Thanks for sharing my set up Brian! The rest of my solo trip went great! Two weeks after getting home we loaded her up again and headed to Washington… Olympic National park, San Juan islands and North Cascade National Park… love this little Bushwhacker!! I am wanting to put the stickers back on it!! So many people asking about it…
@@DIYOutdoorLife I can’t get my husband interested in doing anything yet. We just bought an Ford Escape and concerned if attaching a light weight camper would work. I think our max is 1500. We reserved a camper in Gatlinburg in October and next summer a camper reserved on the beach in SC next year. It’s a way to get him accepting into Glamping😜. I camped with the family as a child with a pop up. We traveled the north and south and into Canada. With the X we traveled in a motor home.
@@lindaSee89 great idea. Take it slow, find very glampy places that are beautiful. If there’s something he likes, find a campsite near there. You’ll hook him…lol
Thanks fo sharing all of your great tips Dina! They will also be very useful for Festival camping where space is often limited. The silver tarp will cut down on heat and in addition to maximizing space , your whole set up will provide rain protection and will also some privacy when needed. thanks again!!
What I like about her setup is that everything is pretty much a "found" item. There's nothing that appears terribly expensive or "overkill." Simple, basic, eclectic, functional. Nothing fancy, gets the job done. Good deal.
I couldn’t agree more, practical, affordable and smart. Her setup really showed how experienced she is with tiny campers too- multi use and easy to pack.
@@DIYOutdoorLife sadly idk if they still make them. HD got a lot of one time buy husky totes and I just happened to grab some. I could be wrong though, haven't worked there in almost a year.
Just a comment: the Curt Echo does not use Bluetooth to control the brakes. There is a direct hard wired connection between the car and the trailer. The Bluetooth only connects the phone app to the brake controller. If the Bluetooth connection breaks the brake controller will continue to operate the brakes using whatever settings you last put in. I have used one flawlessly for 2 years.
A camper runs on battery when not connected to shore power. Since the battery is 12 V DC, the outlets will not work. Many of us have power stations or built-in inverters, with improved battery banks so that we can run our outlets. In short, the outlets will work on battery if you install the device that allows for it .

It was so much fun seeing your rig and hanging out! Get a sticker that says “ Dina Whacker” …lol
Thanks for sharing your set up with us.
That is a very legit awning setup Dina has! Always cool to see people maximizing their camper space inside and out.
Definitely expands the use in all weather, looked great!
At this point bushwhacking is just a dream. I like the simplicity of your set up.
I appreciate you watching. Do you tent or car camp still?

Nice setup I also have a Bushwhacker Happy camping from South Gulf Coast 👍
Happy camping!
The way the cabinet door opens above the a/c is brilliant!
Definitely a lot more practical and multi use that way. Easy swap, I thought people would like that.
Dina Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks! Dina is an avid camper. Love this gal!
She’s the real deal for sure.
Go Dina! She has a sweet setup 😁
Really smart and practical set up, she nailed it.

I agree, really smart and simple set up. I love the large husky boxes.

Just got us a t@g and looking forward to some great trips. Thanks for sharing
Lots of fun awaits… thanks for checking out the channel, tons of Teardrop material
We use the exact same red husky totes she does! They're water tight and great for snacks and dogfood!
I love the size, I’ll definitely have to get the larger size like she had.

@@ViewFromMyBackyard that’s a bummer, also explains why I had so much trouble finding them online
Well done campsite and interview.

Do the outlets work when just using the battery? Not shore power?

How did you get the stickers off it? Priority one..I am NOT a branded consumer cow...and will NOT be herded!

Sorry not into this just looks like a mess
Yea, I understand. It is authentic, a solo female camper traveling cross country, she didn’t gussy up to put on airs, I respect that.
Great trip!
Lots of fun.
