Awesome! I’m in St Augustine right now and the beach sites are $200 and up! Also very difficult to get. The Christmas lights are unbelievable here. Those trail views you have are spectacular. Thanks again for sharing another great video.
Apart from an 8" survivor knife, stun gun, mace, and machete, I added a Bruni New Police 9mm Pak blank pistol (very loud) and a .50 cal Umarex TR50 Paintball Revolver paintball airgun to my RV arsenal. Both are non-lethal and under $100. I also added on each side of the RV solar motion sensor LED lights and have an intruder alert. Remember even if you do not have a gun you can bluff "Go away I am armed with a gun.".
Thanks for watching 🤗 We do generally have pleasant weather year round. We have been to Baltimore Maryland a few times when our son went to school there for 4 years. Unfortunately we didn’t get to explore the rest of Maryland.
I remember playing on the giant sand dune when I was young. Our little dog ran down the dune to chase a semi truck and came inches from getting squished. I also remember being able to tent camp along that stretch too.
That looked like a lot of fun, and hard work, well done. You bring glamping to the next level, and especially washing up with the beautiful dried flower display plus an amazing view of the ocean. I must remember to pack both next time we go camping on the west of Ireland ;-) Love your videos btw.
@@BamBamRVAdventures yes we live in Dublin. We love to travel over to the wild Atlantic way which is on the west coast, it’s 2,500km coastline about 4 hours from home. It’s possible to wild camp and there’s a lot to see & do. We will be traveling to California next Feb to visit Yosemite and then to Las Vegas to see U2 but no camping for us on that trip ;-)
Hey, that looked like a lot of fun! we have thought about trying out Thornhill Broome (dad lives close by), but were afraid our travel trailer might be too long. Thanks for showing us around! Question - the hike you did - did that start from the Sycamore Canyon campground area ? We hiked from there a few years ago and it looks quite familiar. Beautiful place - we were there in spring but fall looks fantastic as well. We have a video in the queue for a bit north of there - Emma Wood state beach which is also nice if you get that way again. Great job as always :)
Thank you for watching Bob and Dang. The max length for trailer including truck is 31’ so we only see small to medium trailers up to small class A. The trail does start from Sycamore campground. We haven’t camp at Emma Wood yet since it is hard to book for the weekend but will try if we find availability last minutes.
Wow! That hike needed your hiking poles!!!!!!!! Dont think I can do that height…..but nice video! You all eat very well I’m impressed. What picnic table cloth, size and keepers….. My keepers are too thin for state park tables…….. again thank you for the video…..
Thanks for watching Doug. You don’t need hiking poles just need to like heights. Lol I bought the table cloth at TJMax. I forgot what size but I remember I got the largest rectangular one. I wanted to buy 2 of the same one so I can cut one into 2 pieces for the benches but there was only one. So I cut the length down and use the shorter piece to cut into 2 pieces for the bench. It works but a little short for a long table . I just found out I can make an Amazon storefront to put the affiliated links for the items that we bought for our van. We do get a small tiny commission when you buy through the links. 😂You can check it out. The clips are under camping. 🤗 www.amazon.com/shop/bambamrvadventures
The views are incredible, the hike seems like a really good work out, and the food looks fantastic! The only problem is the SC cap. Should be a Bruin cap….J/k
Thank you James. Food always taste better when we camp. 😂Having the camper van really pushes us to be more outdoor. So for us the money is well spent. 🤗
Thank you so much for watching 🤗We started this year off with a trip out of state already so 2024 goal is more travels all the way to Texas….😂Wish we could take off work for longer trips like all the way to Florida. Baby steps…😂
Great video!! We will be there for a week this month. We usually beach camp by Ventura and Carpinteria areas so I am unfamiliar with Malibu side. We finally upgraded to a new and bigger rig but will not be towing another vehicle. So our other transportation will be just e-bikes. Are there grocery stores nearby that we could ride the bikes to? Is the water calm enough to do paddle boarding? You mentioned spigots- will they allow us to refill our fresh tank with it? I'd prefer not to travel with a full fresh tank(55 gal) if water is available in the camp site. Name of hiking trail? How far is it from the campground? Thank you for posting this video!
@@gotTeslaModelY Thanks for watching Carlos. I don’t remember seeing a grocery store nearby. When you stay at Thornhill Broome campground you have free access to adjacent campground nearby Sycamore campground. You can fill your water and dump over there. You can bike to Sycamore campground and the trails are in there. Enjoy your time there 🤗
@@BamBamRVAdventuresthat's great info thank you so much! I am looking forward to our boondocking there. We would probably try the hiking trails if close by. I am also hoping we could use our inflatable SUP/kayak paddle board when water is calmer. Definitely bring a kite I bought a year ago from Costco. Lol. We will probably use Uber or Lyft to go to a nearby bar if there is one. That is if the fare is reasonable. We were in Hobson Beach campground two weekends ago. The fare is almost $70 one way to downtown Ventura on Main street. Geez. That is only about 10 miles via bike path. Oh well.
@@gotTeslaModelY having a kite there is a good idea 👍 I wonder too if Uber goes there? We like the pizza pocket thing on the menu at Hobson when we camped at Faria campground
