Hey thanks for the video. Love all your uploads. Was wondering why I don't get a projection of anything that is in the background when I make 2d, only the section...
Might be a couple reasons
1 - make sure nothing is locked and you have the geometry selected
2 - all your make 2d layers are on after you make 2d
3 - that you have "current view", "maintain source layers" and tangent edges checked in your make 2d dialogue, not just clipping plane intersections
4 - nothing is blocking the geometry in your view
Hi, when I make2d the perspective section i get lines from inside the polysurface but I want to have the surfaces cut by the clipping plane to be either empty or a solid hatch. Is there a way to fix this?
Make sure that your poly surface is a closed polysurface and not an open polysurface. The reason you're seeing lines inside of the polysurface is because it's most likely an open polysurface, so it is appearing like a hollow shell.
