- New cards! I know Cable and Domino are the new hotness, but you’ve probably already seen them take on this scenario a dozen times by now, so I decided to take an old favorite against the new campaign to see how that shakes out. Does Drax have what it takes to chase down the Marauders??

I know right? I was tempted to proxy it for this series since I’ve already been using it with him so much lately but I decided against it. It’s really really awesome though lol
Fun game. Every time I see Drax in Protection I want to play him which is funny as I'm not a fan of the GOTG heroes and he is my least favourite but now I can see so much potential and also I can see how much fun it is to play a campaign with just one Hero. I have always played them with the Heroes from the campaign box but I can see me playing ROTRS with my Protection Ironman as an experiment.
You definitely should! I was never a campaign player but Next Ev made me a believer and now I really want to start playing more campaign mode. It’s fun to get to know a hero better plus the campaign rewards are cool 😎
Another fun playthrough. Honestly tempted to pick up the Guardians expansion after these recent plays... I'll probably wait until after the X-Force cycle though!

There’s some great stuff there for sure! Drax is my favorite obviously, but Venom and Rocket are also super awesome 😀
The deck construction looks very similar to arkham horror with its small encounter sets and mixing between campain missions
For sure! And the cool thing here is you can actually switch out some stuff of the sets if you want to. I believe in this one the Nasty Boys set is the optional one so you could put any other mod set in there to change things up!
What if you change old multi villain szenarios with hopes captor ... something like dok oc stays in game ... maybe a bad example because of the way sinister six szenario is build
But the thought is interesting to me
That’s a good call and I’ve wondered the same thing! Maybe you could use the Wrecking Crew minions for example in this scenario, just to add even more variety 🤔
@@GetUpandGame don't forget the wrecking crew encounter set ... hmm there are many cards with active villain, i need to check if it would work
@@olliha3935 yep! Yeah I haven’t looked yet, might be some weird interactions there. But still, really feels like you could pop some other giant minions in here and have something pretty cool 😎
