Ok but I am still so mad they never told maya and Riley how powerful Shawngela was, they thought it was just some normal relationship, WRONG, it was the ultimate relationship that built up the pieces of Shawn and Angela’s broken hearts and put it together, Katy will never compare to Angela, if they did tell them how powerful the relationship was maybe maya and Riley would understand why they were meant for each other, YOU HAD ONE JOB CORY
Well honestly I did watch the original series and Shawn and Angela weren't that great of a couple though. Because of Shawn's two weeks policy and Angela's two weeks policy. Because they both were afraid of commitment if they weren't themselves. Because I know Shawn wouldn't have been with Angela if it wasn't for Cory nagging them to be together and that's why.
I mean, I think they're cute, but it's gonna be cheesy because disney. The entire show was cheesy. What I don't like is that everyone's saying that their relationship was forced when what really was forced is Shawn being Maya's father. Though their relationship was part of that, their lines and their scenes were the most natural and real on the show.
Yes! Thank you! That's another thing I hated about this show! Yeah you were seeing that with Cory at the end of Boy Meets World as well, but that show was still universes better than GMW.

I love the original Boy Meets World. Girl Meets World gave us some closure about the original cast members. I do feel upset about canceling GMW because BMW had more seasons. We didn't get the chance for Riley and Maya in college years.

Now Maya is up to the point where she wants Shawn to be a part of her family which is why she is being possessive of him here when Farkle mentions Shawn remembering his old feelings for Angela. They could have made Zay Angela's child, who was living with his dad and stepmom. Yet, no one knew who his mom was because she was traveling his entire life. Then Angela comes back to be in his life, and she and Shawn got back together. Maya could have already been his daughter with someone else, or even Shawn and Katie could have been exes that got divorced. Maya could still be herself; as she processes the divorce, she spirals with various antics and emotions. Shawn swears off love, then boom Angela is back. They tried to make GMW was too close to BMW that it was not authentic.
Yeaaaa...*no*. The actings fine and in everything else Ive seen them in theyve both been good. Its just the writing. Dislike the show if you want, but maybe understand where exactly the issue lies
