      At the Cleveland zoo they have a very large outdoor enclosure for them as well. They're probably indoors here just because of the cub. The Cleveland zoo really is one of the good ones.

    i know they are protected and well cared for and most importantly SAFE and LOVED... but something about the way the mom just kept going in circles 0:17 - 0:24 in the small indoor space ... knowing that they deserve to be in the wild but for our lack of humanity they must contend their life in the safety of this space

      @@generalhorse493 they dont roam because they want to stretch their legs like humans, they roam in search for food, i understand non of us here are animal behavior experts but cmon now thats just common sense, do u not think people who work with these animals know how to do their stuff, its just amazing to me lol.

    Heartbreaking seeing this, especially with a species that are known for covering such huge tracts of land regularly during their normal lives.
    Florida bears are an example. Researchers discovered that the bears in Florida will easily and often trek the entire length of it.

    • @madnessofmymind
      @madnessofmymind 2 роки тому

      Are florida bears endangered? And show me REAL PROOF that animals in well run and caring zoos (that protect their species from extinction) are "suffering".

    Isn't pacing a bad sign? Sorry if that seemed rude but I heard that an animal pacing in an enclosure wasn't exactly a good thing.

      yeah it's only temporary. I suspect that they do let mom out periodically. just like humans who breed dogs. they don't keep mom locked up the entire time.

      @@madnessofmymind There are plenty of zoos with much larger and more suitable enclosures for snow leopards. You can see them on their channels on youtube. Sounds like you've got no idea what you're talking about and should take your ignorance emojis and shove them! 🤷‍♀️
      Also, since i suppose you really are dumb enough to not know this, many zoos are involved in wild animal breeding programs to help the numbers of animals in the wild. Especially the bigger and better-funded zoos which have the resources and connections, though any zoo can help in these efforts. Zoos are increasingly important in rehabilitation and repopulation efforts around the world. Not the put animals in tiny boxes place or whatever the hell it is you think, doofus.
