I came across this page by accident and it was the best accident , I’ve sat here for over a hour watching all the covers and look forward to the next one !
It's the kinda song that can leave a sock-in-the-gut feeling and that's a tribute to Andrew. Trivia; Steven Tyler's dad was Aerosmith's road manager in 1977, he rejected leasing the 27 year old Convair CV240 for tour duty, it appeared unsafe to him - six months later it crashed carrying another band. In fairness to the plane, the pilot(s) shared most of the responsibility.
Oh man what an amazing job guys. You all sound great. Plus I have to give extra props to the drummer. It's not easy at all playing and singing like that. Not easy at all. Keeping beat and plus keeping in tune with the vocals. Very great job. Rock on!!!!! Awesome bass playing and I loved the guitar solo dad.
@@TheNightOwlsBand If "Dave" (the guitarist) is the dad, He has done a good job being a tad-bit selfish keeping himself as the LEAD GUITARIST and teaching his kids to play the other instruments like bass, drums, keyboards and etc. (Being yet another "dime a dozen" guitarist that will NEVER stand-out, I completely understand the reasoning!) lol, was my javelin far from the mark? -------------------------------------------------------------- I JUST NOW found out Night Owls exist! I love love LOVE everything I've seen an heard! (Please don't shoot me for my bit of fun-loving jealous snark!) I'd give a lot to be in a band like them again! Oh, how I miss it!
@@guitaleleoeuvre actually both boys are better guitarists than me (dad). They also both play drums/bass/and piano too. The reason why I play guitar is because it's the only instrument I can play. Lol
@@TheNightOwlsBand I'm with ya! (I'm probably older than you, but I envy you having kids to pass-along the skill and love of real rock & roll!) Thank you! (I think "our generation" came-up with the BEST music ever!) Chopin and Beethoven can go fly a kite! Dude, YOU know! You KNOW! (Thanks for keeping it alive!)
The wait was worth it.. been awhile since your last video. Leon Wilkeson would be proud.. great bass lines throughout the song! Great job singing and playing the drums and dad rockin as usual!!! This was probably one of your best covers!!!
Thanks so much.. no what you see is what you get lol. There is nearly zero post-production.. maybe just some levels. It's probably his twin brother on drums who's singing harmonies with him
Great job with a great song. Always jealous of your family - my son (guitar and bass) is too busy with law school and my wife (drums) will never forgive me for telling her to hit the toms a little harder.
Long time Skynyrd fan here well done ✌️❤️
