Evil mark comes across as even worse than nolan. Omni-man is mostly professional,detached and somber over the killings( except when he is "bonding" with his son). Mark is straight up joyful over doing murders by the dozen.

He's been trained and educated by the Empire itself, and draws his satisfaction of fufilling the Empire's orders. Meanwhile Mark is on his VERY FIRST TAKEOVER :D This lil' goober is having the time of his life here! Nolan is pretty much watching his son proudly, like a dad does as his son confidently takes the plate and knocks it out of the park, knowing this moment was guaranteed to come. I love how casually terrifying the concept is too.
I doubt he'd act the same if Nolan wasn't right there watching his every move, silently and not so silently critiquing and judging mark's actions. Even if he wanted to do things differently, nolan's constant presence makes it impossible.

The best thing about these is that the lines dont feel out of place or forced ,its not like they try to shove them in for the tradition,they actually think carefully before adding those lines in different scenarios.
In most shows the surprise factor/plot twist is towards the end of the series but Invincible somehow manages to do that in the first episode in both seasons
@@faby6515 The joke is that the Mark of the 'main' timeline seemed awfully close to agreeing with Omni-Man until he called Mark's mother and his wife a 'pet'.
They did it throughout the episode with our invincible too, it was very clearly just a gag. It was funny, because we expected it every time, and then they finally reveal the card near the end of the episode.
I love that early on they established that Viltrumites “fly” by moving themselves physically through space instead of actually boosting themselves off of the ground or using some gravity-defying power to put out a burst that allows them to fly in a direction, they just move in three dimensions. It shows really well here, every time Immortal needs to move you see him have to kick off in some way, usually in mid-air by boosting into a direction. But Nolan and Mark are both easily able to navigate through space at high speeds without the extra dashing around and additional shockwaves from kicking away from where they were, they just *move*.
Honestly... i think the reason why most Mark's are evil in the multiverse is that their powers must have developed way early, probably near infant age. The time Mark spends as a human matters, otherwise, he becomes a full Vultrum under his dad's influence. It's the only way how he becomes so cold.
Or in the other realities, Omni-Man doesn't call his wife a pet. That's what set Mark off at the end of season 1 imo. Mark seemed to be on the cusp of accepting what his father said until he said that.
