    Okay Brian - I am doing it. I have watched about 50% of your posted videos and have decided that the Bushwhacker (10HD - 2022) is what I need for my starter teardrop trailer. I will be heading from Dallas to Austin to get it early next month. We got the hitch on our Pathfinder a couple years ago and are getting the 7 pin & Brake Controller installed tomorrow. I am very excited!

    Lovely lady! I like her practicality! And her personal touch inside the trailer. Such cute pups! I will have 3 pups, 2 are smaller, on my journeys when I receive my ordered teardrop next year! I love my EcoFlow solar generator!

    My dad bought a patriot power supply and gets a little upset if I say anything bad about it. But he doesn't actually use it! He just has it for emergencies. I think a lot of people just buy them for emergencies and will have an unpleasant surprise if they actually have to depend on them for a real power outages.
    Great job on the tour. It's nice to see what clever things people use to make camping great!

      I agree. I feel bad saying negative things about anything, but I don’t like to see people be taken advantage of. It’s really bad for a high price tag…

    Brian,
    I’m starting to feel like a DIY groupie. I watch all of your videos and We own a Grand Design 5th wheel. I wanted a much smaller Escape, but sometimes you have to compromise.
    I just wanted to thank you for passing on your knowledge, it prevents mistakes and saves a bunch of time. We’ve taken your advice with AGM batteries, solar panels and controller. We ordered the fire pit you recommended yesterday, it looks awesome and I would have never found that pit.
    If you’re ever camping next to someone with an Oliver Travel Trailer, try and do a video. I’ve wanted to see one for a couple of years and I finally got the chance yesterday it was super nice. Super expensive, but really nice quality, your viewers maybe interested.
    Keep up the great work and thanks again.

      I’m thrilled that you’re liking the channel! I really appreciate that you subscribed and watched videos, we couldn’t do this if people weren’t watching.
      I will certainly keep my eye out for an Oliver trailer, always looking for exciting things to put on the channel. Thanks for tuning in, you are the best!

    What I like about her setup is how little power she uses. That's my goal - to use as little power as possible. And the 5-gallon water jug with the hand pump is a nice touch. Her galley really looked packed to the gills!

    • @DIYOutdoorLife
      @DIYOutdoorLife  2 роки тому +1

      Exactly, there’s a nice balance. Sometimes I like a sleeping bag, lighter, and a pup tent… other times I set it up like a 5 star hotel 🤣
      I love having the option. She almost exclusively dry camps and has a great low power set up. 10w panel on BW and 100w on Ecoflow. Really nice to learn from all these people.

    We need to get a new canopy for camping with our Bushwhacker. Could you recommend a make and model that is heavy duty and will work well for our replacement?

      @@brentwiersma8887 this is the one that I highly recommend. It is incredibly sturdy and I have used them for years without trouble. Highest quality hands down, although that makes it heavy.
      This link comes with the sidewalls, which I love, you can save money by getting it without them if you want.
