Great how to video! Nice to see another classic upgrade.
Awesome video!!! Can you do a video on upgrading the alternator or upgrading the charging system? That'll be very helpful. Working on more DIY projects
Just started doing my first restomod on a 66 mustang and had looked into the ridetech street grip. I was having a hard time finding reviews and videos on it so this helps a lot with my confidence in purchasing the kit. Also, I just got some feed back from trusted and experienced rebuilders today that Ridetech is “high end” and is a great product for the money. Ridetech will have my money as soon as I save a few more penny’s :D
definitely something im saving up for on my convertible 65 im bringing to life!
Great vid! Thank you for not including distorted Les Pauls and Stratocasters in the background!
I've already done all of these mods to my car, but I just enjoy watching your videos so much!
Awesome! Thank you!
Also added the ride take for link the time with the front suspension Now it’s going to be a super Mustang
Im here for the music love it!!!!
Interested in the performance use of the rear mono-leafs? How do they deal with axle-wrap and spring flex under hard braking or acceleration?
Love that watch :P
I appreciate the time you took to do the video. I think the Shelby drop did more for the handling than a freshening up of the components. I am shopping for a complete performance suspension for my Fastback so watching this was good information and probable sufficent for most people at a price point. Did I miss it or did you say how much the kit was?
Very cool
I have the ride tech tru Turn system on my 65 Mustang handles awesome I can turn corners whatever I want with no problems nobody roles Is 3500 for that system but is well worth it
How is it in terms if comfort is it stiff or comfortable
@Jarron Ellis Does their True Turn system compliment the Street Grip Suspension?
The brake bleed screw is on the outside of the caliper. What brand are those? Seems like it would be way easier to bleed them with the screw on the outside.
What type of rear brakes are those SSBC?
Are you going to make upgrade kits for the 67-70 mustangs?
What is that spring compressor?! Please tell me you sell that one...
What kind of brakes are in the front as well?
I've seen this video 1,000 times and counting. Lol
Did this kit eliminate the export brace?
Great thankyou
Does this lower the front end stance?
Like the vid,,, BILL,does anybody make a 4 link kit for older stangs?
Ridetech also makes a rear 4-link. www.cjponyparts.com/ridetech-4-link-bolt-on-1965-1970/p/12087199/
Do you have similar product for 68 mustang coupe?
What's the wheel and tire size on the car
What are the size of rims on the car ?
Just searched this product and I dont see it on your page.
What is the steering wheel on this car?
Well now it's time for a borgeson steering box upgrade... Not N or rack pionion but a intregal box
What happened to the strut brace?
Thonking the same thing. Lord knows these cars need all the bracing they can get.
How much I need that
Is there only the rear suspension of this kit for sale?
filipe neto yeah they sell it separately, and honestly I can’t recommend it at all. I bought just the leaf springs and bushings alone from ridetech and their customer service is horrible. Took them over a month to send my order, and when I was installing them on my car, the hardware that they provided did not fit at all. The ubolts were too big for the factory 8in rear axle, the lowering block pins were too tall and small, and it was missing 2 of the 3/16ths spacers that go between the lowering block itself. I ended up having to buy a new lowering block and ubolt kit to get these springs mounted in my car.
Not worth the money
Do they make it for a 69?
www.cjponyparts.com/ridetech-suspension-system-streetgrip-small-block-1967-1970/p/12105010/
shame they dont do rear springs to match the front height. lowering blocks are bad for axle wrap.
Using a brass hammer would be preferable
Yo quiero saber si hablan español
Don't marr up the new cross shafts in the vice
I don't think you're build is very realistic nobody's bleeding and nobody said God damn once and nobody has thrown any tools !
Editing.....
My 67 coupe give Shelby drop .
that rear sub frame is a piece of rust. Put all that money in springs and bolt them to rust. Replace those frame pieces first. Yes i do have one. a 1970. i see he's using the original 8" rearend .
You could see the rust falling out of the car at 5:06.
$3000? Why would anybody buy this when I can spend a little bit more and get a coil over system? This is replacing factory components and yeah it’s several thousand dollars not worth it in my opinion
Fix the rust on that car before it is to late.
Chassis rails are rusted out.Holes right through the chassis.Waste of time upgrading this shit box.
