Nah, Cory became this giggling girl whenever Shawn was around. Cory changed a lot from his original character on BMW. He was neurotic in a comedic way (Like when he was diagnosed with hypochondria). In GMW, he was a forced Feeny, always trying to give a lesson to his kids. Sad thing is, Feeny had a life of his own. Cory was basically a plot device in GMW instead of an actual character. I think all the characters on GMW, the adults especially, were more like plot devices.

Topanga is still the dreamy girl next door, Cory is still the best friend of all best friends, goofy, good natured and caring,and Shawn has grown from a hurt, teenager who couldn't get out of his own way, to an emotionally mature man who knows family, love and acceptance.
Seeing just the three of them acting together again onscreen without any of the new cast around, it really is amazing how much chemistry they still have. It's fifteen years later and it's like NO time has passed at all. They're still able to channel the exact same characters and play off each other in the exact same way they always used to in their younger years.

What I love about the older cast of boy meets world coming back is how they’re still true to their characters after all these years. Cory is still Cory. Shawn is still Shawn.
I'm willing to guess he is, but I don't think a Disney channel show would ever go THAT dark. I can't think of another character that is close enough to Cory and Topanga to be godfather/mother.

Omg I almost cried when Cory said “they want you to take the rolls” In case you don’t know, this is a callback to the second season of Boy Meets World when Cory imagined what he and Shawn would be like in the future and the two of them were eating in Cory’s favorite restaurant “Chubby’s" and Cory keeps taking the rolls and whenever someone would reprimand for him for it, he would reply with "they want you to take the rolls!"

Matt Boesch To me that always remains the trippiest thing about the East Coast. I’m from the West Coast and the states are so much bigger on this side. It takes longer to drive from my hometown in Washington to Seattle then to drive between most of the major cities in New England.

In case you don’t know, this is a callback to the second season of Boy Meets World when Cory imagined what he and Shawn would be like in the future and the two of them were eating in Cory’s favorite restaurant “Chubby’s" and Cory keeps taking the rolls and whenever someone would reprimand for him for it, he would reply with "they want you to take the rolls!"
ha ha... I remember that episode from season 2 where Cory and Wendy (I think) were supposedly old now and at a restraint and Cory was like, "They want ya to take the rolls! "
God I fucking love every scene with them so much

This was definitely BMW humor at it's peek, I loved it.
y favorite shows growing up was boy meets world and buffy. so when this was announced i gave it not even the slightest of chances. all these clips ive been watching is making me regret it. its surprisingly well done.
