Took a bus from the airport down to San Ignacio that was like 3 or 4 hrs driving thru all the small towns was amazing. We got to Ambergris Caye (San Pedro) the evening before my bday and spend the night in a club/bar right on the beach dancing on the stage and poles all night. Our hotel was also beachfront. There we mostly relaxed but we did do a snorkeling adventure and saw the dolphins & sea turtles and we also swam with nurse sharks. What a beautiful country . We latinos hear about the Spanish speaking countries in Central America but not much about Belize. It seems like a quiet place. Wow I will definitely put it in my bucket list 🥰🥰🥰. Excellent video!!
This is so beautiful 😍 and you are making me want to go there right now. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️. Very beautiful island 🏝 ❤️. I would like to live there one day 😀 😊
I spent two years in Belize for work and absolutely love ❤️ the country - I consider myself the biggest ambassador of this beautiful country. The people are so hardworking, humble, caring and prideful of their slice of heaven. They are beautiful and kind and welcoming. The scenery is spectacular every day and the waters and the fishing out of the world. If you are looking for the most luxurious vacation, there are better options than Belize. But if you are looking to enjoy the outdoors, the beach, fishing and diving, zip lining, snorkeling, enjoying the ruins - Belize is as good as it gets. The food is fantastic with a ton of great local places to enjoy. I spent time all over Belize and by far my favorite was and remains Placencia - a small fishing village at the southern most tip of Belize. Great content here and I would recommend anyone watching this video who has not experienced Belize, hop on a plane and just do it. “ You better Belize It”
Thanks for sharing your experience! I am hoping to begin traveling and exploring the world. I am wondering how is it to make a living there in wellness and fitness? or tourism to do retreats etc? Is it worth living there even for short term and still live a nice chill fun life? WOuld love to connect if you hav an email i can send more questions and info. Thanks . Cheers!!
@@benitezenterprise For sure - a very eco friendly country with a lot of beautiful jungle retreats as well in the tourist hubs. Belize city is the commercial hub of the country but probably not where you want to base out of. Belmopan is the capital of Belize. Caye Caulker is a stunning, laid back caye, very slow and a haven for backpackers and those who are looking for R&R. San Pedro, is the most popular tourist spot with a buzzing night life and all of the modern amenities. Placencia, at the southernmost tip of the country is a spectacular lagoon with some of the best beaches and tranquil waters anywhere. Tourism is the bread and butter of the country - and it was decimated through Covid and the country is still recovering from the loss of tourism dollars. It is a country of only roughly 400,000 people and poverty is quite stark. But the people are beautiful, proud and welcoming. You will love it. Go there for a few days and experience the majesty and the culture of Belize - You will not regret it. You can make long term plans after that. It is a simple life there but one which will soothe your mind and take you away from the humdrum and the rat race of life
@@waynebaker5720 a lot of local fishermen there that can take you out for pretty much anything you want to catch - i know folks at Blue Horizon Belize who can hook you up
My Maternal Grandma, Stella is from Belize and I would love to visit there! We still have family that reside there, and a great uncle who has a street named after him! I am so excited and plan to visit soon. Thank you so much for this video!
I love what you guys do! I went to Belize for the first time at the end of January 2020 for a friend's birthday. I was there for four days. I mostly stayed in San Pedro but I remember flying back saying how I also knew so little and felt like it was one of the best fun and relaxing trip that I have ever taken. I smiled back when I think of my time there. I would recommend anyone who wants to experience something different to go there, it's not yet a country full of tourists so there are hidden gems, many of the beaches I went to felt secluded. If one enjoy diving, it's literally the place to go! They have such an interesting culture too, so much diversity. I plan on going back next year! Thank you PassportHeavy. Now, I can't wait for a full video on my homeland, Haiti, in the future!
My beautiful Belize 🇧🇿 my heart beams with pride! You need to come back and try out Ray Caye-a private island that is so dreamy. And head up North and visit Cielo restaurant for the best Fry Jacks and eat Orange Walk Tacos!!
My ex was from Belize. Y'all are some gorgeous!!!!!!!! women. A lot of people are caught up on Brazilian women, but my opinion Belizeans have them by a landslide!
I'm a Belizean American, I went there and stayed in Caye Caulker at the Blu Zen. Hung out at the Split. Being on that island was the most amazing experience I've ever had. The rich natural habitat is the most abundant I've seen. Clearest water because of the white sands. Amazing. This video you did the country's justice. The vibe is just like this video.
As someone just got back from Belize a week ago, it’s amazing. I would recommend splitting it into 2 parts. First stay at chaa creek for a great jungle experience. Then after three days in the jungle me and my family went the beach and stayed at Chabli mar. We had a great time and I would recommend it for anyone who wants a beautiful and exhilarating vacation.

@@alpratt7521 Thank you. Mom fully recovered and is now cancer free!! Cost of living is dependent on which part of the country you live in, but it is overall much cheaper than living in the states. When we lived in San Ignacio, we rented a 2bd, 2ba home with LR/DN/Office and large kitchen for $450/mo US. When we moved to San Pedro, we rented a 2bd, 2ba furnished condo which had stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a laundry room right on the ocean for $1300/mo + utilities which were mostly lower than the states. Factor in the cost of a golf cart rental which is exactly as stated in the video.

As a Belizean living in Southern California…I enjoyed your video of my little Country. Thank You…
What a beautiful country . We latinos hear about the Spanish speaking countries in Central America but not much about Belize. It seems like a quiet place. Wow I will definitely put it in my bucket list 🥰🥰🥰. Excellent video!!

as a belizean I am so excited for this!!!
i luv fryjacks, hello from san pedro!
We missing those Fryjacks 😍
Proud to be a Belizean, thanks for educating others about this beautiful Jewel.
🙌🏿 seems fun
It is a simple life there but one which will soothe your mind and take you away from the humdrum and the rat race of life
I'd seen also a video on Belize where they where catching lobsters.
Do you have any ideas on the best places to catch them
@@waynebaker5720 a lot of local fishermen there that can take you out for pretty much anything you want to catch - i know folks at Blue Horizon Belize who can hook you up

My Maternal Grandma, Stella is from Belize and I would love to visit there! We still have family that reside there, and a great uncle who has a street named after him! I am so excited and plan to visit soon. Thank you so much for this video!
This is award winning quality content on UA-cam. You don’t miss! And the quality keeps getting better. Salute to you.
I want some fry jack right now lol
My ex was from Belize. Y'all are some gorgeous!!!!!!!! women. A lot of people are caught up on Brazilian women, but my opinion Belizeans have them by a landslide!
im stuck working in a cubicle yet traveling the world via your videos. thanks for sharing.

Omg one of the best videos ever of Belize I ever seen thank you. Now I’m ready to go back. 🙌🏽🙌🏽💯
I lived there for a while. First in San Ignacio then we moved to San Pedro. We only moved back to the states because my mom got sick. I absolutely CANNOT wait to move back. It is the most beautiful place on earth to me from the people to the culture to the amazing views.
Aloha, hope you and your ohana are well, especially momma! What's the cost of living like?
