    Thank you for taking the time to make the video while figuring out this project. I am considering doing some or all of the suspension upgrades and know nothing about it. This vid helps. Where did you source the Z28 and ZL1 parts?

      Finding the Z28 and 1LE parts weren’t super easy as I believe many of them are discontinued, but I was able to find left over stock at Rock Auto, my local Chevrolet dealer, and some random online stores. Patience and lots of phone calls were made to check actual stock. Never believe the websites when they say they are in stock, not necessarily true. Give them a call before ordering.

    How difficult was it to remove the bushing shell from the lower control arms on the front? Did they press out or did you have to cut them out?

    • @allenwoolsey
      @allenwoolsey  3 місяці тому

      I had to press them out, but that wasn’t hard at all. Getting the new ones in took more time.

    Great Video Bro, I'm getting all this too besides the Brakes/Rotors, already got them. So after a year how's the handling? and if so what would you done/chosen differently?

    • @allenwoolsey
      @allenwoolsey  Рік тому +2

      The handling is GREAT! I wouldn’t change a thing.

    MAN YOU DIDNT EVEN TRY TO EYEBALL ALIGN IT IN ANY WAY LOL

      Hahahaha. It was bad. I should’ve definitely done a better job before tightening everything down in the front. Lesson learned for next time. Especially on the 1969 Camaro I’m currently building 😊

    This is going to help me a lot, thanks.
    I actually bought a extra rear cradle to work on and put the new parts on then switch the cradles. How do u like that jack setup, I was not sure it would be tall enough to do this job. 👍🏽
    Again thanks for the video

      The QuickJack is amazing. Been using it for 5 months now and it has been a life saver. Definitely recommend it.

    Did you notice a difference? I just got my hendrix diff and solid cradle bushings.

    • @allenwoolsey

      I definitely noticed a difference. Which made the largest difference? I couldn’t tell you since I upgraded everything at once. I didn’t want to have to take it apart several times, so I opted to slowly gather all the parts needed and do one big install.

      @@allenwoolseyI don't blame you. That's what I'm doing too. Z28 upper control arms and bmr trailing and toe rods along with the bushings

    How much noice was getting through to the cabin after your install? Thanks, nice video

      My exhaust has always been loud (no mufflers), so I didn’t notice any new cabin noise.

    How is the Rear bmr Upper Control Bushing holding up?

    • @allenwoolsey
      @allenwoolsey  2 роки тому +1

      So far so good! I only have about 500 miles on it with those bushings. My driveshaft is not right so I ordered another one which is taking 6-8 weeks to get to me. Once I have it on, I can test the car more. Right now I have too much vibration at above 80mph.

    Should I do the same thing for my 2LT/RS? I am hearing a lil knock in my front drivers side when I hit a bump I know I need to replace some stuff no experience with this and need help.

    • @allenwoolsey
      @allenwoolsey  Рік тому +1

      I would first identify the issue and then go from there. Replacing parts blind can be costly and frustrating.

      @@allenwoolsey Idk how to identify if I look under the car. What type of place should I take it to? I live in Evansville Indiana

      @allenwoolsey  Рік тому

      @@Skippygoesharder I would try and find a mechanic that you can trust and that has worked on Camaros before. Best bet is to get on the Camaro forums and ask there.
