitive level" these hacks don't help someone who is already very good too much, more of a boost for a noob then anything else. WARZONE, CSGO and Tarkov etc are 10x worse with hacks since they actually put you in an almost "God" mode when it comes to skill+information.

"Tundra" has a massive effect, too. Makes it really easy to lead shots in forests.

I consider any kind of mods for the game as cheats. I never used mods in the game and never will and those who use mods are cheaters, but wargaming doesnt care, they allow it
