The texture similarity of bedrock and stone actually makes sense though, because bedrock used to be stone before being crushed under high pressure and turning into something unreakable.

It’s supposed to look like a face because the armor is really to protect an armorer from fire when he’s making armor, so it has some holes for eyes and such. Ik you’ve never seen it pull down the mask, but have you ever used a fletching table?

I can easily unsee all of these and some I even couldn’t see to begin with.
You can fix the stitching on the pickaxe if you download certain texture packs more specifically the vanilla tweaks texture pack scroll down to fixes and enable the stitching fix

no its not the same at all unless you're colorblind and your screen brightness is down low and you squint really hard then maybe you might be able to mistake it as rotten flesh but outside those conditions I don't think so. But I do think that it could look more like some kind of vegetable instead of sugar cane.

Yeah, the stitching isn’t the best. Even though there are resource packs that fix it, it’s stuck that way for me on Switch

Those white lines are when a process of something called "Stitching" happens. When you apply a texture on the same size of a generated blender item and you dont properly align them, you can find those white lines in the item!
The glazed has a sun texture as well
