What a beautiful setup and home for these babies! Might I suggest you move the camera slower and less. It's a tad dizzying. But again, beautiful loft and mice! Subscribing.

Oh geez.. if I'm a mouse, I'd LOVE to live in those open cages! And be camera ready always! I used a similar concept back in the early 2000's but have like 1/4 size of the entire room. I have to give up my mousery when we moved to a new place. But the memories of all those lovely days!
So cool. I love that set up. No wonder the mice are happy to stay. What a great concept. Instead of forcefully containing the animal inside a cage, it's the owner's responsibility to make the space so comfortable and wonderful for the animal that it doesn't want to leave.
I'm doing research into potentially raising mice for my snakes, and I am in awe of the care for these guys! They deserve better than dreary bins and plastic.
I actually feel like velcro is brilliant for the plexi glass, maybe you can find a color that matches the wood better? Doesn't seem tacky or anything to me, I think it's sleek

your daughter seems like she loves animals ❤️ i just hope they’re not in cages. I have a 5 year old rabbit and I’ve made the dining room her room. No cages, just tunnels, litter box, toys, hay, and soft fleece blankets

Hey! I used to watch your videos ten years ago and this just popped up my feed. It’s great to see how you’ve evolved since then. You were one of my favourite channels when first started watching UA-cam. Keep making great mouse homes :)
You can take that bottom piece off and carve a slit down the middle of the side as an insert groove for plexi glass. You could even just put a half piece of plexi in, where it only goes midway up. That would look really nice and still allow access while preventing jumping when inserted

You give these mice such amazing life's. I've had pet mice and most of em from pet stores are purchased for snake/reptile food. Glad these guys live a beautiful, fun and loving life in a great environment.
Such luxury for the dog; she not only has a dog sized cubby but a great big human sized bed!! I love the coziness of the bed nook, if I was the dog I would chose that spot the majority of the time haha. This whole room is awesome, kudos to you for designing such a neat space AND building it yourself!! Two things I'm kinda amazed/surprised by; the fact that the mice don't jump out (but I suppose they *are* quite intelligent animals and jumping out would kinda be suicidal, so it stands to reason that they don't do it unless they are young and stupid lol) and secondly that the dog is so chill around these small little creatures and vice versa - seems like the mice aren't bothered by a big scary dog? I can understand why the cat is no allowed in this room tho! Anyways, I don't know a lot about mice, only ever cared for them once as part of a school project years ago, but your videos are really interesting and adorable! Plus, I love room tours. And this room is really something special; well done!
To help brainstorm a more professional looking plexiglass attachment - maybe you could use strong magnets glued to the other side of the wood? So you don't see them from the front when the plexi isn't attached, but they'll (theoretically) work through the wood and hold up the magnets that you've glued or attached to the plexi.
Ok, so, this was randomly recommended and I have questions lol. Can someone help me out? Why do you have a mouse studio? Why mice? Are they just pets you enjoy? Are they rescues? Do you breed them? You said they fear jumping out, but why do they not climb out? I’ve seen mice climb some crazy things, and I would’ve guessed they could climb down.
