Good, comprehensive review. The ground clearance (lower than the 1st gen) is a bit of concern, need to really be careful riding over road humps.
I have 33k km on my 2018 Nmax and have never had a problem and I drive on steep mountain roads all the time. Great bike and I hate keyless ignition too.
Have you had to have the valves adjusted? ... Just wondering ....
@@richardwalker8398Good question. No I haven't. It runs so smooth and I hear no tappet noise but I should check it myself. Good mechanics here are rare.

Agree, I'm also not a fan of keyless motorcycles but it's top of the line and the only variant with ABS. Like come on with those stove like knobs?
We got sub-tank suspension here for both Abs and Non-Abs here in Indonesia
in the Philippines... most of the motorcycle dealers in Metro Manila will not let you buy this scooter in full payment CASH (SRP)
you can only own it by FORCE installment 😅

What kind of helmet and helmet cam do you have? I like the small side mount.
In Indonesia, the ABS version is already equipped with subtank suspension and Traction Control.

Buti n lang nkbili ako yamaha nmax 2019. Mas mura 119k lang dual abs kesa sa 2020 n 135k
I can buy in my place both adv and nmax at srp. At an additional 1.5K each for registration, etc. Need help. Still undecided upto this day, adv looks good and rides good negative is the height im 5'8" yet im having a hard time getting flat foot. Also the seat is really slippery for a not so advance motorcycle rider like me in can be abit unsettling. Nmax advantage is the price. I don't like the looks and the ride. I think it's alittle low.
Nice.. Good English review. 125cc nmax is 11L tank capacity! Should better get that. And I'm currently riding old nmax 2017. Stuckinh at no matter how bad the traffic is... Milage will never drop 35km/L. To achieve 25km/L like you said it's impossible. Unless you open full throttle. I'm riding at 65-70km/hr max and get 41-43km/L

same shits.dude there is no scooter out there no matter size who have good real suspentions.even the new adv350 who considering as adventure scooter have worst rear suspention even that forza.so dont seeking good rear at any scooter at any price unless you get the x adv 750

Keyless ignition is definitely NOT a plus in our neck of the woods, where cars with the same feature are being stolen left right and center.
Ayaw ko lang sa keyless na nmax. Ayy oarang switch ng kalan or washing machine.

Is this available in India?
To be honest I have and prefer the previous NMAX for the price. The OEM shocks are still as bad on this model as the previous, the buttom clusters are plain and simple, and the OEM seat is comfortable for sure, but only for 3-4 max of constant riding; Although everyone might not like long distance riding like my wife and myself....so take that with a grain of salt. I may be asking for too much. I like the key-less ignition, but that's a fairly cheap conversion to do on the previous bike as well. The boot space is AWESOME though. Lastly The rear end of the bike got WIDER! I guess to account for that AWSOME boot space. It makes city travel like Cebu, Angeles, Manilla, as such much harder during heavy traffic if you want to lane-split.

And how its performance in off-road and wet roads?
@@vikramgurung7781 In the wet it handles fine, but then you won't be carrying much speed if you're smart. Sketchy in turns when you're carrying speed with deep leaning, and a hospital trip in the making on dirt or gravel if the rear tire breaks traction. I had the bike snake on me "FROM A STAND STILL" with my wife on it because we hit a patch loose dirt. It's the OEM tires to be honest. I switched to a more grippy Maxxis tire because Pirelli's are hard to get here; but never had that issue after that.
@@vikramgurung7781 Both are good bikes. I just don't like the look and width of the new model. All of the same issue's are on both bikes, but the keyless ignition is pretty nice, and helps me feel better about the odds of my bike being stolen. The cover for the tank and under bone sits high enough from deck that with some padding you could sit there comfortably.

I wish they would bring the Nmax 155 over to the USA. Especially since they're discontinuing the Smax.
Americans arent crazy for small displacement bikes. Wont make much sense too cause they have huge roads there, dont need to weave in and out of traffic a lot unlike in the philippines.

I dont agree about it being smooth, I got off a Filano which is smooth is much better. The ride isn't that great either, again better on the Filano.
