I think if you plan to eat the entire doi with your family and doesn’t plan to keep it in the fridge for long, not heating can also be okay.

What if we dont heat the mango pulp. And add it just like that after blending?
I don't think it will make a difference....or may be he cooked it to lower the water content in it and to thicken it a bit.....
