I have to say, I think this might be the best overall episode of the series so far. A+ in my book. It was the most mature of any of the episodes, both in story and humor, yet it was still completely G rated (to appease Disney). THIS is what they need to aim more for in future episodes.

If they bring in Rachel they should bring her in when they reveal Lucas' secret. Cory could call up Rachel to help Riley and Lucas through the reveal on both ends. She could teach Riley to not let it affect how she views Lucas and then teach Lucas to let it go or something of those lines. Because Rachel has a dark past too. She was a nude model.

Wow, these scenes really felt like Boy Meets World did, both in terms of humor and heart. Girl Meets World sometimes feels a little overacted to me, but whenever more of the Boy Meets World cast shows up, the acting, tone, etc. seem to dial back a bit to what they should be. I know this show isn't suppose to be completely dependent on Boy Meets World, but I wish they could make an episode where it's all about Mr. Turner and Shawn tying up any loose ends. I mean come on, he's already done one with Angela. I wish they would more episodes that is all about typing up any loose ends. There's clearly a lot of people that is interested in these kinds of episodes.

He’s only in 8 Epsoides total for the spin off series. So it makes more sense to have the Shawn and mr turner reunion be in the series finale of the spin off
The conversation between maya and Mr Turner, should have cemented the idea that Shaun did not need to be Maya dad in order to care for her. He did not need to marry Katie, for him to be able to care. Mr Turner was essentially Shaun's dad, but we didn't see him marry his mom or dad, in order to be officially responsible for him

I’ll be honest, only time I watch girl meets world clips are when boy meets world characters make an appearance 😅. Mr turner hasn’t missed a beat… the way he pointed at Cory to answer his question took me back to when he was in 7th grade English. Man I miss those times.
They should've kept a lot more BMW characters on the show like Turner, Feeney, that janitor guy, that boy Eric almost adopted, Cory(and Josh's) parents, Shawn(Maya's stepfather), Josh, Morgan; and the series should've evolve around all of them or past and new issues

I’ll be honest, only time I watch girl meets world clips are when boy meets world characters make an appearance 😅. Mr turner hasn’t missed a beat… the way he pointed at Cory to answer his question took me back to when he was in 7th grade English. Man I miss those times.
They should've kept a lot more BMW characters on the show like Turner, Feeney, that janitor guy, that boy Eric almost adopted, Cory(and Josh's) parents, Shawn(Maya's stepfather), Josh, Morgan; and the series should've evolve around all of them or past and new issues

+Alexina Yevu His hand did move in the hospital, giving hope to Shawn that he would live. Also, even though Cult Fiction was his last appearance on Boy Meets World, when Minkus reprised his role on graduation day (as did Joey and Frankie), he explained that he and Turner both were always around, they were just "in the other part of the school." He then gestured a wave to someone off screen and said, "Hey, Mr. Turner, wait up!" So, he was definitely alive on all accounts. He just hasn't reprised his role UNTIL NOW, in Girl Meets New Teacher.

There's a later episode where Shawn and Cory gesture offset, calling it "the other part of school," and remark about how anyone who goes there never comes back before saying "hi" to Mr. Turner and Minkus off-camera lol :)

Topanga holds a grudge really long
This show had so much potential. But it essentially turned into any other teen show with the hokey acting
Again the best part of this show is Shawn getting to finally heal and be the man he always ways was.

Mr Turner went back to being a teacher after the motorcycle accident. Mr Feeny is his mentor/friend. Mr turner teaches at an alternative school for the "Harveys" of the world. I could see the drama and comedy in that.

Actually if u watch the hospital episode on BMW near the end u see Mr. Turnner's fingers move indicating that he would be ok. I remember that episode cuz I am 40yrs old & have a good memory

He points over there and they say "Oh...we don't go over there. If you go over there you may never come back." and Minkus, as he is leaving, says, "Oh that's ridiculous...Hey Mr. Turner! Wait up!" Sooo we knew he was okay he was just in the "Other part of the school"

they showed his hand move and shawn said he'd be okay. You didn't see him after that though because that was the second to last episode of season 4 and in Season 5 they were in High School. Mr Turner teaches Middle school.
I really didn't recognize him without the hair. But the moment he spoke, I knew it was him!
Binging Boy Meets World and hearing his voice come out of him now is so odd
