If the PKG isn't installing for you try renaming the PKG file to a different name like app.pkg or patch.pkg, something with no spaces or symbols in the filename.
It works for me after I rename it I go to notifications and downloads. I delete the error notification that cannot install. Then I run IPI again and it works. Try it Im on Jailbreak firmware 9.00. Thank you Modded Warfare for all your tutorials. Always watching here in Qatar
btw for any other people who had problems connecting to the ftp server after changing their connection to an ethernet cable, your ip changes when you do that!!

So you connected the laptop to the PS4 via Ethernet and shared your laptops internet to the PS4? Does that mean I have to disconnect my PS4 from using my wifi so it gets the connection exclusively from my laptop?

If your rpi crashed just close it and you'll see you game icon/card you were installing but it has a cross on it, just launch it and it will start downloading, just do not close the node js server running on your pc and you should be fine

Many things could cause this. If you lost the account those game licenses were tied to, if you lost the license .rif files from the hard drive or if you are installing the wrong version of the game. So if the title ID does not match the title ID for the game you purchased.

In 2024 I had to add the package to /data/pkg/ (Had to create the folder too). Pretty sure you can set up any path you want but that was my default. Oh and big thanks to the ethernet to ps4 tip!

Yes copy the fpkg file over to a usb, then install it through the debug settings after running one of the exploits that enables the debug settings. EDIT: I’m pretty sure this was covered already in a previous episode.

I'm still quite new to the jailbreaking scene, and I have a question. I've got a ps4 pro cuh-7000 on FW 7.55, and my console has a tendency of crashing a lot. I know that the succesrate of this jailbreak is low, but whenever it crashes, I can hear a 'click' coming out of the console (most likely the power supply) and it just deactivates itself. Afterwards the first press of the power button does nothing (except beep) and it requires a second press to start. The crashing can occur in different instances, the most common is when executing the kernel exploit itself. However, after running goldhen (succesfully) it can still crash when i go into the settings menu or when going into rest mode. Mira has only managed to straight up crash the console. I was wondering if this is normal behaviour or if there's something wrong with the console? I don't want to damage it.
Try a different host and for the click install a new (or old) HDD. Usually the click I think is due to the HDD which is normal, as it contains moving parts.
The clicking is fine, also avoid going into rest mode on 7.55 as it tends to crash. When you successfully run goldhen (or mira) take it easy because it will cause stress on the system software like what you said about going into the settings menu.

My IPI opens up to a blue screen and just stays frozen like that. Nothing happens. I've already transfered the base game, the game update, and a few dozen DLC files, all pkg format. Nothing though. Remote Package Installer does the same thing as well. Hangs on the logo. What's going on?

It shows on the pc that the connection is 1gbps and it shows on the ps4 ifconfig 1000BaseT full duplex. So is there anything I can do to get higher transfer speeds. Thanks beforehand.

hello, when i upload like a 40 gb file in filezilla then when it says it completed the upload but the file in the ps4 is like 36 gb and it happens all the time for me
I wonder why someone calling for guidance no one pay attention to him ! at first my problem was this : IPI couldn't reload the pkg file to install them. secondly IPI sometimes can't install the files. after 10 hours of digging I finally understood the problem was from the payload itself. in my ps4 golden v1.1 doesn't run ftp ( the ip it pop up after i run the payload but doesn't work ). I could use mira instead of golden, but after 10 min connection lost and aborted the whole installation. what should I do ? in my situation golden is problem for me !

Ok, i do this :-) but my speed is 35mb/s, its max speed of hdd i think.

The windows file explorer can connect to an ftp server by itself, you don't need to install any additional ftp clients.

Remember you need a gigabit router and compatible cable to support the throughput.

Guys if u have an error downloading games etc. Open the file manager and go to "user/data" instead of "/data" to download the pkg 👍

Happened to me with with some pkgs. Try renaming them if that don't work then you'll need to use a USB

Totally normal behaviour. My PS4 on 6.72 and a friend who is on fw 7.55 crash the same way. Don't worry about it

So here’s the thing. I’m currently running ps4 version 8.50 so i am unable to jailbreak. But would it be possible for me to change the hard drive of the ps4 and then simply install the 6.72 system software on it. Would that work @MODDED WARFARE ?

at first my problem was this : IPI couldn't reload the pkg file to install them.
secondly IPI sometimes can't install the files.
after 10 hours of digging I finally understood the problem was from the payload itself. in my ps4 golden v1.1 doesn't run ftp ( the ip it pop up after i run the payload but doesn't work ). I could use mira instead of golden, but after 10 min connection lost and aborted the whole installation.
what should I do ? in my situation golden is problem for me !
