It’s going to take a lot to take the Viltrumites down! ua-cam.com/video/sJ71qfDqVsY/v-deo.html
SPOILER
not really. The Viltrumites essentially undo themselves, courtesy of THRAGG.
It's kinda funny how not only does Nolan mention Gravity being a weakness to Viltrumites; but also mentions the Ragnar's enhanced physical forms because of the gravity. Like suggesting you should work out in higher gravity like in a totally unrelated anime.
Confirmed Goku and Vegeta are stronger than Viltrimites
@@andrewdyckman3616they’ve been stronger never a contest
@@nnightkingjexactly
…. That would make sense in the real world too. Training in slightly heavier gravity would make someone stronger.
@antonradke5943 true it's weightlifting but with gravity
The Space Rider on his oppressor mk2.
Hahahahahahahaha
I guess Mark's powerset included superfast reading and/or opening books just on the right page.
yeah they should've animated him reading 100 something pages just to get to the important part
I mean, it's alien thing I guess, Allen in the next episode read books in Earth English in 2 seconds too lol
Maybe he's just reading the synopsis on the back of the cover page
Dude literally has super speed. It’s like asking how superman read the book so quick
I would have loved that the storys of his books where a little bit more told in more details.
I’d have loved an entire episode dedicated to Nolan’s stories. Make them a bit lengthier or add on more of the stories.
A spin off series where Jonathan Kimble Simmons is just reading them.
I think that was intentional by the writers. Tease them a little bit and then reveal all the the detail about them when Allen eventually recruits them
@@DasG00D1one It could be set in the past, when Mark was a little boy and Nolan was still pretending to be a decent guy. He could read them the books like bedtime stories, hinting sometimes that it indeed happened to him during his time on space.
Invincible shorts
Where it's Nolan telling a young Mark stories of his past with Mark not even realizing it
1:39 Viltrumites: *unable to handle the planet's intense gravity*
Vegeta: "Pathetic."
Those werent viltrumites in the story. Those were the characters. Viltrumites dont use guns or jet packs.
"maybe if it was five hundred times gravity you'd have an advantage... but ten?.... I don't even feel it.."
@@sqwalnocplanet Vegeta has 10x gravity of earth. He did not feel it because he was born in that gravity lol.

I find it hard to believe that Cecil never once thought "hey Omni-man is writing stories about aliens and space travel. Donald! Order a copy of every book and have The Immortal read them all. Perhaps these are autobiographies!"
They did do just that. But the weapons in the book are not feasible for Cecil to obtain.
Exactly what the other guy said, they were well aware of the books but they couldn’t do anything to get them
How would Cecil on earth with limited technology ever find Space Racer or find and capture a Ragnar?
Yeah, can't beat Omni man but we can totally detain and control this distant alien beast that can beat Omni man............@@theduke9292
earth barely has the technology to explore its solar system and all of nolan's books are about adventures that happened far beyond it
Human are just going to mars, so even if these are true, humanity are still decades to eons away from being able to use those knowledge
One thing you have to appreciate is that Nolan properly learned how to write prose, which is something that no superpower could gift him. Man properly learned a skill that required real effort.
Well, he's Hundred of years old, he got time
How did Nolan survive you ask? He’s just built different
Plot armor lol
if you read the comics not all vultrimites are all equal lol nolan and his bloodline has considerable strength over most viltrumites
Camera guy always survives
@@NajeetatikaNolan is the true heir to the empire
@@Najeetatika an it was conquest who fought them not him.
I wonder why Nolan wrote these books with specific Viltrumite weaknesses in mind
He got creative block?
probably thought it was ez money, also these weaknesses all involve aliens far beyond earth's reach
Basically a write what you know thing. For a sci fi adventure there should be a feel of danger, and for a Viltrumite only these things remotely qualify as danger. He knows how those situations feel so he writes about them, because a fall into a chasm isn't really a problem for him so he won't be able to capture the dread in that
Perhaps Omni-Man was already doubting his loyalty when he wrote these books since it would’ve been early into him starting a family with Debbie and Mark
So he wrote the novels as a little contingency, just in case
Nolan's partner: "Honestly, the gravity isn't too bad here. Give it a few weeks, and we should be just fine."
Nolan: "But what about the Dinosaur Men?"
Nolan's partner: "The wha-?"
Picks book up, starts at half way through, somehow reads through the entire book in a single page
Let's assume that Mark skimming through it
And skipping to half way of it
I just assumed his father left him a note somewhere telling him the important pages of the books
The question is, how did Nolan survive that Ragnar??!!
Exactly my thoughts!
I wanna know too
He’s just that guy
Plot armor like Batman. Or probably because he's the most iconic character lol
He wasn't alone
This is the ultimate power in the universe.
Reading.📖📚
I really like how the covers and titles of the books actually look reminiscent of retro science fiction books and films. Even Nolan's narration sounds like a Captain's Log from 'Star Trek'. Not to mention how the scene where he tried to wrestle the first Ragnar reminded me of Captain Kirk's initial grappling with the Gorn.
The planets gravity eh?... i know some certain warriors who have experience in high gravity
Yep. People with the "invincible characters can beat dragon ball z characters" argument is right out the door
They are probably equal to raditz.
Are we there yet?
@@kevinjeffreys967Nobody should’ve even been making that argument lol
@@CutWat No
I love how J.K Simmons narrated the books, the wisdom and strength in the voice was phenomenal, and also terrifying
To think that it take a mere single one of these feral beasts to take on most of (or maybe every?) Earth's superheros pretty easily.
Yep earth would be better off dealing with Viltrumites than these savages, since the former can at least be reasonable
There's no way bring them back. No one on Earth is capable of escaping that planet
Most wouldnt even get past the gravity
If Nolan alone can squash earth, then a Ragnar can too.
the book - about a size of a dictionary
the story - about the size of a leaflet
i agree the stories r interesting tho
There are probably multiple stories in them
Maybe Drawings?
I don't want freak the bibliophiles out, but it is possible to read a single paragraph of a book before closing it and putting it down.
That's not the story. We are given the short version of the important part only. Lot of dialogue and side plots are probably in the books.
Someone has never played any of the Elder Scrolls.
“The gravity was too strong”
Two particularly spiky haired warriors: Okay and?
My opinion is Nolan mentioned the characters (Space Rider etc.) he write on the books have beat and defeat him before he travel and arrived on earth. So he asked Mark call all of this characters to defeat the Viltrumites. Even Allen knows this characters are so truly real 😬
i think Nolan called for reinforcements using a button like lucan did or threw that ragnar towards others and flew away. just a theory
... A TV Theory!
Imagine if the Infinity Ray can be mass produced or they hire the Space Racer against the Viltrumites.
That sounds so cringe.
Mass produced?
Earth defence forces Hiring an alien beyond the solar system?
@@TheRealGazelle well random gangsters managed to hire battle beast
Remember there is always someone or something stronger out there then you.
Space Racer whipping the oppressor mk3 😅
If the reason Ragnars are so strong are because they lived on a Planet with much stronger gravity does that mean that a warrior who regularly trains in similar gravity levels could easily best a Viltrumite?
I guess so maybe if their bodies can handle it
I think it will take several generations
@@DromusTHOr just Alan
Is this a Dragonball reference? 👀
@@magmaspacer1967 It's a Princess of Mars reference.
2:16 If the gravity was as strong as he said it was wouldn't he just fall right through the ground and not skid across?
Viltrumites can fly plus they have special suits that help them adapt on planets with harsh conditions and envrionments or are unhabitable for viltrumets.

This if this was 500x gravity. But 10 I don't even feel it. 🔥
Think these books show that Nolan didn’t have his heart 100% set on the viltrum mission, even prior to the events of S1. He would’ve never made those comics if he didn’t have part of his mind against the viltrimites.
The infinity ray must take a long time to recharge. If that is the case then every shot must count.
Not really
In the comic he can spam the shots
Not really, the issue is that it is infinite, it will just keep going until it hits some unfortunate star or planet in thousands or millions of years.
Its almost like a special beam cannon of something
Space racer sounds badass
1:59 The Ragnar beast should have given her the *heads* up.
Big Iron in space
Imagine a hybrid between a Ragnar and viltrumite
The baby will be the ugliest thing alive😂
The Infinity Ray and training with intense gravity. That, and potentially working with Ragnars to defeat the Viltramites. Very clever Nolan.
I wonder why Omniman did this? Clearly he wasn't planning to betray Viltrum so why did he decide to write about his own weaknesses XD?
They should release Nonlan's Book in real life. I'd love to read through them all. Plus you never know, we might need them some day *Cautiously looks out to space*
The infinity ray is just a gravitational beam emitter from Blame lol
When Nolan say's, "But the planet had other plans" it sounds robotic for some reason.
Mark needs a hyperbolic time chamber
Don't worry, later will Space Freddie Mercury use them as pets
Even him can only capture 2 of them
Two thoughts:
1) I find it a little odd that both Debbie and Marc are not well acquainted with Nolans books. Wouldn't it be something they would have expressed interest in and supported him? Seems a little strange unless he specifically told them he didn't want them to read his work.
2) Its odd that Nolan was a novelist/writer. Writers have to have a lot of emotion and empathy in order to write compelling characters and writers want to share themselves through their work. It's one thing to write just for your own amusement but it's another if you actually want to share stories with the world...for such a closed off and secretive character it's a bit of an odd profession.
Perhaps his emotional repression is why his books were not popular with readers...or, his writing is a hint that there's a lot more to the character then he lets on
His books were never popular because he didn't publish them. He gave them to his tailor, who didn't even read them.
Was that the Seismic Charge noise from Star Wars...?
How strong has to be the gravity of a planet to doesn't even let the VILTRUMITES fly!
Gives me Blame! vibes.
We must make a viltramite ragnar hybrid using the maulers
A huge nitpick - how often do you start to read an unknown book from the middle of it ?)))
The second book sounds like The story of buzz light year. Think about it, Space command?
Thragg tamed these and used them like flying guilatines
I KNEW IT!!!! HE WROTE THE VILTRUMITES WEAKNESSES DOWN IN HIS BOOKS!!!!!!!!
HOW DID NOLAN SURVIVE!!!!?
Probably because he's the second strongest viltrumite?
Ehhhhh, third, possibly fourth.
@KW-de9sc if you include Mark yes. He's stronger than Thragg and Nolan
@@999-raiden not until further into the show he’s not. At this point, there’s Thragg and Conquest, where it’s debatable who was the stronger of the two.
@@KW-de9scThragg, he was the strongest Viltrumite of all times
Highly debatable after Invincible got boost from Eve, because before that he destroyed him 1v1
Imagine just 1 of these creatures somehow got to Earth💀
So technically, he’s telling mark that he should workout on a planet with higher gravity ?
They copied Dragon Ball.
Is that space shark?
Read my books Mark
Don't forget this was Nolan very early in his career as a soldier. He is not as powerful or as skilled as the one we know currently.
People keep saying that Mark is jumping into the middle of these books, but based on how these parts were written, they sound either like a synopsis or a small info dump at the beginning of a book.
Why did Omni Man start his books in the middle pages?
Yakno the books would make a mince sidestory mini movie ova thing
Space rider basiclly cosmic ghost rider lol
ragnars 😎
really curious now about his adventures. I wanna know what happens now XD
Amazon should make them adaptations on the books as movies
The moral of the story is books can save the world!
Episode no?
Is it just me or are they strangely similar to Saiyins and their origin story? Not hating, love them both, especially the latter, but there is an “influence” here🤔😁
Yes they’re very similar, now as for who’s more evil I don’t really know??
The infinity ray is way stronger than in comics
It's almost like saying that a race that exists on a planet with a higher gravity (let's say, ten times) would completely trounce viltrumites.
Probably more than that. The viltrumites couldn't even fly on that planet, and needed a jetpack on top of likely their flight ability. The gravity is likely more than 10x stronger.
To be honest m, the more I look at the Ragnar(s), they more they remind me of *Marvel’s Beta Ray Bill* .
How would Mark tame rognarrs and make them protect Earth from Viltrum?
Who says he needs to tame them could always just have mark serve as bait and lure them to the planet
Thats fking impossible if one of those rognarrs land in earth it would be the end of humanity 😂like for real JUST ONE CAN END SOLO the planet nolan is no match for them and mark is like 200 time’s weaker than his dad
@@breezy3176that would never happen because viltrum know wht those things are

I think that old Viltrumite partner of Nolan's could have been more than just his friend.
Since when vilturmites use guns?😅
Why did he right this tho?
