Any pipe will do. Wider pipe, more water. Remember, input in the river must be higher than the rice field/output.

Which one is best to use tank? PVC pipe u make install to use tank or drum for a tank?? Hope u consider to answer..
if you open the higher side first, would be a bit easier. you'll lose less water from the pipe since it can't pull in air
Are all pipes used are the same 16mm sizes...
This helps to drain water to a lower or between equal spots, but will not irrigate reverse.

There is no limit, you just make sure the water source is few mm higher than the outlet. If your pipe is proper sealed and your water source is few mm higher than the outlet then make the water go on top of Burj Khalifa.

How do lock the water when you are not using it
check ball valves intake lines towards the river. you see check valve going up top he used to fill the water ? need those. 1 each for intake lines close to the river. turn it off when you dont need it
The guy is finally at least naming his apparatus with the right name. This system has been known almost from the beginning of time. So what's the big deal? You see in order for the water to flow the outlet has to be lower than the inlet. That's called siphoning. I have done that many times when I need petrol or diesel fuel. So what's the big deal? Neither does he need the extra pipes sticking up. Is that added just to deceive? Unless there is something I don't understand here I call these kinds of people children of the devil; just like their Father they love to deceive others. Why is he making these videos? Is it to really help others, or is it so he gets so many hits & then gets paid finally by you-tube or goggle?
