By the way, in all Zhou Shen's live performances have not been autotuned whatsoever and he always sings with full open mic which not so many artists will do nowadays because of their abilities.
To tell you a bit about Zhou Shen's background. As one of you guys know that he got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now all around the world.
He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to study Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is extremely good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song which is the one you are reacting to on this video. His music has so many different genres.
If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people's souls. Zhou Shen's music is one of them that can heal your soul. Even with his high note, it will not hurt your ears, not like so many artists out there. Hé is big deal ,and you will never know any one like Zhou Shen ,the abilities of music and extremely wonderful human.... I didn't listen Chinese songs for over 30years until last year . Chaque jour !
This was Zhou Shen's first song on stage back in 2014. Since then he had released close to 100 new songs. This year alone, he releases about1 per week. Majority are awarded Top1 in Hit Song list in China. He is so popular that his new songs often hit 100 millions views in the first 1 week of release. He is hard working and can/able to use many singing skills in his songs. His humble personality has won him many fans both in and out of China. In my opinion, he is able to bring listeners into the moods of his songs (sometimes you do not even know the lyrics). He can sing in at least 12 foreign languages with reasonably good pronunciation. (At least, the respective native people understand without the need of subtitle. )
Many, many more from him awaiting for you to discover. He sings with perfect tune and strength at the right notes. He hardly show off his skills for the sick of showing off.

Note:
The chow is like when you say chowder, but the o is like British people pronounce "o" which sounds like "ou" or "ow".
the shen is like English word for gen in general or generate, you just change the g with s, but not e in the word "get", "send" or "center", because it sounds like ei. The e is different sound.)

“Time to Say Goodbye” & “Memory” are the songs he covered in the competition show “Super Vocal”. Then, he still lack some confidence.
“天下有情人(All the Lovers in the World)”, “那片海” and more are the duets he sang with another singer in another competition show “Our Song” which they won. After that, he finally took off with full confidence.

That was back to 2014. He did not win that competition. After that he went back to study at Ukraine music school and
graduated over there. Now he is not just a singer in China but also an artist of music. He can speak at least six languages.
I think you guys should try to react those English songs he sung. Such as: Memory, Think of me, My Only, Time to say goodbye, those songs you understand the lyrics. You will know Zhou Shen is such a good singer, a good storyteller. Every
song he sings, will drag you into the picture of that song. We loved him not just he sings well but also because he is a very

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge Zhou shen fan, but I sense that in his early era, he showed more technique than Feeling in his singing, and I like the fact that as he matured more and got more at ease performing, he is able to balance the technique side and emotional side very well now.
