Looks like the new PCX 2022 model has rear disc brake now. Unfortunately though it still comes with “motocycle” handlebars which i hate cause i feel like they are misplaced on a scooter which should be plastic all around. Honds PCX handlebars and buttons and switches looks exactly like on my CB500Xa. Nobody metions it so maybe its just me. Nmax wins on that point but something off with the front, a bit too classy looking whereas the PCX looks more aggresive just lacking a electric wind screen so you could raise it on long distances
This looks like a really good bike. But one issue that stands out to me I have to travel in most weather to work. If it's raining hard won't the left hand cubby hole fill with rain.

3:46 Some LED light indicators/turn signals, in new vehicles and motorcycles, have had visibility problems. Meaning you could not see the "turned on" indicators from certain angles, especially in bright daylight conditions. This could be the reason they still using the proven and tested, old fashion bulbs.

Hello Daniele, thanks for your continued support. I think in terms of handling, stability, they are very similar. Seating position I felt more comfortable on the NMAX. Acceleration data I did not compare but you can, so you need to watch both 0-100 tests :) In my opinion I would not buy the PCX because it still has the good old drum brake in the rear, which means that you also do not have ABS in the rear.
@@steve00alt70 That's what your suppose to do anyway. In dry weather. The pcx rear brake isn't that great in the wet especially. It's very easy to skid. Unlike the nmax cause the abs kicks in.
Agree the pcx brake is old school compared to the nmax, I ride both I find out the Honda is abit smoother, but still I'll pick nmax anyday, plus pcx is cost more in my country. Nmax looks nicer too.

I haven't been very lucky with windscreens, they don't protect me, they just create turbulence. I like a very short windscreen or no windscreen much better, like naked bikes.

It's a huge improvement over the previous model, but traction control for 12 horsepower is a joke right? I mean unless you are on ice there is zero chance to spin the rear tire
Hello, no, I don't think it's a joke. It's always good to have in case you need it. The rear tire can slip on many different ground conditions like road markings or on steel grids or when it's rainy.
@@BenalRida I'm sorry, but I can't agree with you. I've been riding for over 20 years, and there is no way you can get the tire to spin with anything under 80 horsepower. Even on a hard corner in the first rain, 10 horses couldn't spin the rear. Same as abs. It's just marketing.
@@paulwhat322 trust me it spins the tyre easily on wet leaves or mud or other slippery surfaces when you apply full acceleration from a standing still. I was shocked when it happened as I never thought a little 125cc can surprise me after riding my CBR1100XX hard for many years and also bought an MT07 2 years ago and ride them both hard

Best if you can sit on one at a dealers, everyones idea of fit and comfort differs. I,ve just bought a new nmax 125 here in France and I'm 190cm tall and 120kgs and it fits me ok. I will say the saddle is not as comfortable as my xmax300 but then again I'm not going to be doing 500km days on it. Only had it just over two weeks,well pleased.

@@Igor1989ist Here in France, the nmax is 4000€, the regular xmax 125 5500€ and the xmax 125 tech is 6100€, all plus registration and dealer prep charges. My nmax 125 cost me 4000€ after I received a discount of a 190€. I,ve read that the 155 nmax is available in Croatia, if you have a A2 licence this might be a better buy. So for France there is a price difference of 1500€ between the nmax and basic xmax, that is a big chunk of money for a bike with the same engine. The xmax has better weather protection than the nmax and owning both I would say the saddle on the xmax is better also roomier if you are to carry a passenger. The xmax is also 40kgs plus heavier than the nmax, a big difference for a 12hp 125cc engine. I have so far no complaints about the nmax, but the plastics do seem abit more flimsy than the xmax. Finally, surprisingly in the feet forward position the nmax has more legroom than its bigger bodied cousin, though in Benalrida's words when sat in the toilet position the xmax is slightly more roomier.
I gave up from nmax. It doesnt make me satisfied with all performances,but yes like you said it is available in Cro. (Model 155ccm). I'm still searching what I really want. Omg this 2021 version actually has a hazard warning light this time, Yamaha are breaking the boundaries this time. I thought hazard lights were suppose to be legally fitted to every motorized transport. 13 inch tyres and halogen indicators? c'mon yamaha its 2021......bulb lights should be fazed out
@@florme6494 Hello, I was about ready to order the Honda Forza 350 but the Honda dealer did not make me an offer so I had to decide quickly and had to get the specially priced used XMAX 300 which I bought in the end. So no preferences really, both are great. The Honda might be a bit better for smaller people (like me), since I think I can reach the ground better and it seems to have better stability while riding slow.
It would be good if you also include the mileage between servicing intervals for the bikes you review in the future. 👍👍 Fuel consumption and servicing fall in to the same category of expenses required to ride the scooter. 🏍🔥

The 125 pcx 2022 doesn't have abs. It's still drum. The only thing thats new for the pcx is different colors. Everything else is the same.

@@florme6494 Hello, I was about ready to order the Honda Forza 350 but the Honda dealer did not make me an offer so I had to decide quickly and had to get the specially priced used XMAX 300 which I bought in the end. So no preferences really, both are great. The Honda might be a bit better for smaller people (like me), since I think I can reach the ground better and it seems to have better stability while riding slow.

No, sorry, unchanged is not true. A lot of things have changed on the 2021 model!
The Philippine version is more powerful. 155cc 4 valves with variable valve actuation.
This one has VVA aswell, its just a 125

Fuel consumption and servicing fall in to the same category of expenses required to ride the scooter. 🏍🔥
Mileage is around 3.8 to 40 km/ liter.
