I also tend to place Oathbringer at the bottom of Stormlight- which is obviously still so high. But I did like Rhythm of War more - ROW is probably my second favorite. lol
Loving this video series! Unfortunately I couldn’t get into Kings of the Wyld. I’m stuck at about the halfway point. Maybe I shouldn’t have gone into it looking for something to fill the gaping First Law hole in my life. 😅
Loved this portion of the list! I’ve read a bunch of these recently, like Leviathan Wakes and a Game of Thrones, and definitely agree. Right with you on Time of Courage, Empire of Silence, and Kingdoms of Death, too! I really have to explore Discworld beyond Mort!
Loved this video Dan! So happy to see some GRRM on here, and of course I’m happy Ocean made the list. Leviathan Wakes is a great book too. I just finished Caliban’s War.
Thanks Chas! There should be some more GRRM if I remember correctly coming up. I’m glad you are liking the expanse. It’s an awesome series. I need to continue with book 5
I love seeing someone that's passionate and happy about a book. With that being said, I absolutely can not stand The Dresden Files lol. Harry is so misogynistic and sexist. I honestly think that Jim Butcher lives out his outdated fantasies through Harry in this regard, and it just makes me not like him either. Aside from that, I legitimately gave the series a chance. I read through to book six. Well, I didn't. I listened to the audiobooks. But I just had to give up.
Didn't you make a video last year about the fact that you don't like Game of thrones? Because now you say that you don't understand why people ask you why you don't like it. 🤔🤔
@@TreeBeardBookReviews the title of that video was literally why I don't like a song of ice and fire (and don't plan to read winds of winter). I watched it last year and remember what it was about. But it's fine, I don't need to dwell on it. It's still a good list. Excited for the rest of it 👍
No it’s totally fair to mention it. I think If I’m remembering correctly I said I liked the first 3 but the last two turned me off the series and that book 6 won’t live up to the built up hype that fans have. Thanks for liking the series. I should have the next out soon.
Treebeard at 13:00: "I'm not gonna spoil the ending of AGoT"
Also TB at 16:00:
Lol! Scumbag Treebeard. My bad’
@@TreeBeardBookReviews Eh, I figure that ending is at or nearing "Snape killed Dumbledore" levels of spoilability by now anyway
Yeah it’s like not spoiling the hobbit after 70 years.
I LOL’d at this part too! But it’s been long enough that spoilers should be fair game, especially due to the popularity of the show.

My video was about why I don’t plan to read book 6 even if it does come out. I do like books 1-3
