My mums ragi ball! Do try it Sadia, it's incredible cuz you can literally eat it with anything or without anything, either one would do XD Have a good day!

I'm glad you used a Japanese knife. Japanese people always say "itadakimasu" before eating. It is a word that expresses gratitude for all vegetables and grains.
It expresses gratitude for everything and everyone involved in bringing it to the table. People often look at the chef when they say it. It could be translated as "I humbly receive"
This is same a Indo Chinese Hakka Noodles/Chowmein. Just by replacing Bok Choy with Green Bell peppers in this recipe, it is the same as good old Indo Chinese Hakka Noodles/Chowmein in India. The most popular Indian noodle dish after Maggi 😊
I really can't thank you guys enough. We've been cooking your recipes with our friends almost every week now, and they've won their meat eating hearts over in no time at all. You guys have the type of meals that never fail me, the ones that I fall back on when I can't handle another disappointment for the week, and the ones I've been recommending to everyone in my life left and right because they're just so reliably delicious and easy to understand. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
It's true. Pre covid times I was going through a tough time. Watching Sadia enjoy her life slowly & embracing every moment gave me hope. I needed a break from people who were judging me on face value, watching Sadia's video helped me regain my old self back . Thank you Sadia 😊❤ may god always bless you. Ps. saada in hindi means simple , how apt for you right 🤗
Just found this channel and I agree! During lockdown I also found another incredibly soothing cooking channel who I didn't even notice was full vegan until months later (I'm a carnivore and love that channel). If you haven't found him already, give "Yeung Man Cooking" (Wil Yeung) a try, his voice alone and simplicity of recipes will make you stay!
Could you perhaps do a video just about the different kinds of cabbages and how to cut & prepare them? I love eating cabbage but hardly ever prepare it myself because I’m unsure about how to prepare it. Same goes for lesser-known veggies. Love your channel :)
I have never made a recipe so quickly after watching the video as I did today! Just happened to have the right ingredients from the farmers market. Side note: I do not use/consume oil but I made an exception here and added 1/2 tsp sesame oil for flavor. This was sooooo, soooo good! What time does the crew come to clean up my kitchen 😬😂
@@itssheils4296there are a lot of whole foods plantbased recipes that most of the time don't use any oil. It is a great way to learn about the techniques they use.

This is the best noodle dish I’ve ever made, thank you! I used rice noodles, white cabbage and Gochujang instead of Sriracha, and it turned out so good! ❤ I can’t wait to make it again.
This chow mein recipe looks so phenomenal! I’ve traditionally made something similar using soya sauce and cornstarch, but I love adding a bit of hoisin and oyster sauce too! Love the idea of adding siracha and rice vinegar so much! And for veggies a can of baby corns is what our family is super fond of. Finished off with a can of water chestnuts for extra crunch is amazing!
Used oyster sauce, my neighbour introduced me to casareep (Amerindian/south American Indian cassava/yucca extract) it tastes delicious, her noodles/chowmein is a hit and is requested by all.
Love the knife skills part! As a mom, cooking is a huge part of my life, and yet I've never learned a lot of the basic skills. Good thing there's UA-cam!
@PickUpLimes - this looks so yummy-licious and reasonably easy to put together! My wife and I love cooking together...prepping all the ingredients then putting it together and enjoying it. 2 questions if I may... 1) the chicken....is that just leftovers shredded with a couple of forks, or how did you prepare it? 2) On a scale from 1-10, how spicy is the sauce? My wife suffers from reflux and doesn't tolerate spicy meals much over a 3-4...

You are doing a great job for the society❤️ I was a hard core non vegetarian till I visited a farm and witnessed the horror of the dairy industry. The cow is inseminated painfully every 6 months so that calf is born. The calves are taken away immediately without a single drop of milk. The male calves are transported to the slaughterhouse to be killed on the very day. This process continues for some years till the cow is completely exhausted and later sold for meat. That’s the milk we consume. I literally had sleepless nights after watching the cows, their udders become so big they can’t even move. And they run to save their babies from going to the slaughterhouse. Thank you for these recepies so that people can choose compassion in their plate instead of pain.

I am julienning tears on how beautiful it is. Do agree on fried chinese cabbage, it maintains a good crunch. Definetly giving a try to this sauce. Peace and noodle 🤍
Looks great -- I do almost the same thing except I add ginger and use lemon juice and a bit of cayenne instead of your acid choices. Sometimes I throw in a teaspoon of hoisin sauce for the sweet.
