Hi to Betty and Jim, miss you SO much, thanks for introducing me to Richard. I think of you both, often- Namaste from Holly Golightly

i love this interviewer form Face Culture and the fact that he would always ask those direct and maybe a little bit not thought-through questions (for whatever reason, maybe just a culture barrier?) is why i always enjoyed watching those interviews. Most of the time he would put musicians out of their comfort zone but hey, they are out there to cope with that as they know because this is also a part of their job! they are not endangered species that should be protected from any kind of questions!
i don't think this is a bad interview by any means, just an unusual (and interesting) one!

I hadn't heard of this AMAZING "cat" until that year- 2005- my erstwhile hairdresser- her husband made me a "guess who these musicians are" - I got all the tracks except one extraordinary one- a velvet voice coming at me with haunting guitar- like Roy Orbison had risen but no- and my mom said, Mat Munroe- sorry if I misspelled! Mom! Listen to the lyrics! Is that a song he'd cover- well no! Oh I get it- you mean HE CAN SING!!!! UNLIKE DYLAN AND COHEN AND PRETTY MUCH EVERY ONE I LISTEN TOO - I like this personal- Dutch? interview too- musicians don't require "kid" glove treatment- like America's great Sean Rowe- loud applause- he didn't sing- this man's voice is EXTRAORDINARY! And his songs echo, harken back to the soul of rock- I'm no journalist! I LOVE, LIVE, for music- only wish I had all his albums- how does an incredible performer like Richard get air play- "alt" rock? The radio!!!! My dentist has THAT KIND OF ROCK ON- LIKE MUZAK- not jazz, not, hip hop, not rap, not sugar pop- %_$/7_&£€%_#"%*^€$/_7€^^7¥/='6h- Grrrrr ! So here we are near 2023- my radio is dusty! News! And it's bad...Namaste

Walk in the shoes of an interviewer. I thought because I knew my music, and artists etc, and the time it came down for my 1st (and probably last) my interview with Glen Campbell reminded me of Chris Farley interviewing Paul McCartney. Its not easy.

I really dislike listening to some foreigner with broken English, & who had not done his research!

Hi Andrew, sorry to hear that. Sometimes we prepare our interviews so well, but the conversation turn into another direction.
