I did Veganuary to help the planet 💚 It's March now. February had an average global temperature of 1.77°c above pre-industrial levels and had four days reaching 2°c. Europe was 3°c hotter than average. Now we are the ones sizzling on the barbeque.
A few minutes in, and I can happily promote my 'Oumph kebab' mashed in with my favourite, least oily burger patty -I think!, 'Future burger'. I get find these both in my local Tesco. Just thaw out the Oumph kebab and pull it apart a bit in a bowl with two forks, then I find a silicon spatula works best, just mash the Future burgers in, poke and fold etc. in a bowl, I also like to add some sweetcorn to this mix. Then I just slide it onto the baking tray and form it/them up with the spatula again. Garnish the burger with grated carrot, gherkin/pickle slices, salad leaves etc. I also like to use the Jason's Sourdough large bread slices, lightly toasted, pressed flat after, and spread with tahini!
